Planet Zoo says that I am online, so I should be able to connect to the Franchise game mode. This bug should be fixed. I have read multiple complaints by other people that this bug was there since Planet Zoo was released in November 2019, and ever since the bug was never fixed.
Hey guys. If you're having trouble like after you launch the game and after that you ended up crashing. Well i think the WINDOWS REAL TIME PROTECTION is the causing the problem. Because this antivirus is deleting the cracked that you've already pasted in your game. you can retrieved it by going to windows update, next go to windows security, go to Virus and Threats protection and then go to virus protection setting turn off all of them and then go back to the protection history you can locate that near the QUICK SCAN Botton then go find the virus that windows was talking about the click the severe? i dont even remember what's the exact word tho. after the pop up shows up click yes then read if that files was named with PLANET ZOO on it. then click restore and that's it you can play it again xD Sorry for me english im not good with it i just want to help you guys out. Coz i know how it feels when your game is going to crash and crash all over again.
Right now they are trying to break through what protects the game from being cracked. For every update they have to break through it again and the first time it took a few months. So the answer is because it is not yet available.
Thanks for answering and notifying me about future updates. Me as well, was certain and sure that the developers would update Planet Zoo. In this build, there are some bugs with staff members being idle. I hope that gets patched and fixed in the next Planet Zoo update.
Please help, The game always crashes and tells me to send error report instantly after I open it. It says something about the pc driver at first, although my PC already has the minimum system requirement...
Thank you. I checked it but it's up-to-date already. Now when I double-click the app, it runs but only for a while (I track it from task manager). I also don't see anything pops out. After few seconds, the "crash reporter" appears again T_T
I need help. I downloaded DAEMON, but this game did not come with a .ios file or cracked, or I just cant find them. This is all I got, and it only opens steam window to tell me to buy. I have no clue how to crack it, I dont see any files called "crack" or anything.
This version of Planet Zoo is "cracked." In pirating terminology 'cracked' and 'unlocked' are two different things. Unlocked means the files are available for download but still has the copy-protection or DRM in place and cannot be played. Cracked means the protection has been broken and the game is playable, but more often than not does not, nor will ever include multiplayer, or online features. "Unlocked" but "Uncracked" games are released in order to allow people time to download large games in advance of a crack being released to save time and server strain from everyone downloading the files all at the same time as soon as the crack is released.

That's because this wasn't cracked by Codex, it was Empress. When you installed the game it should have copied the crack over, but if it didn't the process is same as it is with Codex.

after excluding EMP.dll from my anti-virus it almost worked... i think it only had a few moments of a different mouse cursor(which i believe is the cursor of planet zoo) then sent me to the crash reporter
Crack works flawlessly. A year ago I bought Planet Coaster and found it to be too overwhelming, so I'm glad I can finally try this crack before I make the same mistake again.
go to the codex file and copy everything then go to your desktop and rightclick the planet zoo icon and click open file location and then paste, it should work
Anti-Virus don't detect a Trojan, juste suspicious, is not same. Anti-Virus don't like somes methods of crack and they say it's can be a virus. You anti virus is useless, if people wan't hack you they make virus invisible, is easy, not need be smart, just be logic ... My anti virus is me.
Does it have all of the DLCs? I caved in last year and bought the game, but i honestly don't want to pay for the DLCs since i heard from a lot of my friends that it's not worth it and i want to see for myself without spending any more money.
IDK if this will help anyone, but offering up a solution that worked for me. I downloaded the game and applied the crack. It didn't load up at first and I had to 1) update my graphics drivers, 2) change my DPI settings, and 3) run as administrator before it would work. Then I played it on and off for 2 days (enough to get through the tutorial and first career mission), then it stopped working and I got an error code each time i tried to launch it. "Planet Zoo Error Status: 88500000" I changed the steam.api64 settings, and updated my graphics drivers again, but it still didn't work. Frustrated I returned everything to how it was when I dowloaded it (steam.api64 back to original settings, DPI settings back to normal), when I launched it, it still gave me the error code. Then i tried running it WITHOUT admin rights (not as administrator) and now it works fine. It has done for over a week. I had to run it with admin rights to get it to start at first, now if i run it with admin rights it won't work. IDK why stopping admin rights worked for me, IDK when it will stop working again, but if this helps anyone then - you're welcome.

