people whose games do not work or run slowly are probably too weak for this type of games, the game meets its requirements and I am very grateful for making this game available on this website
He means like LAN, your friend would have to connect to your internet or maybe even your PC via ethernet. Sometimes LAN has some weird quirks to get it working right.
Complaining on a pirate site ain't gonna help one bit to vent your opinion or frustration now go complain on the official page at least you have a small chance of being heard and notice by the devs, even then they just gonna say you don't even matter hahaha.
Here's an idea: How about instead of bashing on a game because it doesn't meet your personal opinion of what good is and being spoiled shits, why don't you just be grateful that you at least have a Tokyo Ghoul game? Stop judging everything. And as for the toxic members of the TG fanbase (which is almost all of them) who keep bashing on the anime and praising the manga to high heaven and can't see the irony in that, please leave. You're not welcome. This is supposed to be a safe space and you're making it not that.
people criticize the anime series because studio pierrot doesnt care about the expectations of the TG fanbase and what the original manga is. Look at my hero academia for example, it has 3 seasons out and 1 airing right now with 100 eps in total +or- and they still didnt catch up to the 20th manga volume, yes it has some filler episodes here and there but it follows the manga very well. Now compare that to the latest seasons of tokyo ghoul where they introduce characters in an episode and kill them in the next one. Of course people are going to be mad they have the right to do that
Really? We're blaming the studio again? Even though Ishida worked with the studio? And why should anyone care about the fanbase? The TG fanbase is one of the most toxic anime fanbases out there. You need to understand that Tokyo Ghoul does not belong to you.
Well it is made for us but thats not the point. Yes gotta admit the Tokyo ghoul fanbase is full of toxic dudes and kids. It doesn't matter who the fuck makes the anime, even if the original creator helped the studio, it still underperformed in my opinion. Fights were super bland, the animation was lacking and the plot was super rushed just to complete the series in 12 episodes. Hey I'm sorry if I'm sounding like an asshole, I'm just unhappy for the anime adaptation to a universe I love. Heck Im 3 volumes away to finishing the whole physical Manga series.
"It still underperformed in my opinion." If you understand that it's your opinion why are you making a big deal? Why does everyone act like having an opinion gives them an authority on whether something is good or bad? Good and bad are subjective. It's almost like you don't want them to have any creative freedom and just want them to make the series the way you want without giving them any choice in what they can do. "Fights were bland, animation was lacking and the plot was super rushed just to complete the series in 12 episodes." 1.Disagree. Kaneki's second fight with Amon is one of the best in the series. 2. I don't know why you think that. I've seen the series multiple times over and I never had any problems with the animation. 3. You try condensing a story into twelve episodes and see how much stuff you have to cut out. Also, the whole series was not finished in 12 episodes. The series has 4 seasons which are 12 episodes each.
You win on this one. You are right about all of that. Still, there are 30 volumes in the Manga+3 spin offs that explain the back story. Just feel like the seasons could have been organized better to explain some things better. But the rest you are actually right, the comment actually made me think back to when I watched it, I still enjoyed the anime, it's just that seeing so many bad things said about it. It's not a perfect anime I still think the pacing on the last seasons is a bit wonky but the rest is actually good. Just noticed that my appreciation for the anime decreased cause I let myself get influenced by some random dudes. Sorry about that you actually have a point
Should sonic fans have said "at least we are getting a sonic movie"? Should dragon ball fans said "at least we have a dragon ball live action movie"? Safe place? You are a fucking idiot. This isn't a safe place, it's a fucking pirate website where people download shit they don't want to or can't pay for. If you want a safe space go back to your social media websites. We aren't going to keep quiet just to please people like you who take whatever trash gets fed to them since they are good little fanboys and girls.
Honestly, beta corperate cuck shit like op posted first is the reason why we still get trash cash grab shit like this and basically 90% of licensed anime games. Sometimes I hope these people are bots or something cause the mere fact that there are people who are beta cucks too this level is disgusting. Keep sucking corperate dick scumbag.
