I already played it before and it was kinda boring, until they added the hotwire update. The added hacking mechanic made the game a little bit more fun for me. I spent most of my time jacked in one of the terminals over scouring the dungeon. XD. It's no Grimrock since it has turn-based combat, but it's a fun game if you're into loot grinds and collecting codex entries. The classes were unique compared to other class-based games, too.
Yup, I too love the hacking and how useful it is: melting the dungeon's security and opening the doors. I really like the game, they managed to make a nice little time waster. The background story is fine, the factions system enticing. Already have around 80 hours in it and like to casually launch it and do a dungeon. Still haven't finished it since I keep making randomized dungeons to up my score with so and so faction ^^ You can also play only the hacking part in the hack shop with special jobs if you only want that part

Its an attribute. Like a gun needs bullets. But also like bullets in your gun, theres places where it belongs and places where it doesn't. Thats why theres a label on it.

I thought S stood for shooter (or second). Like in real time action. The opposite of turn based, but you're right the game is in first perspective and you shoot things. If that doesn't make it a FPS, i don't know. Haha
