Does this game have anti-piracy measures? So when i played this game and get to a certain part of the game, i saved and shut off my game. and when i opened and tried to load the game it did load but there's this dialouge saying about "Cross-section" or something similar then i got sent to the place where i fought the 1st boss and can't leave the room. Is this some kind of anti-piracy measures that the game had? how can i fix this?
It was "Book of Shadows" and no, they did a trilogy of the first series but never called any of them 2. This is the first sequel to the first series and is set in an entirely new environment and story, though hear some characters come back.
Yes, brother. Mostly steam system requirements lie or fake. Because steam wants high end pc gamers and always increase spec. This game also run well on my old Dell notebook 60 fps. LOL
This is a bit off topic, considering J-Horror games are discussed here. Does anybody know if there is an (Junji Ito's) Uzumaki game out there, or something closely similar to it? I've been looking though to no avail there doesn't seem to be any.

Take a look at "Grotesque Beauty" on Steam. It's a VN in the vein of Junji Ito's works. I requested it a few times here but it never got uploaded and the biggest VN website I used to know got shut down recently (ErogeVN) so we're damn out of luck.

Last year I was more open minded with buying Death Mark and blindly playing through it. That was the last time I wanted to spend money on a VN. I liked the idea of an anthology setup in a horror game, but overall not my cup of tea I suppose.

hyelp when i was playing blood drive after the female student gets killed in her room its just a blackscreen and nothing else in chapter 00 i posted here so that people can try to help me i searched google no luck i tried asking at blood drive no luck
Maybe the next chapters wont take AS long to come out. I think this one took that long due to internal turmoil in Team GrisGris, who's members disbanded and some of them then made the team behind this one
Book Of Shadows was plain and simply BORING. It was, for the most part, a re thread of the first game, doing things all over again that you already did, replaying events that, yes end differently, but are the same events from the first game and lacked the gameplay elements that the first game and BD had(The actual moving the characters around, etc etc)
I had literal nightmares when Seiko got fucking hanged in the toilet in the original. Now ever single time I go to a toilet with stalls I intinctively look at the ceiling on top of the stalls.
Yeah it was pretty gruesome. And it wasn't even the most gruesome death in that game. Though i kinda of have to give Book Of Shadows credit for making her death in that game...even worse in my opinion

Because Blood Drive is the Sequel for Corpse Party - And Seiko did not become a Malevolent Spirit iirc . or maybe they are in a seperate instance of Nirvana

The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem
