i am very confused, it says "steam must be running in order to launch borderlands 2 vr" while steam is running, pls help; if you have a solution to this problem
Not sure if you'll see this, but inside of the iso, there are steam_api files, and steam_emu files. Copy them into your install folder, and the game should run.
can someone tell me how to make it work on rift s, cause it doesnt shows up in the headset, only on the pc screen, also added it to steam, and to the vr library but for some reason steam doesnt runs it
I tried to play it but there is no sound, but when I open the steam overlay there is sound, then I go back to game and no sound. (I'm using Oculus rift s)
just so you all know this vr mod created by a college kid given license by a company to resell a decade old game IS INFACT WORKING ON WINDOWS 7 DESPITE WHAT THE DESCRIPTION SAYS hha what a joke.
Game will not load in my headset no matter what I've tried. I've tried redownloading Oculus and Steam VR. Redownloading the game. All cracks. OpenCompisite, setting the target as Enable HMD1 and anything else possible. Game will only load on my laptop screen and react to head and controller movement but will stay in the Oculus white loading screen in the headset. CV1
That game is total mess... its even worst than Fallout VR. You just dont feel like you are in virtual 3D world. Like, you watching it on some 2D video arround you - not like you really are in it. Its hard to explain... maybe some patch or new update will fix that, I dont know...
This version works fine on oculus but not vive or index. The official version has been patched already. An easy way to get it to work for the oculus at least is what im using, find the "Borderlands2VR.exe" then create a shortcut, afterwards on the shortcut open its properties and in target, add " -HmdEnable 1". It should look something like this: "D:\Borderlands.2.VR\Borderlands 2 VR\Binaries\Win64\Borderlands2VR.exe" -HmdEnable 1 and I hope it works and if it does, have fun! :)

It's happening for me also even with steam vr open. Any ideas what is happening as its tracking my headset on my laptop monitor but it just stays loading in the headset
I should have other game because for me the game work excelent. i have oddyssey plus and let me put the supersampling to 250...and its look wonderfull, its a great game, so much fun
Well the normal Non-VR version on PS4 Pro was by FAR the WORST Co-Op game me & my girls have played in our lives! So I hope this VR version is more interesting, it really does NOT seem like the kind of game for VR as almost the whole game is just looting, CONSTANTLY, just to find a few dollars & shitty weapons that are 100X worse than your starting gun, lets Hope the VR version has some MAJOR changes because if its a "Great" game like you claim then they MUST have changed a hell of a lot to make this VR version not repetitive, boring crap....
I know right! So many wankers recommended Borderlands 2 to me and my friend as a great Co-Op game to play split screen on the PS4 Pro (only bought a PS4 Pro for Red Dead Redemption 2 & still havent played it, lol, as Im a PC gamer) we played B2 for 2 hours & it was horrible! all those clueless idiots that highly recommended it apparently dont know anything about great games! 60% of the time we were looting every container just to NEVER come close to finding a single weapon that was even half as good as out starting gun & looting was constant which was hell & soooo boring, & the other 40% of our time was trying to figure out which damn objective we were supposed to go to & where it was as it doesnt tell u which was a story mission & which was a crappy, pointless mission. Honestly WORST Co-op game we have ever played & we have been gaming for over 25+ years! Glad someone else has common sense & knows what great games are, AKA the OPPOSITE of this crap.
How do you get this working? Its coming up "the code execution cannot proceed because steam_api64.dll was not found. I have a Rift and I have Oculus and Steam VR its not working on either
Cheers I downloaded torrent and now it opens on my monitor but it won't show in my oculus its just says loading but on my screen the game is up and running and reacts when I press buttons. Not sure how to get it working through oculus

Reviews are mixed I haven't had a problem with it like some of the others.. playing on a gtx 1080 with a regular rift and runs way better than my psvr copy especially the controls and graphics, what headset are y'all using?
This is, probably, the worst VR-adapted game I've ever played. Don't waste your time downloading it... I love borderlands, but this is a shitty conversion.
