Meh, tried the demo, didn't like it at all. Slow, boring, empty and pointless. We're far from the gem that is Paper Please (Glory to Arstozka! BTW). Only comparing the game to Paper Please because some steam reviewers did and really I don't see why.
I ran the exe file. Made sure to tick the box in the plaza installer. But all I get in the directory that I selected to install the game to is this?? There's no shortcut either. Either I'm missing something obvious or something is missing from these files.
Whenever I run the application after installing, it just closes and redirects to the steam page to purchase the game. Anyone know a solution to this? It's happened on a couple other Steam games I've downloaded.
In their defense if you're new to piracy it can be confusing, many repacked games have the crack already applied so you just need to run the .exe. If the first four or five games they downloaded had the crack pre-applied then it's easy to not know there should be another step involved. But yes, researching at the library of Google University before getting involved in something that is 'technically' illegal would be a smart idea.
Also, some games don't actually have crack files. Some are offered 'pre-cracked', so to speak: you don't have to install them, you can play them the moment you extract the folder. The crack is already in the file.
Except i'm pretty sure the Plaza installer has a little option you have to tick that auto applies the crack so if they didn't even bother to read that it's 100% their fault
The installer says something like "copy contents of plaza folder to install folder", so if you are new to piracy and have no idea what that means, you probably just ignore it - at least that's what I did, while stupidly applying the crack myself
I guess the previous version was also from plaza, now it's "preinstalled"
