Probably ur antivirus removed or blocked crack file(s). Check its quarantine & restore the file(s) [Maybe a dll file is in your AV chest] & add game's folder to its exclusion.
it is not necessary to have antivirus, windows to defend them I block them, look in your history or the files you have in quarantine, if you do not know Google search that there are tutorials that explain it
still no need to be a dick this is what they where talking about they did not realise that it was the mod kit m8 its called a mistake. instead of calling them a liar say its a mod kit instead like someone that actually helps
