Läuft doch. Du musst im Oculus erst mal dein AirLink oder OculusLink starten. Dort musst du dann auf den Desktop wechseln und dann in den Ordner mit der .exe navigieren. Diese dann starten und das Game läuft ohne Problem. Bei mir jedenfalls ;)
Hi everyone. I apologize in advance for my possible dumb question. I bought this game (Asgard's Wrath) on Oculus Store a few days ago. Installing it through the oculus Store is impossible due to internet connectivity problems (was on 71GB of the 80GB and it restarted from 0. Pausing the download cause also canceling of the download. Anyway, I downloaded it using utorrent. Now my question. How do I install it? Do I just unzip the game folder to the oculus game folder and start it with the oculus app or what? Many thanks.
You have to download Oculus app for your PC then connect it to your PC through "Device" and after u did it you go in the settings and then "beta" and there you have to enable Air Link and finally you are gonna connect to your pc through your Quest then just start the game on your pc and u r good to go

downloaded 100gb just for it to crash on the menu. Doesn't recognize any Oculus headset, i'm using revive and get this error. I was on an old version and managed to get into the "Look over here!" loading screen but crashes right away. I updated revive and now i'm back to the Oculus error. Revive games I have always had trouble with, idk how others have it working so effortlessly.
For those stuck in the calibration where it says: "raise your arms and press the right stick" Go to WrathGame, Binaries, Win64, drag: "WrathGame-Win64-Shipping" onto Revive.

For pimax, pp=off, do not start steam (or kill all processes), start pitool, start booth controllers (must be tracked, hmd also), and start game trough pitool. Oculus must be installed.
what does pp=off mean? Just got my pimax, having issues running oculus games in general tbh... any tips for other ones, ex. stormland, lone echo, etc.? Or is every1 a special case?
Can't even extract the whole thing... My winzip says "There is not enough space on the disk." Some of the files in this zip are just too big. The game's too big for being directly on my computer, and the drives don't like files over 4gb for dumb reasons, so I guess that was a waste of time. Why couldn't they make some of these files smaller?
No one else has this issue Peter. This is a proprietary issue with yourself. I can tell you that 7zip has a much better chance at opening these files than Winzip, although Winzip has no issues on my cpu. Even if you get the game running, there are issues with it (fatal error). Please read my comments about it below.
I wrote this because I (was?) not sure that Wrath crash because the latest Oculus/Steam updates. BEFORE (updates) never crashed.I thought crash only happened with the k versions 🙃
Steam updates every other week. Again, this game doesn't run on Steam. I know what you were trying to say, but its like comparing a crash in a game to your toaster not working.
You'll eventually get a fatal error in this game without the latest update. Played through a few hours of the game and now I get a "Fatal Error" popup when starting. Redownloaded the game and deleted all instances of it within my registry and same issue persists. Version 1.4 supposedly fixes this.....so waiting for an update.
Impossible terrible control on HTC Vive. The player either twitches, or he goes backwards, or does not walk at all. The touch panel has several functions on the same button. I do not understand ... I have an Oculus Rift S, I played this game before, but now I got a permanent black screen no loading, nothing. Does anyone know how to fix this, is anyone playing this game on oculus Rift S?
The current SteamVR beta is breaking the game. The game will exit with a fatal error. Roleback to release version (1.9.16) fixes the problem. Just opt out the beta in Steam and it will reinstall the release version. It is possible to make a copy of the SteamVR folder when version 1.9.6. is installed. Copy it elsewhere and run it from there before running Asgard's Wrath. This way you can revert back to the beta and use it while being able to play this game with the old SteamVR. I copied the Revive 1.9.1 DLLs into the game dir as described below and installed the 2.0.0 version for the new overlay afterwards and the game still works when I run SteamVR 1.9.6. before starting the game. I am using a Valve Index. [EDIT] With SteamVR beta 1.10.18 the issue is resolved.
Has anyone here purchased the game but was unable to download it through the rift store and used this to download the game instead? I've been emailing back and forth with Oculus support and it appears they have just abandoned me with this issue...
Did anybody finish the main quest line? I'm stuck at "Exiled to Jotunheim" where I have to find path to Utgard, after I destroyed the last sentinel. I teared down the whole section of the map and I'm unable to find correct ladder (apparently new ladder appears when you destroy the last sentinel). I have a suspicion that the crack is not working correctly.
It works absolutely gorgeous on my oculus rift on my amd ryzen 7 2700x with rx480. Just ectracted and played for 2 hours. no error encountered so far... Just make sute you have atleast about 10gb free space left on your pc...
FIX!! Cane only confirm this works for HTC VIVE. Copy and paste ALL the content from '\REVIVE 1.9.1\Revive\Revive\x64' in: Asgard's 'Wrath\WindowsNoEditor\WrathGame\Binaries\Win64'. And then Drag and Drop the "WrathGame-Win64-Shipping.exe" to "ReviveInjector.exe" then start the game and enjoy! Super fun VR game so far
Since then i managed to solve the issue. When I extracted the game files it didn't extract the exe file into Asgard.wrath>sanzaru-games-inc-wrath>windows no editor but only to the win64 folder. Hope I could help solving your problem
Anyone else having issues early on where it asks you to stretch out your arms and press thumbstick? It doesn't work for me and just crashes after a short time.
I have downloaded it twice, once from google drive, once from megaup, and i always get checksum errors on unpacking. Tried several unpacking programs like winrar, winace, 7zip, but it's always the same. Any idea?
Nice game but the control mapping is horrible on Vive. Too many virtual buttons, most of which are useless or could have been replaced by the triggers. I guess the person in charge with the mapping at Revive's never played the game. Anybody knows how to install a different mapping?
Nothing worked for me either, but I tried something else and it worked, I am using WMR samsung OD+.. What I did was use the revive injector in the x64 folder, itself. The one that just says fileinjector in there, not the one that says x64 in the name. That one didn't work. I copied the revive files into the win64 folder of asgard.. I then made sure the injector from the x64 folder was put in that same win64 folder so i can click and drag the winshipping64.exe onto Reviveinjector.exe. That worked for me. I did it to test how this game runs on WMR/OD+ . It looks like a cool game so ill probably buy it and support the company. If you can afford it don't be a cheapo cause no one does anything in this country without making money.. It's a greed place, it's all about money.. If you can't afford it then screw it.. But if you can afford it, it helps the industry.

