People complaining in here as well as in Steam Reviews for poor optimization, crashes, can't save and all that... If you're capable of using basic functions that we all have, you will be able to read that it says "Janky Alpha Build" on the top left...
is this still poorly optimized? EVERY negative steam review talked about the shitty optimisation and even RWS said currently the game is not optimized yet
Just curious, is it like Postal 3, or I can actually enjoy it ? (and know it's alpha and all, just worried that the game might have the same fate like that ... thing)
there are cases like this where both party misunderstood a point... Some people would portray your question as a complain but also vice versa.. an example would be : Is the world beautiful? - Could be interpreted as complaining about ugly world but also could be interpreted as asking question to another person their opinion about the world I think it would be better if you word it like this : EVERY negative steam review talked about the shitty optimisation and even RWS said currently the game is not optimized yet, Is this actually true?
MikeJ said on the stream that someone (i think in rws but im not sure) had a tattoo which meant to say "no regrets", but he misspelled it and it said "no regerts"
If you love this game then i would suggest you [ Trepang2 ]. It still WIP and released 2020 but you can try a demo version :) . I would say it was best hardcore violence fps game, it similar like Postal just Trepang2 was tactical shooter but i won't say it better than postal 4, both of them is good for me.
This is very early version of game. Game development is based only on sales from steam so if you want to see this game in full potential pls consider buying it on steam even tho the current state of game. By doing that u help devs make the dream come true!
That's a stupid opinion. i get many games from here and a lot of which I only play like a few minutes or 10% of the content and lose interest. Those games dont earn my money. But I also buy many games that i enjoyed playing, part for easy install and updates and part to support the devs in hope for updates and future projects. The same way I will download music from youtube but when I like a band I spend a lot of money to see their show. Or like I download movies but go to cinema for the ones like.
It's more like going to someone who took water from the swimming pool so they could swim in their own bathtub and telling them that the local pool offers a superior experience and long term development for a small cost of entry. Sure you can swim at home in your bathroom if you want, water is water, but you won't be getting the best experience and the local pool won't get the support it needs to keep running so you can steal water from it.
i saw the game here, I get a lot of games from here but as a fan of the Postal series, I wanted to support this so I bought the game on steam. This will help them develop the game and it would be a lot easier to get updates
Uh, you will receive regular auto updates when you purchase it. If nobody buys it, there may be a chance it ends up a dead fish in a barrel, and we definitely don't want that. ;)
Don't download it yet. It's early access and full of bugs. It's more a development prototype than a real game. Though it will never be on the level of postal 2. It could be a fun game nonetheless for fans of postal. And it will also let fans have a better memory of the postal-series than the abortion we call postal 3.
If you didn't like it, just let it be. Postal is just a game. It already made for violence, already made for entertaining stuff that make people feeling entertained and enjoy. As well as people will love Trepang2 , another hardcore violence game coming soon :) Let just say, not everyone heart beat the same.
Also gameplay wise it's a very interesting idea I cant say I've ever seen implemented before. I mean how many games do you know where your mission is to get milk from the store, wait in line, and if you try to leave without paying the clerk attacks you, or if you go up stairs you find a bunch of terrorists. Yes if you examine only the subject matter, it's just a racist joke, but gameplay wise, it's actually pretty unique. Tecnically this gas station has it's own little lore, crude lore admittedly, but still lore. Most games just have you go to a shop buy an item and thats it. Most games just feel like games, but to me postal feels like a actual living world that you're apart of. Most of the fun of the game comes from how you choose to react to the environment around you. For example Gary Coleman being cornered by the police after he signs your autograph. You can just watch him get gunned down by cops or kill him yourself, or just go about your day. That's how most of the game works, crazy stuff happens around postal dude and you the player decides how to respond to a given situation. The game's world is a sandbox, and a unique one at that because of all the story being told in the sandbox, juvenile storytelling, but still storytelling. It's an immersive experience through and through. I'd argue Postal 2 is a very unique and interesting game based solely on the fact that on design level there's not much like it. You're not playing as Master Chief or The Chosen One, you're just a guy who has daily chores to go about, practically no different from any other NPC, the differance is in your defiance of these chores. Think of Postal Dude as NPC that just got tired of the BS and went postal, you the player are the insanity that comes into his life. The world of Postal is an insane one, and you the player must respond to it. STRUCTURALLY it's not far off from Papers, Please, because the crux of the gameplay comes from the players reaction and choices in the world around him.
Hopefully you are alone. Postal might be an immature, crude, poorly made series, but too me it's like Kids, Ken Park or Gummo (Harmony Korine films). It taps into something raw and real from the past. I dont get joy from pissing or shooting on people (infact I play rather passively), I get something from the world it takes place in. I would guess it has something to do with poverty. I cant really describe it, because after all I'm describing a feeling, but Postal 2 feels like growing up poor in a shitty town in middle america. Nothing but bitterness, cynicism, crude/malicious humor and trash. For me Postal feels like home.
According to Steam reviews, it's back to the roots of Postal 2, which is very good news. Downloading right away and can't wait to pee on people I set in fire!🤗 Am I sick?
She kinda reminds me of Propecia the crackwhore. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKFZoDZQtAM A very appropriate video on Postal 4 page.🤣 Too bad the whole video has been banned off Youtube, it was going too far.

RDR 2 pre-purchase : also exists
Me : I have failed you, Postal 4
It came out few days ago...
And dev say, they will do updates daily, don't expect that igg-games will upload a new one every day.
My one is the only one on this page.
But they should give updates ye? Every day haaa?
It still WIP and released 2020 but you can try a demo version :) .

VALVE is the biggest company (gaming), WHICH DONT NEED TO DEVELOP ANY GAMES ANYMORE.
But I also buy many games that i enjoyed playing, part for easy install and updates and part to support the devs in hope for updates and future projects.

Still very alpha version, but I think it'll be good in the end.
and they always sucked.