Amen. Usually with these Musou games I came to expect a subpar soundtrack, but Ken's Rage on the otherhand.... Fuck, I get the chills every time. It's like a power metal opera.
I get how annoying it is that people keep complaining but Jesus, this is REEEEEEE if I've ever seen it before. People have every right to complain and criticize things. That safe space you are referring to? Yeah, we should be allowed to talk about the things we like or dislike in that safe space. Unless by safe space, you mean Communist China-esque reeducation centers where everyone must follow the elite's standards and protocols lest they be tortured or imprisoned for having an opinion. If criticism makes you feel unsafe, I think you have bigger problems than how everyone else in the fandom rightfully feels about a manga and it's lackluster adaptations. I personally think season 1 and this game are fine, but this comment is too much. Besides, have you not looked at the Steam reviews at all? People are pretty well down the middle and seem to enjoy the gameplay at least. In short; stop worrying about everyone else and do your own thing. If you like the game, great but you aren't allowed to decide how other people can or should feel. Btw, as a long standing member of the TG fandom, it's pretty well accepted that yeah, the anime is flopped after season 1 which doesn't even require one to read the manga. The story genuinely made little to no sense for uninformed viewers until Re filled in the plot craters Root A left in it's wake. There is no irony there, only disappointment.
No, criticism is bad and is never welcome. Telling someone they suck and they're only allowed to do what the criticizer says is never a good thing. "If criticism makes you feel unsafe, I think you have bigger problems." You are aware of what criticism is, right? It's constantly telling someone that they suck and everything they do sucks. Let me give you a prime example: Your movie sucks because you used orange and teal color grading. You should change it to blue and gray because I say so. How exactly is someone supposed to feel safe with that/ Oh, But I'M the one with the problem because I'M not okay with it? What fucking sense does that make? By the way, insulting an anime that I happen to like is not ok. Don't ever speak ill of it again.
Wow I feel stupid for reading and replying to this comment. You are one of those people who are close-minded. Criticism is neither good or bad. It's up to you if you get depress/mad cuz you got criticize on what your doing or make it a motivation to improve your work. If you love what you're doing you won't give up just because someone criticize you and if you give up easily means your gay
No, just copy the save file from the save folder in your games directory and paste it in the new directory. (Or click and drag the save to your desktop and drag it into the new folder)
hmm.... I never watched this animu series or watever but I must admit that this anime boy is quite handsome, yup. 10/10 for dat cute boi with white hair
I am someone who has been playing Bandai games from quite some times now, and yes i do buy their games if I feel that it is good. See the thing about this game in my opinion is that its not worth being a Tokyo Ghoul games. It looks like a game that was scrapped together by some interns that dont even know what Tokyo Ghoul is. Bandai has made some good games like Code Vein, Naruto Storm series, and some of the Tales Series. The thing about bandai games is that they don't seem to have the passion to make the game feel right for the title. Many of the anime games are literally the same format, low exploration, terrible open world combat and a decent 1v1 combat. Commenting here obviously does nothing. When you actually buy this game, it turning out disappointing for the price really does not make you feel good. This is hands down a 20-30 dollar game. Not worth 60 bucks. And worth-fully right to be judged upon.
Why do you get to decide what qualifies as a Tokyo ghoul game. You're not in charge. You don't own Tokyo Ghoul. You don't get to decide what Tokyo Ghoul is and isn't.
I am a consumer dumbo. I give money to games that satisfy me. If the games are not good, I critique it and not buy it. That's how things work. You too are the same as me. I get you are trying to defend it, but you need to understand that this game does not have as much love as it should when being developed. Its literally being developed to suck consumer's money, which 100% of the time ends up being a bad game. Edit: I just read your other comments. You don't seem to know what genuine criticism is. Criticism isn't bad. Its basically reviews of a certain game. If there is proper criticism then its getting told whether the game is doing what it needs to, or in this case, they are using the franchise to make more money instead of trying to make a game that everyone would love. Criticism, when taken seriously by the developers, improves tshe quality of the product. For example the improvement of No Man's Sky and the redesign of Sonic the Hedgehog for the movie.
