Okay so I found how to get workshop mods working. This was by complete guess. So your downloading your mods putting them in the mods folders. But they are not appearing? I had the same issue the fix is strange. So inside of your deployed mods folder is where your mods go. But for them to work you create a folder a certain name. Maybe to determine what menu the mod goes under? But anyway make a folder inside DeployedMods.HS named mgame#1#0.1. You can make one any number. So if you have multiple mods just put mgame#2#0.1 and so on. Put the mod files inside. And poof there it is! Full modding goodness!
you can try using this. Just copy the url or link of the official mod in steam workshop and paste it then tap download.
Place downloaded Mods on DeployedMods.HS FYI scroll down a few comments to see how mods work by changing the mod folder you downloaded, Name into something like this
i don't know what i'm doing wrong i installed the latest version 0.8.0.4 and every time i open it it crashes while its loading is there something i can do to fix it?
THANKS! it worked for anyone having trouble just go to control panel and then the time and region click region go to admin and put Chinese as an accepted Unicode language then restart and your set. Anyways thanks again for the tip dude with weird name! PS your computer will slow down a little after the restart but after a few minutes it will go back to normal.
copy past and replace all file in directory (if the mod have "Source Project" folder on its rar copy and paste the data inside source project folder instead)
Build the project and viola just close the mod editor and the mod will be detected in mod page.
what mods are you trying? i know some works and some does not.. it's easier if you bought it on steam as you can get the mods directly, but if you pirate it it's also doable...
you can learn it urself it's pretty easy anyways, just go to the mod developer tab(rightmost or something along those lines in the MODS tab, problem is some text are chinese or so iirc.. anyways i've prebuilt the Pandoras Box Mod for you so that you just need to copy paste it like the basic mods, just read the txt inside on where to paste the mod, ill remove it on my google drive later tho
ill check if its compatible on cracked version without anyworkaround.. most mods are compatible if you buy it legally cuz you DL it in-game and it makes the necessary adjustments itself. but nonetheless cracked version can also install "some" mods, unless if you know how to make the adjustments personally you can almost make the workaround to make all mods work. but if not youll just have to look for mods that does not require anyworkarounds.. and BTW some mods are in chinese so..
it's not a simple copy and paste.. you have to either DL it in-game officially ofc to make it work. or DL (cracked version) it and then using the Mod Builder ingame to build it urself..
Yeah, I know what you mean. There's already a mod for Multiplayer installed so you think all you got to do is find the directory but its really frustrating.
i tried the game with the patch. game has decent update but the English is not perfect atm, but nonetheless its translation is still better to the likes of tales of wuxia.. i'ts a hybrid of M&B warband and Dynasty Warriors also don't know if it's really like a global event like the likes of the Orc and Undead invasion in battle brothers but theres something along those lines on the main story arc for 1 of the characters i've played.. and the game runs pretty well imo..
i can't run the game from the new game window there is one square with blank picture on it. Anyone got the same problem and have found a solution for this?
This might be news to you, but there are people in the world who speak and read Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, etc)... there's actually quite a lot of them. Crazy I know. >.>