There is the option to apply the crack when you install the game. Otherwise, find the crack folder in the installation folder, copy and paste the crack files to your game folder. If you cannot find the crack folder, make sure to turn off the antivirus.
Only Problem with that game. First time start. Next time dont running. Changing Api64.dll runs, then next time not. A day later game runs, but next start not and EMP.dll deleted from alone, even if i copy them again in the folder. Whats wrong with that game?! Who cracked his.......

Yo, had same issue, did everything in steps, (just to be sure, but game started working after I changed steam.api64 as per pic). Then I copied old save to new local save and again same error. So I deleted emp.bin file under main folder of offline storage and game started working still with saved game from previous appdata location.
All with solution problems with Planet ZOO i can help with that 5 Steps. on my system it is running now: System Ryzen 2600. ROG GTX 1060, ASROCK Steel Legend MB. Corsair Ram Follow my instructions. Step one: Install newest Grapic Driver. Step 2: Open „steam.api64“ in Line (LocalSave = 1 must be there but if u open the file first time there is 0. One is for: Save on Harddisk– 0 is for Cloud, but we are offline bec. cracked game. Write there 1 Second: In Line (EnableControllerSupport = 0) of steam.api64 file is at the first start 1 but we are offline, write 0. Now safe changes. Step 3: Go to Planet Zoo start Icon (Desktop or Game Folder) open Properties, compatibility to Win 7 and then High DPI settings and set booth Options (Programm DPI and High DPI Scale Overwrite) Step 4: EMP.dll could be deleted by antivir if u not shut it off or give ur ok to ignore warnings of antivir for the game. If EMP.dll is deleted u will find an Empress file on ur Virtual disk, copy it if old EMP.dll is delted by Antivir. Now the game should run. Have fun and let me know if it works or not !
But dont be happy to early. I played now 2 hours and closed game. If i want start again, same error. I tested a lot and at last i deleted my saves then it runs again. There is a troubleshooter with the offline Save Folder etc. If it dont start again take out your save game and try to start again if it works then the savegames made problems....if i know more then i write it here
mind sending me steam_api64.dll when following you instructions i made the change in .dll instead of .ini since u didnt specify . then i tried to revert the change . but it keeps throwing same error telling me the .dll was not made for this computer ( i think i shouldnt have changed it )
Don't think graphics drivers are the problem here... When I first downloaded it, it wouldn't start. I updated all my drivers (including graphics) and it worked great for 2 days after that. Then on the second day I saved a zoo and closed it for a few hours, then tried reopening it a little while later and it just throws up this error message now. My drivers were all up to date, been checking back here once a day to see if anyone can resolve this issue. I updated my graphics driver again today (new update came out yesterday) and tried it again just in case. Still no dice. :/ I don't understand why it would work for a short period, then stop when there have been no changes to the system.
Try reinstalling or installing newest Directx update.DO NOT download the dll. Or, google the name of each dll file, usually it tells you to what version of directx corresponds to.

Kaspersky detected crack as a trojan. Others have already talked about this, but I'm pretty sure it's a false alarm. Game works without any problems and PC hasn't died yet, so I'm happy.

Not all DLC, but some. I know it is missing the Australia DLC for sure...idk which others are missing. Hopefully since the Denuvo is cracked finally the DLCs will be easier to come by.
Mine crashed at first and second try but able to launch after changing the compatibility setting. 1- ricght-click shortcut>properties navigate to compatibility tab 2- check "run this program in compatibility mode for" windows 7 3- check "run this program as an administrator" 4- go to "change high DPI settings" 5- check "Use this setting to fix blah blah..." and "Override high DPI blah blah.." 6- click "ok" and "apply" It works for me so far dunno with you guys
This game reminds me of Zoo Tycoon Ultimate Animal Collection except that one is playable using gamepad. Though the gameplay is less fun compare to this IMO
Yeah, the create copy in google drive trick doesn't work anymore. Someone else found another way, by adding into "Starred" and creating copy>download. Worked previously but doesn't seem to work for me just now..
After 3 hours of searching and trying I finally found the solution to make the game work ! You need to have the latest drivers of your graphic card. To do so , you need to download geforce experience and installe it, if you have a NVIDIA geforce GPU, it gives you the latest update, don't waste time trying other ways. Work 100% !
They had crack other Denuvo games in the past but they have a lot of time to crack a Denuvo game only the star wars 3dperson shooter a few months ago. There are a dozen of games with D a large number so lets wait and see if this time they starting to crack it more often...

Thank God finally after like 1 year or a lot of months a D games is broken and i think that last game was Star Wars the 3D person shooter. This game is taking so long to get cracked that I almost gave in to the idea of just purchasing it instead... but then I remembered I would also have to pay for dozens of DLCs to get the full experience. I don't care about cosmetics and other optional stuff but I know they are going to gate animals behind a pay wall, and animals matter in this game. These are the same developers from Planet Coaster so that's a guarantee. No thanks, I'll wait for the crack even if it takes a whole year. I don't mind buying the occasional game if I like it enough (and my wallet allows it) but games like these are getting pirated.

I think you might have to reinstall it; the crack file isn't in the game files yet, so you'd most likely have to. I don't think you can download the crack file separately unfortunately.

There's no crack file yet, in laymen terms a replacement for the planetzoo.exe. The game is still not available to play until a "Crack" file(s) is completed. You just have to wait patiently and they'll update it.
oh also to add, this was game very well made in my experience, the steam workshop support mean you can get so much more out of this game as ppl constantly add new things you can build and blueprints, it will be worth the wait so hang in there guys

don't worry friend, i live in a third world country too so i understand the pain, literally took everything i had to get this game I'm not an expert with specs but my PC is fairly potato by today's standard Intel Core i3-4170 CPU @ 3.70Ghz (4Cpus) 8 GB RAM Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti I'm playing at high and its pretty smooth and stable until your park start growing in size, lol, it starts lagging quite a bit after i reach 1000 tourists appear on screen at the same time
i bought it too and i love every minute of it. if you start playing, i suggest to start with career because it helps you to get used to the game, and it makes it much easier to figure it out. I had very few bugs as well tbh they were really funny, so i wasn't even mad.
oh and if you play in franchise mode (which is the main game's mode) you can trade with other ppl for their animals and their breeds, i still haven't figured how to breed a good animals, but albinos lol
yep its a pretty solid game, hardly any bug so its worth the money... but given its price i would recommend you to get it during a sale at least :p if you are like me who likes playing with challenge instead of sandbox, then the game is a pretty hard learning curve, especially since it simulate a lot of aspect of building a zoo and taking care of your animals the community events also add a lot of things you can do while waiting for money to come in too so its a hell lot of fun!

There's no such thing as concrete release dates when it comes to Denuvo games. The scene groups work at their own pace and that means a crack could out next week, next month, next year, or never at all. Nobody knows. Denuvo isn't meant to stop piracy, only to slow it down. When a popular game takes too long to get cracked people start to get impatient, meaning those who can afford it are more likely to cave in and just purchase it instead. That's exactly what the developers were hoping to accomplish when they hired this company. And from what I've seen on CrackWatch, it works.

