For anyone getting an error, do the following: Download all game parts > Extract part 1 > EXTRACT with WINRAR the .ISO file > Run the setup.exe That should fix it.

That being said, game journalists and the like, including myself, have found a bug where, though every single bit of the story is changed by constant choices that ACTUALLY affect the story AND Blacksad himself, one of the events can lead you to a basement which introduces timed challenges to you, in which you must find and switch on a light before your pocket lighter runs out. There's no button prompt on the light like there is for literally every other object in the game. Rendering John Blacksad trapped in the basement forever. From what I understand, this is to be patched soon, or it's already patched and this copy just needs an update. I do recommend you give the game a shot. maybe a bit too late, but i was also confused. the thing is that (for controller at least) you can move the right joystick and that changes the height at which he is holding his lighter. then you can find a flashlight in the shelf to progess the story
If you are clueless, this game is based in a comic of the same name. This game is not aimed to the furries specifically even after the nudity tag. This game is not porn. so it's safe if you don't like that kind of games. Thumb up this game.
