This is a really good novel, the characters are very enjoyable and markables but damn man, damn. The story is HORRIBLE short, and the end is UTTER CRAP. It's so sad because, the start and the progression is simple amazing. Do anyone know other game like this one? But with conclusion and we're your choices really matter?
Story is half complete. There is only one ending no matter what you try. The ending is utter garbage. There is horrible save mechanics lock you into certain paths. Overall, the story makes you think it is unique and your choices matter, but nope. The ending is so bad that I literally was mad for a few days after.
There is a bit of controversy surrounding the game, but I think most of that comes from people comparing it to the first person rpg made previously. As a standalone one time experience it was actually pretty good, but a big problem with games like this (Telltale games too) is that the magic sort of collapses on multiple runs. It really isn't that long and replayability is low, so it's hard to recommend to anyone to actually buy. Otherwise give it a try, even if you don't think you'd like a typical interactive story game.
Wtf man i played the game and worked normally till night 8 and then my fucking notebook shutdown because of battery. Then i started it and when i click it to play it was showing me nothing but playing the music and the black fucking screen.
Got to the that one scene on night 17 where Arthuro offers blood bond and the are no options to choose and also no continue button to clock. Does anyone else had this issue and knows how to resolve?..
For a while I thought I was the only one who thought the game was utter crap for making it so your decisions mean nothing. I've replayed the game 37 times just to make sure that you can't actually change anything, and you can't lol.
In defense I can say it wasn't utter crap at all. It's pretty, has canonical characters from WoD and it really has that there-are-no-happy-endings atmosphere. Still not really what would you expect from VN. By the way, I am truly impressed by your determination to check on other ending, no sarcasm.
Thanks, I liked the concept of the game so I wanted to make sure I wasn't being hasty in my judgement of it. To clarify what I meant was that it's crap for being classified as an rpg game and advertised as a build your own story game. But it has a very well designed story and art style that's very enjoyable. For your first play-through it IS really fun, but it offers next to no replayability except to do the missions you couldn't because of time constraints.
Uh...Seems like that is the ending :( I can't complain though, just gonna say i'm glad i didn't paid for the "game". There's nothing like multiple endings, your choices don't matter in the end.
Not even a final pictures of that one ending, huh? Well, I can't complain also, it was a free download and I actually enjoyed art style and story, and it was logical to be fucked up by professional Jyhad players, lol. Just expected something in the end, it feels sort of unfinished. Now excuse me, time to replay Bloodlines xD
Played the Otome version which was pretty bugged. I hope I will be able to see the ending in this one Edit : I had less fun because of the writing style that didn't made care for the setting neither for the characters. Prefer Red Embrace at least in it your character is given a purpose and his/her life isn't finished after 17 nights, lol.
I'm an avid reader and love visual novels. This game is interesting, on brand and well-written, however the equivalent of a railroading DM bound to have his player's contributions be worth one or two lines of reactionary flavor, then back to his story. Putting one in the shoes of an oblivious errand-boy for the whole one-shot, since it's barely long enough for a session, only to have a cliffhanger of an unsatisfying ending. And once you realize it all has only one actual ending with few minor variations (or early death bad ends due to true stubbornness)... The replay value that multiple pre-made characters at first indicated goes out the window. Yer choice doesn't matter, even here. I wouldn't buy it or recommend it. The Prelude games were shorter, mobile-like, full of controversy and yet more satisfying than this lol.
Never played it myself, but I heard strange and wonderfull stories about huge LARP parties around this setting. And lore wise it's freakingly awesome. Goes great with some Anne Rice on the side.
lembrei de um maluco no youtube que falo: Você é um todo poderoso vampiro, mas um vampiro não pode para o tempo! Dio: Za Warudooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
aaaah shit its a VN for a moment i thought this was something like bloodlines -_- Edit: downvotes, fuck off kids, go fap with your shitty powerpoint anime porn games
I didn't even know there was such a thing. But does anyone know if this is the new world of darkness, or the old one - like in the original bloodlines. I see people commenting the old one or 'both'.
I'm not sure. All the information i've seen for both this and bloodlines 2 only say that it's set in the world of darkness and that Bloodlines 2 is a direct sequel to the first one
I've looked into it a little more and it seems to be the owod, especially if it's a direct sequel. They're using the old clan systems and powers. I really hope it does well regardless.
Bloodlines 2? Well if Steam has a release date then it shouldn't be. There was also no indication that it would be an Epic exclusive, at least none that i've seen

Thats all I'm saying.
It starts alright bur the main menu is just a black screen and music...
By the way, I am truly impressed by your determination to check on other ending, no sarcasm.

but then I cried my eyes out...😭
