ok is the current download parts 1 and 2 a higher version then the update 2.6.1 below? Anyone know? I dont want to download and install a version that is older. I've noticed that a lot on IGG that a lot of the times they never remove the updates that are older then the downloads in the drives.
An actual review from someone who played the whole campaign and some scenarios and downloaded the latest version of Pets & Pests here: Pros: -The game can be replayed many times and never get bored of it. -Fun and challenging. -It's a mixture of Politics and Society blinding into and RPG Management Sims game. -Updated frequently and it's got massively better from when the game first released. Cons: -A lot of bugs that can be workaround or till you get used to them, still playable tho. -Lack of some QoL features that exist in similar games. -Even with tutorial, some stuff are unclear and you'll have to discover them with trial & error. -Game is too graphical when it comes to nudity even with censored version marked, and you can't avoid the nudity part later in campaign and in some scenarios. Despite all this, the game is one of the most memorable for me and it has one of the most enjoyable campaigns that keep you interesting for the plot more than what you do. Characters are so well developed and you'll have to choose whom you ally with, whom you betray, and whom you gonna prefer to keep as enemies. Known solutions to some encountered bugs: -Make all the doors before placing objects in the rooms to avoid employees getting stuck sometimes. -Each object requires a specific empty space in front of it, not knowing it will cause bugs and getting stuck later on. -When you want to send adventurers on quests, do so once even if they didn't go there, repeating that command will bug your game and even corrupt your upcoming saves. -Don't put small objects such as vases, candles, and pots in a corner where employees usually pass in where it was before, they'll get stuck -Don't delete rooms on upper floors to fix rooms down below, it's better that way rather than encountering bugs where you can't place objects in the rooms that you rebuilt. Last thing I wanna say, you stuck with your Inn design in the late game so if you don't design it well with having in mind how it would be in the future, you'll be forced to replay it again, design, matters the most.
so im already installing the update from 1.02 ; 2.0 ; 2.02 ; 2.05. but why i cant install 2.3.1 update? they say project.bin is missing. did i miss something? thnx
The 2.4.0 update has a major bug that will make all your workers start smoking despite not having the smoking trait. The dev released a hotfix after. So do not install update 2.4.0 until a scene group release the hotfix.
Just fyi for those downloading the main download does seem to be the correct (as of typing this) ver. 2.1 (though idk if that includes hotfix assume so) so no need to grab the updates as usual (and as others pointed out the .9 is a typo that doesn't even exist yet)
I dont know i couldnt get this to work past version 2.02 so i got it from another site and on the other site the version says 2.7 but when you play the game it is actually version 2.0.8! So that is probably the same as what it is here if you were able to get the file to work! Anyway good luck!
I installed 1st version it went just fine same with 1.02 i get to 2.0 it just sits there waited over an hour and half for it to finish I tried to play the game and i got nothing but errors and a big ole crash! So i saw the time and yup! It was uninstall time! deep sixed the whole mess! From what i see and read This game should not have been released yet! The game doesn't even work right or play right so many bugs and errors seems to me the devs are greedy for dat money! Willing to push out a barely working game,That's why i'm so glad we have igg-games so we dont get stuck buying unfinished garbage games! I ended up reinstalling it and will just update until the bugs and errors are all worked out
If you do find it, please do tell. I've been looking too, I think it may be a case of nobody cracking the newest update at all yet. It seems to need a new crack every update after all.
download 1.0.2 update, un-archive it and double click on update and run the setup or update.exe. click on copy crack contents and hit install. repeat until the newest version
It has promises but I will wait for more updates before trying it again but I will try to finish the tutorial at least to see if there is a management UI for the staff.
The campaign mode is unplayable, after the annoying stage of the soldiers (full of bugs), in the next stage of the game when you unlock the nobles, the game crashing after a few minutes. This is currently happening in version 2.0.2
Update 1.0.2 took about 30 minutes to finish, but 2.0 went on for 5 hours. It didn't finish after 5 hours though, I had to cancel it because I would have slept very late in the night if I waited for it. Edit: 8 hours ago, I tried to update with 2.0, but during about 7 hours waiting for it, I pressed the pause button by accident. It then gave me an error. So, yeah. Fun times were had.
Damn its so frustrating to play this! There are so many bugs! And some game mechanicsdoesn't WORK! I'm stuck in the DEBT SPREE! I'm cycling through 3 lenders and paying my debt by borrowing!
beside the fact that its never good paying deb with other loans and stuff, its obvious that the game has still buggs, if u follow the devs u will see what they are doing atm to get clearence about your problems ingame
Yeah! IT IS! I was stuck on that kind of vicious debt cycle ever since THE COMMANDER QUEST and HIS LOOTING SOLDIERS costing me no profits at all! I shouldn't have gone too fast with the story line. Right now, I have restarted over again, trying to save at least 100,000 G LOL BTW, need to watched out for those objects that hinders AI movement and food queues since it trigger bugs on me. Now I'm losing mugs and having more plates magically!