"If the games are not good, I critique it and not buy it." Why do you get to decide what's good or not. Just because you're a consumer doesn't mean you get to decide what's good or not. Good and bad are subjective. They are based solely on perspective and opinion. You are not in charge. You don't get to decide anything. That's not how this works. If you don't like the game, then it's not the game's fault or the developers fault, it's yours. You made the choice to not like the game. You made the choice to play the game and not like it. "You too are the same as me." No, I'm not. I'm an anti critic. I defend all forms of art from all criticism. It's the only way I can keep art alive. "you need to understand that this game does not have as much love as it should have when it was being developed." There you go again, trying to decide what's good or not when you have no authority to. Why do you get to decide how much love this game has put into it? You're just a person. You don't get to decide anything. "It's literally being developed to suck consumer's money, which 100% of the time ends up being a bad game." A game being developed to suck consumer's money is literally the point of ever video game that's ever been made. What do you think consumerism is about? And bad is a matter of opinion. You don't get to decide what's bad. "You don't seem to know what genuine criticism is." I do know what criticism is. Criticism: the expression of disapproval of someone or something based on perceived faults or mistakes. All criticism is is someone using their opinion to try to control what a person does by making them feel bad. "Criticism isn't bad." Actually it is. It prevents artists from doing what they want to do. How are artists supposed to have creative control of their art when critics keep trying to control what they can and can't do. I see it all the time with movies. "If there's proper criticism, then it's getting told whether the game is doing what it needs to do." There no such thing as proper criticism. Telling someone they suck and they're doing everything wrong is far from proper. And there's no criteria for what a game needs to do. Whether or not the game is satisfactory is based on the perception of the player. Just because you don't like the game doesn't mean they need to change it. The only one who gets to decide whether or not the game needs to be changed is the developers. And since you're not them, you don't get to decide anything. "They are trying to use the franchise to make more money instead of making a game that everyone would love." Making money is the entire point of a franchise. Don't you know how this works? And how are they supposed to make a game that everyone is going to love. They don't know what everyone wants. You can't please everyone. No matter how hard you try, someone is going to be displeased. Might as well make the game the way you want and have everyone hate you, then make a game you don't want to make and have everyone love you. "Criticsim, when taken seriously, improves the quality of the product." Quality is subjective, so how can you improve something that doesn't have anything wrong with it? And criticism should never be taken seriously. People should have the freedom to make things the way they want to without people telling them that everything they're doing is wrong. "For example the improvement of no man's sky or the sonic the hedgehog." Did no man's sky really improve? Or did you just like what was changed? Again, quality is subjective. There is no good or bad, there's only : "I like it or I don't like it." And changing sonic's design was not an improvement in my opinion. The director was a complete sellout. He compromised the artistic integrity of the movie just to please a bunch of crying fanboys so that they could get more money out of them. You're never supposed to do what the fans want. You're supposed to stay true to yourself. The only person's concern over satisfaction you should have with your work is yourself. If someone doesn't like the way you do things, that's not your problem. If you want a Tokyo Ghoul game to be made exactly how you want it, you should make one yourself instead of harassing people and insulting them and pressuring them to give in to your demands.
It seems you do not know how certain things work. You seem to have some understanding for example "Staying true to yourself", but such fact cannot work when you are involving others. Staying true to yourself is something that only work when you are not DEPENDENT on someone else. I have also wrongfully communicated with the wrong words to make my point, as I am not fully trying to describe the word criticism but review. In terms of games, criticism is a must, as it is part of a review. If people were making a game because they want to create something good, you will see games like Death Stranding or Overwatch or Stardew Valley. When a person who wants to create a game, the first question should be "How can I make this game entertaining?". In the case of what you said about franchise making games, they thought "How can I make profit off of this game?", hence shown by games such as Fallout 76 and Anthem. See when a dev thinks of the first question the second question will answered without them having to worry about it, because when they put their heart into it, the gamers can feel the work put into the game which makes them love the games. Yes a consumer does not get to decide what goes on the game or not. But if the consumer is not alone in that opinion and majority support it then there is obviously a problem with it. Artist should be free to create their own art? Dude this game looks like a mobile game yet it is asking for the same price as Death Stranding, Sekiro, or Spiderman. If the director of this game was proud of his "art", he would have proudly stated it as the director of Death Stranding did. YES NO MAN SKY IMPROVED! Even the devs of the game know it and they proudly state it. You clearly don't even know the game properly. And sonic? The director is just borrowing someone else's property and trying to sell it to Sonic Fans. You think he can just trash on the character and think its going to be a success? You have major tunnel vision issues. Like you need to know that. Though I feel that visually this game doesn't meet my expectations, I believe it has done a better job in other aspects(which maybe minor aspects but still a job well done) which is why i say it should be a lower price and not completely trash on it. But you? You have major issues with criticism and dont see that there are benefits to it. You see things that are extremely toxic, and spread it. Some of your words makes sense, but they are broad and can not be applied to everything. Grow a little more and be more understanding of your surroundings, give them a chance even if you dont agree to it.
Here's even better idea: Don't take comments from this community so seriously, sweetie. We are on pirate's website for damn sake, majority of us are just clowning around and provoke each other for laughs. Just chill out dude, we are not on Tumblr.
I don't want to be rude lol jk of course i want to :^) but the graphic from this shitty animu WONDERFUL game looks like straight from play station 2 era.
Andy after reading several of your posts below, you have no room to talk bud. You might want to practice what you preach before criticizing someone else's grammar.
It's not grammar, its literally the wrong word that make entirely different meaning, it's even meaningless, fuck there selves? Also would you please be so kind as to exactly copy paste my mistake regarding grammar?
Everyone did it for me apparently XD By the by, a spelling mistake (i.e wrong words or words spelled wrong) are apart of grammar, and thus is a grammar mistake. I mean, I could also just click your name and copy and paste a plethora of spelling errors and typos, but that would be tedious and your attempt to, show me up....for a lack of a better term, has enough grammar mistakes to prove my point.
Thank you IGG :) To anyone who may open the game and find that it is in chinese, all you have to do is go to the game's folder, open SteamConfig.ini and change "Language = tchinese" to "Language = english" c:
Boku no Hero, Black Clover, Kill la Kill, and now Tokyo Ghoul, the upcoming One punch man will be the same. I played every single one and it's pretty much a bunch of copy paste games with different sprites. Honestly bellow average + uninteresting gameplay, mechanics or story I hope they don't fuck up SAO Allicizationo or DBZ Kakarot, since they're the only games I'm hyped for. Pls Bandai Namco
Apparently only SAO, One Piece and Dragon Balls are good enough to receive anything other than a Naruto copy-paste. It's unfortunate that so many great franchises fall into the hands of one spineless publisher too afraid to experiment. Gintama as an open-world, Yakuza- like game would have been amazing, we got another Dynasty Warriors clone instead.
Fortuhnately, neither of those two games are Warriors games, then. Alicization is going to be more like Hollow Realization and Kakarot will seemingly be similar to Xenoverse.
yeah. they're the same games just with different skins and assets. same can be said with anime fighting games. they all just reuse the same engine from ninja storm.
People mostly love it because of the opening theme and it turned them on to the comics. Even most fans of the series hate the anime, unless they are true masochists and will take anything that's handed to them.
I mean first season is pretty decent, but Root A is utterly garbage, and in Re: they skipped half the manga however the animation was somewhat agreeable. Therefore don't trash on an amazing manga series just because the anime didn't meet your expectations.
