I installed the game and played for a bit, nothing bad happened then installed the DLC Update next is the 21/02/2020 update but after the scanning finished, it showed "Azurlane\Content\Paks\Azurlane-WindowsNoEditor.pak Hash sum mismatch! Required MD5: BF11533B685D51C3C7C8389B1697592A".
Same. I even tried to reinstall the game and to update before activating the dlc but no effect. Maybe it's because the main game is from Darksider and the updates and dlc are form Codex ? What's more it seems there are some missings dlc. Edit : It seems it really was because it was not the same group. You can find the base game from Codex on some other website.
Can't launch the game. When I tried to launch the game, a blue loading icon appears beside the mouse cursor and disappears. And the game is not launched either. If anyone has a solution to my problem please share with me.

you have to update the game "in order", like from top to bottom starting with the DLC update, to patch file 21/02/2020 to 04/03/2020 to 11/04/2020. If you update the game directly to 11/04/2020 that hash sum error will show.

Hmm, I can't seem to initiate the Cognitive Awaken. The character is at Lvl 100, already exchanged a Cognitive Chip from the shop, and has Crush (doesn't matter right). Went to Dock>Status Screen>Pressed Y (I in keyboard, heck I pressed everything), nothing happened. Anything I missed? Ah, is it all Battles need to be S rank (except Final Chapter)?

Oh I remember playing it on my PS Vita. I thought it would be like a 3D turn based tactical game or something. When I realized it's just similar to the mobile game I got disappointed. There is senran kagura games on the Vita that plays alright. Kancolle could've been something similar in that vein. AL Crosswave is what I expected Kancolle for the Vita play somewhat like. However the gameplay in this is just..kinda rough. And abit of unnecessary grind. (Which does not matter since I cheat engine the items to bypass it anyways) Though I hate some of the character designs. I would say kancolle has better designs though. Less "animal ears". But that's subjective.

I think Tanaka foreseen this and insist to keep the game like how it was, some people can be really stubborn and Tanaka is one of them. Players still play KC because they think "love" resolves everything, even if it comes to how disgusting KC's RNG is, not to mention some events demand you to have certain items in order to deal damage, yet those items cannot be obtained except they set a drop during events - That equals to a solid "fuck off" to new players that are interested in KC, although I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to feel any interest towards it in a time like this.
Yeah, it's a sad thing to see a game you like being driven by incompetent people. Just like AAA publishers now days. Everything has to be monetized and restricted to paywall.
Problem is... players only get new characters via combat events, they can't even make things easier in KC by simply spending more money on it. Surely they can buy the so-called "water bucket" to make kanmusu available for sortie faster, but when it comes to the "random drop" when you finish a fight... yikes. That's even worse than any existing gacha games.
I can't get my controller to work here. I use xinput and it wont work. Any body on the same boat. I can't play it on pc cuz the help tips are in controller buttons!
I use a program called inputmapper for my ps4 controller. It makes it so your ps4 control run for those that only use xbox 1 controller. So far it works for all games i couldn't use my ps4 controller.
haven't tried the game but adding it to steam library and launch it using big picture mode worked for most of the games, that's the first thing i always try if the controller wasn't working.

The guys who own Kancolle and Sega actually tried to take Abyss Horizon to court and have them shut down claiming it was a rip-off of the arcade version of Kancolle. The people who run Abyss said "F-U" and transferred the title to a Chinese company so Sega couldn't touch them. lol

Give it time. She'll become purchasable DLC at some point, I guarantee it. Neptune is a really recognizable character that people would definitely be willing to drop a few bucks for. This is more or less just a move that was done to make early adopters feel like special snowflakes, and as was said by others, this is far from recent. As far back as PS1 they've rewarded people who pre-order and such with free exclusive stuff. In fact it was even worse back then as the stuff you got was usually a physical item (pin, cheap figurine, etc.) since digital downloading wasn't possible. Was hell for collectors.
Not to deffend them or attack you (since I disrespect these moves too) but " Special gift for Pre-Order only" is not something that exist only recently. You can find these type of "limited edition pre order" a decades ago. Not to mention the " first 1 000 copy sold get this thingy magigy" that also exist since the Ps2 Xbox era.

Am I missing something? The .ini the guy mentioned was "steam_emu.ini". You say "steam_emu.ini" doesn't exist. It's literally right above the last item on the list in the very pic you posted.

The unreal engine is quite powerful. If this game is made in unity, its performance would be a nightmare. Also, the developer won't let you change any advanced graphics setting, probably because it is already optimised.
