I never liked the turn based aspect of the Total War games after the first Medieval Total War, although I'm a big turn based fan in general. It just doesn't suit the games. It clashes with the real time combat and the general loading times and the time the turns of the opponents take are way too much. A faster mode would suit the Total War better in my oppinion. They should just steal the pseudo real time mode with pause of the Paradox grand strategy games but the guys of CA seem to be too stuck in their old thinking. No real innovation since forever... even the combat AI is pretty much the same as in the first Rome Total War.
True. Although, there are laws regulating that even a concept can't "confuse the average customer", so therefore it can still be open to debate in a court of law. Then again, you can sue someone for almost anything.