Update 2.0 takes an awful long time to install, If it looks stuck don't fret, It will eventually install. It took about half an hour to apply for me, Might take less or longer for you depending on your machine. Any problems drop a comment in the F.A.Q.
I don't remember it took that long.. No really i think this is the first time an update takes this long to apply for me, Even Doom's 30gb update didn't take half an hour.

Can we PLEASE get a version without the patches separate?! They are horrible to install. I don't know if it the game's fault,the coding or my pc's they take far too long to do! Also to the moderation team this is not a request for a game , it's more of a question of possibility. You know just reinstall with a different folder name or directory don't put any crack files on it and just save as a backup! later when a new updates come up just copy, paste and overwrite or even delete the old and paste the new one then update!
Hello, No it is not possible, Some games come with seperate updates others require the whole game redownloaded again, The majority would rather small updates as it takes less time to download.

Game is bit a buggy with messed up path finding if playing is 2x speed. Also idk for some reason I wasn't able to play tax and always saying i didn't had enough money even after I took load to just pay the tax. And at last i had to give up and end the game. I think the campaign mode is a but buggy. But all in all this game is very unique and too many options to explore.
I installed successfully (even if after long waiting time) 1.02, but I can't install 2.0... It was installing more than 24 hours before I canceled it, redownloaded all files, and tried to install again - but it's the same. For now I'm cancelling it, because it's installing since more than 48 hours and every time it's stuck on: "Waiting for Input... Crossroads Inn.exe Bin\Project.pak.cdx_diff Scanning files... Project.pak.cdx_newfile"
It does takes quite a lot time. For me it took a bit more then an hour. I did a fresh install of the whole game too thinking that I did something wrong
Yeah, I know updating can take a lot of time (speaking from experience with other games) but 48+ hours and still nothing... I tried 3 times, every time in another installation path, and everytime re-downloading files. And I just can't update to 2.0. I tried even on the admin account and in the safe mode...
You saying that worries me. I tried leaving it up while i was sleeping and didn't go through... Tried again today for like 2 hours again didn't seem to work. 1.0.2 worked within half an hour. I am truly baffled why these patches are so badly packed(?) or what to need so much time for 200 mb worth of content....
Is any of these version a 2.0 (or at any current one at the moment)? The 1.0.2 update patch takes way too long to install rendering my pc almost unusable for the duration( i've gone for 30 minutes before stopping it). Downloading a fuller version seems easier compared to the hour some said it takes for each of the two.

might be just me, but in the campaing, in "act 2", aka after rockburry, my game always crashes after finnishing the "build guestroom" quest. That didnt happen to me in previous versions. Anyone else who got that problem ?

you don't need to put the update folder inside the game directory. Just install the update to the game directory which is 'C:\Games\Crossroads Inn' in your case.
and you need to v1.0.2 first, before getting the v2.0. IGG always link the base game to their download links, means v1.0, and then put the updates below it. In case of another update in the future, you don't need to download the whole game again. Just get the updates.

first you need to install patch 1.2, and crack it and then continue patch 2.0 and crack .... it will probably take a long time to finish patch 2.0. it's normal, let it finish
the thing is that the game was working fine on my pc when i had win10 but when i switched it to win7 or because i upgradeded my gpu in the process it stopped working
For some reason I can't play the game it's says x3daudio is missing. I thought it was my computer, so I search everywhere and everything was fine, I can play many other games from the sims to cities skylines. Don't know why this one doesn't want to work.
Don't download this game ... it's look good at the beginning, the idea is good ... but only to find a lot of game breaking bugs and stupid/failed game design later. You'll see a lot of stress & nut cases like 20 NPC just stuck behind a door, or impossible to edit ground floor design, because the game disallow deleting a room that have a top floor above them.
about bugs: its just got realeased and had alpha a weak ago, so far its since 26.10 in 1.2 and many bugs were fixed already. just give it some time until its completly fixed. U can check steam for infos about the current status and what already has been fixed

i would say yes. It includes sorta nudity, some violence and also is quite a thing to learn properly. After all its already a bit complex ^^. hope that helps

they usually change the title to include the version once it is updated. Alternatively you can check at the request page and the link will have an (updated) instead of (uploaded) tag along with the current version.

It shouldn't be a release version, it's terribly buggy but that's what you get with crappy games funded through Kickstarter. Once the money gained from the gullible people who kick-started it then they throw it out in whatever shitty state they're in at that time.
Also, I urge everyone to check out the novel "The Wandering Inn". It's an awesome LitRPG novel. Imo, it's only third to LOTR series and The Malazan Book of the Fallen series.
