If you're having the TK17_engine.exe error just "uninstall" it with the file called TK17_Uninstall in the binaries folder. I've had to do it every time I start it. It doesn't get rid of your saved characters.
It worked the first time I played it, but now upon trying to play it again i get a prompt screen followed by an error executing TK17_engine.exe then it closes, ive tried uninstalling it and re downloading it nothing seems to work. Help plz