You can actually know that without running any game. Just search "Can you run it" on google from System Requeriments Lab, it analyses your computer components and tell you if you can or cannot run a specific game and why (component that has to be improved). Also, you can check the computer components you have lol

Having the cracked game would allow users and other players to at least be able to play and experience the game for the first time. It would also allow those players to see if they would end up buying the full game for obvious updates, DLC, etc, or if they would rather keep the cracked version and just solemnly use it for fun.
Ok and sorry to say but a lot of games don't get Demos. I don't recall Planet Zoo getting a Demo and quite frankly, every game should have a Demo that is permanent, not temporary because not all users will be able to play. I was not able to play the Demo and watching videos only does so much.

i read a little about denuvo: so this is something for protect the game about the crack (you know that i suppose) but it protect it for 2 month aproximatly ( they said that 99% of the sales of a game is on the first 2 month so they do their job) so we will have the crack at christmas probably. sorry for my english but im french so i can't talk english very well obviously ;)
It all depends which version of Denuvo they use, the Anno game is using the newest one on top of another DRM Ubisoft uses, think it starts with VR something , and they do that with all their new games. Thankfully Far Cry 3 and Black Flag don't have Denuvo.

Looks promising but even if it was cracked now I'd still wait for a few patches. There are some glaring issues with this game; time goes by too fast, even on the lowest speed (3 secs IRL = a day in-game), the UI is wonky and unresponsive, buggy zookeepers that let animals starve, messed up economy, etc. Also, the Campaign mode is a joke and kind of broken (seems to be a trend with Frontier Games?). All of this according to what I've read on the forums. Which is a shame. From what I've seen, most people seem to agree that this is the best zoo game to release since Zoo Tycoon 2 but it has to be fixed first.

The point of an "Unlocked" game is to get the files beforehand. Some people have slow internet speeds so being able to get those files before the "traffic" hits for real, can be a boon. It's like leaving earlier to work or school in order to avoid a traffic jam. After that, all you need is the crack (which can be downloaded independently). A lot of people dis "Unlocked" games because they don't understand this. (Not saying it's your case.)
No, I live in America (Missouri to be more exact) but, the file kept deciding to fail several times so when I came back to my computer I had to redo it. So, in reality it still would've taken about 8 hours to download them both anyways. I also just have a crap computer so that could add to it

Look, the technical term of "Full Unlock" Means that you can access the files, it's a term used in pirating when the Crack is not available yet. The game uses Denuvo, which is DRM, and well known for it's difficulty to be cracked. File sharing sights like Mega end up taking down the uploads by IGG games when the crack is out. Meaning the purpose of uploading it now allows people to get their hands on the files, before they get taken down. Do your research, it's not hard.
This is a technical term from the pirate world - "FULL UNLOCKED" is secret talk for "GAME FILES BUT NO CRACK YET". It's pretty recent though - 10 or so years. Or is it 15 ? Can't remember. Anyway, if you can't be bothered to learn new technical stuff you could just read the HUGE banner saying "GAME FILES ONLY, THIS GAME IS NOT CRACKED YET!". No secret double entendre here. seems a little redundant to upload the game before a crack is available It's just part of the process on these sites - every time there is a big release and the crack is in the works they do that.
If the crack is not available right at release they upload the "UNLOCKED FILES" - basically the game files "as is" with no modification and NO CRACK either. And then when the proper scene release comes out they usually release new game files - with an added "scene installer" from the group that cracked it - and sometimes the crack as a standalone as well.
It's part of the whole "cracking scene" dance. They always do that - every site does it - and will continue to do so. It's like - "Look we have the files already ! So the crack is just around the corner!" Pretty useless for the average user though, you are right, and especially since usually (but not always) when the crack comes out there is a new game file - usually an iso or an installer. But you can sometimes get these game files before the crack and then apply the crack on top. Some kind of pre-order cracking service if you will. And the people asking about this are also part of the dance my friend !