Let me read my post again real slow, I need to find the part where you say I trash the manga. That's strange, I couldn't even find the part where I talk about the manga, let alone where I trash the manga
It's not the worst. The first couple seasons were good. The last season was unwatchably bad and made no sense. There's plenty of worse series with significantly worse plot holes
You have my thanks The reason I hate first two season is ryze(?) plothole and asspull, and if you who enjoy the first couple season say the last season is unwatchably bad and made no sense, I glad I drop this show long time ago
never watched the anime, but l like TG2 live action movie,lm guessing is based on the anime. But honestly, who watches anime for the plot? Like,go read a book or somethign. lt like saying that you watched Avengers or Transformers,or TMNT or Spiderman etc etc etc because how well writen was, both the movie and the comics.
It's literally based on plothole, that ghoul chick thats supposed to be the strongest? died impaled by I beam, whereas other's that literally have their guts torn out over and over again survive. And also asspull like the MC hair turn into white and he's become stronger than anyone on season 1, then on season 2 the MC become wuss again
When a one eyed ghoul receives damage, their bodies fill up with more RC cells which increases their strength and abilities. That's what made him so much stronger because of all the damage he took from Jason's torture.
Exactly how I feel when I remember the ghoul chick that supposed to be strong AF died impaled by few I beam, where other not as strong survive something much more worse because of plot :)
Well uh, spoilers, but she didn't die. That being said, I get your point. Despite everyone claiming Tokyo Ghoul is known for it's high stakes and tragedy, there are a lot of asspulls. Tokyo Ghoul is pretty much a Shonen with horror for it's window dressing.
Wait, im interested, she's (or at least her organ) transplanted to MC, so the MC become ghoul, what do you mean she's not dead? I dont care for spoiler for TG, so would you please kindly tell me how and why she didn't die but not surfacing AFAIK till the end of season 2?
Hahaha, no worries, man. So like you said the ghouls who take the worst injuries possible (such as getting each of their limbs hacked off, being impaled through the spine repeatedly or getting skewered through the brain) regenerate like it's nothing, so throughout the entire series she is being kept alive as a permanent organ donor somehow or another. I think by the end she has given away her kakuhou or whatever at least 102 times. Doesn't make much sense but then again, she is supposed to be a parallel to Lilith, the Mother of Demons in Judeo-Christian lore. She and the MC are pretty much the living testament to asspulls. It pretty much became the rule that no character is dead until you see their body and even then, not necessarily. She does not die until the very last 5 chapters of the second series.
Not really, it's not really focused on 1v1 battles, but not focused on 1 vs 100 battles either like in Dynasty Warriors It's really a genre of it's own IMO It's really fun though! Just wish you could do Team Deathmatch or Points with bots, but at least you can do the story mode with your custom character and Survival

1.Disagree.

By the by, a spelling mistake (i.e wrong words or words spelled wrong) are apart of grammar, and thus is a grammar mistake.
I mean, I could also just click your name and copy and paste a plethora of spelling errors and typos, but that would be tedious and your attempt to, show me up....for a lack of a better term, has enough grammar mistakes to prove my point.
Don't even have to lmao
To anyone who may open the game and find that it is in chinese, all you have to do is go to the game's folder, open SteamConfig.ini and change "Language = tchinese" to "Language = english" c:
Out of thousands anime I've watched, this series is the worst, I'd rather watch a snail running full length marathon
That's strange, I couldn't even find the part where I talk about the manga, let alone where I trash the manga
There's plenty of worse series with significantly worse plot holes
The reason I hate first two season is ryze(?) plothole and asspull, and if you who enjoy the first couple season say the last season is unwatchably bad and made no sense, I glad I drop this show long time ago
And also asspull like the MC hair turn into white and he's become stronger than anyone on season 1, then on season 2 the MC become wuss again
I dont care for spoiler for TG, so would you please kindly tell me how and why she didn't die but not surfacing AFAIK till the end of season 2?
She and the MC are pretty much the living testament to asspulls. It pretty much became the rule that no character is dead until you see their body and even then, not necessarily. She does not die until the very last 5 chapters of the second series.
Tag team like 4clover/shinobi strike?
It's really a genre of it's own IMO
It's really fun though! Just wish you could do Team Deathmatch or Points with bots, but at least you can do the story mode with your custom character and Survival
