Got pretty banged up here when i posted some criticism about the pace of development. At the start i said i would follow this and maybe even buy but then changed my mind because development was so slow.
I still look into the steam site maybe 3-4 times a year and it always has good reviews, though i am really glad i didn't back this one from the start.

I am trying to pirate MMORPG Tycoon 2, but I can't seem to find the ISO file(I have successfully pirated games before), and when I try to run it, it says "windows cannot access the specified device/path/file. You may not have the appropiate perms to access the item."

For the newest update on this version, is anyone else having a problem in regards of trying to rename abilities? Just wanting to know if I'm the only one experiencing this or not.
Update: If anyone is experiencing what I am for the newest update for igg, the solution is this: Copy what ever you want the name for your ability to be, erase what is in the original text box(Even if it doesn't look like it is erasing it, it is), copy and paste what you want into the text box TWICE then press esc. It will change the name to what you are wanting. From what I can tell, this is only happening on this newest igg version... (May be wrong though) I get the feeling a reupload may be needed to fix this issue, but with this work-around I found it isn't too bad. Please say if anyone else is experiencing this since it will prove my suspisions.
Update: Only took a ~week after requests for update. Yes, updates come and requests work, so please do put out your requests in the request section instead of the comment section of the game. Only saying this cus' I'm annoyed with the amount of people thinking they're entitled on this website going on game pages and filling comment sections with needless requests for updates when the request section exists.
Yep, I even made a request on the request section but have yet to see it properly updated. All we have to do at this point is wait for one of the uploaders to do it really....
First, igg has a Request Section. Second, there is a featured comment above you telling you about the Request Section. Third, it's possible for the staff to not see your request so, you may send the request again after 24 hours. Fourth, igg is doing you a favor by letting you try or pirate games for free, don't be a spoiled individual by using caps and demanding something like something only a Karen would do. Fifth, buy the game or have some patience. The world doesn't revolve around you.
If you can see my comment, you should be able to see the request section. Refresh or unblock it if you have noscript or any browser related script that is obstructing it. If you use VPN, then allow disqus or the website to display information. If you must, you can use a different browser to access it to see if it is your browser or some other software conflict that is preventing you from seeing it. If you still can't, try the request section on your phone, there is a miniscule possibility that your firewall might have improperly flagged it.

wow! After trying this game i see no need why they would want to upgrade this terrible game! it's long boring and unfinished! I wasn't able to carve a path thru the mountains and after wasting 2 hours trying this game i just called it quits! Deleting this game and glad i wont have see this something so half made again! I was hoping it would really be like make your own adventure kinda game but it didnt come close so few things to add it just wasnt worth the time and effort! Maybe of the dev really put some effort into this game but i really doubt it he is barely doing anything with it at this point probably see this become abandoned soon.
So the month long awaited update.... Some new building skins...like 12 or so Players now form parties.....you still can't do a healer class I really regret having praised this one months ago, development has slowed to a glacial pace and things that should take weeks are done in half a year....

I said below that i will buy that game as soon as it has content for more than some hours of playing. The last update was on 24.03. bugfixes and localisation. The update before that on 14.03 was bugfixes and localisation Localisation: Some messages and menu buttons that 95% of people are able to read even if they don't speak english. I really hope they ramp this up now, the last month was very dissapointing and the content wasn't really expanded upon. I still have high hopes for that game but atm it looks like the dev is on vacation or something.
And the next update is out, and it's a (TADA) localisation update. They spend 1,5months on localisation in a game that uses like some hundred words.....

(Help Please) The game was opened and then I chose the name and this is for things then the download screen ends and a black screen opens The options are present and the equipment but there is no map and when I choose anything it tells me there is no map. What is the cause of the problem?

The new patch (not here yet), changes one of my main complaints about only being able to have 5 monster types. Not there are 30 possible, unlocked by progression. As i said, atm im not buying it. But when we get Dungeons and the option to change more than just the 2 default abilities + maybe customizable loot etc., i think i will buy this one. Really seems like a good product to support.

It's an early access game. And some people complain how bad it is. That's what early access is for. Game is not complete but has potentional. With going in a right way, this game can be very enjoyable. I like the content so far.
This is one of the better examples how early access should be done. I too like the way this is going but i also have to say that most of the fixes till now, were either bugs etc. or gameplay stuff, that did not change or adress the problems that keep this from being fun for more than an hour. I plan on buying this eventually but at the current state i will not. For it being of real interest too me i need: -Dungeons -More diverse buildings that actually do something. -Groups -I don't like the network system but i could live with that, i still hope they change it. -The size of all the scenery stuff is way off, trees too big, players too small, buildings etc.well... -Community creations implemented Most of that complaints are acknowledged by the dev and they will be adressed in the future. But as said, i tried it out and i never played more than an hour. When i can spend more time on it and it gets more diverse i will buy it. Now this may sound way more critical than i actually think about the game. I think the dev really deserves some support. This really has potential and when it really takes off, this may even have the potential to spawn sequels in the aaa sector.

That's exactly what early access is though. Games released before they are finished. Sometimes it's because the dev is lazy, other times it's because creating a game isn't cheap nor is it easy and having some income allows for the developers to dedicate more time and money towards the product.
And that is your decision. Nothing wrong with that, BUT also definitely nothing wrong with going the early-access route. Making a game is (time) costly and having that extra bit of funding to make the most out of it is what some developers need or seek. Besides, you downloaded a pirated version of the game. Not really the best representation of the game.

Yes... tycoon games generally exists out of the same(ish) menus and views, just like many FPS games exist out of having a character (or his/her arm) in front of you with a gun. That's just how this genre works. In this game the world map actually does change though? Not sure what that is supposed to mean, as it is very much a "creative builder" as well. Although limited at the moment it's there - far from an unchanging world map... as the world map is one of the bigger features of the game that you use all the time. It's not an MMO... no it's not. lol. It's a tycoon game in which you create an MMO. But, if there are so many games that are exactly similar with just a different name please share a couple with me.