I downloaded the game and applied the crack. It didn't load up at first and I had to 1) update my graphics drivers, 2) change my DPI settings, and 3) run as administrator before it would work.
Then I played it on and off for 2 days (enough to get through the tutorial and first career mission), then it stopped working and I got an error code each time i tried to launch it. "Planet Zoo Error Status: 88500000"
I changed the steam.api64 settings, and updated my graphics drivers again, but it still didn't work.
Frustrated I returned everything to how it was when I dowloaded it (steam.api64 back to original settings, DPI settings back to normal), when I launched it, it still gave me the error code.
Then i tried running it WITHOUT admin rights (not as administrator) and now it works fine. It has done for over a week.
I had to run it with admin rights to get it to start at first, now if i run it with admin rights it won't work.
IDK why stopping admin rights worked for me, IDK when it will stop working again, but if this helps anyone then - you're welcome.

Follow my instructions.
Step one: Install newest Grapic Driver.

for Cloud, but we are offline bec. cracked game. Write there 1
Second:
In Line (EnableControllerSupport = 0) of steam.api64 file is at the
first start 1 but we are offline, write 0. Now safe changes.
Step
3: Go to Planet Zoo start Icon (Desktop or Game Folder) open Properties,
compatibility to Win 7 and then High DPI settings and set booth Options
(Programm DPI and High DPI Scale Overwrite)
Step 4: EMP.dll could
be deleted by antivir if u not shut it off or give ur ok to ignore
warnings of antivir for the game. If EMP.dll is deleted u will find an
Empress file on ur Virtual disk, copy it if old EMP.dll is delted by
Antivir.
Now the game should run. Have fun and let me know if it works or not

When I first downloaded it, it wouldn't start. I updated all my drivers (including graphics) and it worked great for 2 days after that.
Then on the second day I saved a zoo and closed it for a few hours, then tried reopening it a little while later and it just throws up this error message now.
My drivers were all up to date, been checking back here once a day to see if anyone can resolve this issue. I updated my graphics driver again today (new update came out yesterday) and tried it again just in case. Still no dice. :/

So. I do anything I know. but THIS text always show on my desktop and i can't play the game. :(
1- ricght-click shortcut>properties navigate to compatibility tab
2- check "run this program in compatibility mode for" windows 7
3- check "run this program as an administrator"
4- go to "change high DPI settings"
5- check "Use this setting to fix blah blah..." and "Override high DPI blah blah.."
6- click "ok" and "apply"

if you are like me who likes playing with challenge instead of sandbox, then the game is a pretty hard learning curve, especially since it simulate a lot of aspect of building a zoo and taking care of your animals
the community events also add a lot of things you can do while waiting for money to come in too so its a hell lot of fun!

Denuvo isn't meant to stop piracy, only to slow it down. When a popular game takes too long to get cracked people start to get impatient, meaning those who can afford it are more likely to cave in and just purchase it instead. That's exactly what the developers were hoping to accomplish when they hired this company.
And from what I've seen on CrackWatch, it works.

The game uses Denuvo, which is DRM, and well known for it's difficulty to be cracked.
File sharing sights like Mega end up taking down the uploads by IGG games when the crack is out. Meaning the purpose of uploading it now allows people to get their hands on the files, before they get taken down.
Do your research, it's not hard.
Anyway, if you can't be bothered to learn new technical stuff you could just read the HUGE banner saying "GAME FILES ONLY, THIS GAME IS NOT CRACKED YET!". No secret double entendre here. Plain english.

seems a little redundant to upload the game before a crack is available though.
It's just part of the process on these sites - every time there is a big release and the crack is in the works they do that.
And then when the proper scene release comes out they usually release new game files - with an added "scene installer" from the group that cracked it - and sometimes the crack as a standalone as well.
They always do that - every site does it - and will continue to do so.
It's like - "Look we have the files already ! So the crack is just around the corner!"
Pretty useless for the average user though, you are right, and especially since usually (but not always) when the crack comes out there is a new game file - usually an iso or an installer.
But you can sometimes get these game files before the crack and then apply the crack on top. Some kind of pre-order cracking service if you will.
And the people asking about this are also part of the dance my friend !