sure... because of reasons like that we all are here... but especially for VR content keep in mind that the community is still small. So developers need to sell stuff to create better awesome stuff for the future of VR. If 50% of the community waits like you for a pirated game then they will create the game, see no one really buys it and then DONE.. so if we keep behave like you VR will never get its chance to fully shine. And btw. you dont need 10 new games every month... especially when we talk about Asgards Wrath here. Best what you have seen at VR so far, MANY hours to play easily enough for 1 month or more if you dont play 24/7. So keep all the people here in mind telling to support VR developers sometimes, so that we get new stuff like this game. And be sure I am not the richest guy too telling you all this now
all people here who download a game like this FOR FREE should NOT be meant to play VR anymore. VR can only grow if we support the developers by being an active community AND invest money so that they can grow and create new awesome stuff like this game. For sure, many VR games are really "overpriced". But a masterpiece like Asgards Wrath, a game which clearly shows the possbilities and ambitions of VR for the future, a game like this NEEDS to be supported and bought legally. And why? YES, to get new masterpieces like this in the future. So if you really need to.. take this as a TESTRUN since there is no demo available and if its fine BUY THE GAME ,its totally worth it and only like that we can keep developers alive.

The game is an Oculus exclusive. If they really want people to buy it, they should release it on every platform, including SteamVR. I don't know if it's playable on Vive (from what I read, the controls are bad). I want to try it before buying.

like nriver said, if you can afford a headset and a suitable PC then you should be able to SUPPORT the devs too and buy a game like this. Sure test it but if its good buy it. Because only then VR can grow and you will see new games like Asgards Wrath in the future too. For now Oculus supports the devs and so yeah its exclusive game. Somehow understandable. But if they can´t get money from the community since even games like Asgards Wrath get pirated, then sure... it will stay exclusive. And be sure Revive won´t work if Oculus REALLY want to stop it. It is still available and works great with Asgards Wrath, so that the game can be BOUGHT by us too. Asgards Wrath is a masterpiece, at least for VR content, and that should be supported. More I won´t say.

Even goes for people with low-paying jobs. I've torrented a lot of VR games, and I have bought the majority of them in the end (blade and sorcery, h3vr, beat saber). It's also fair not to support this due to it being oculus exclusive.
For those still unable to play this game through SteamVR. Make sure to use the most recent version of Revive. In its folder in Program Files > Revive > Revive, it has "ReviveInjector_x64.pdb". Then you know you have the right one. Drag the "WrathGame_Win64-Shipping.exe" onto this "ReviveInjector_x64.exe" You may copy the entire folder into Asgards Wraiths folder for easy access.

It depend your time zone, sometime you will have full bandwidth like 50 mo/s for my part sometime you will have only 250 ko/s. You just need to try latter when low audience. You just copy the files over to your own google drive, (you get 15Gb free) download those parts, delete them and move more over. Keep doing this until you have all parts downloaded. Sorry for the slow response as well. I don't tend to visit here daily, so sometimes it takes a while before I get back to someone.
1fincher has decent speeds, but has one hour waits between downloads. (unless you have a dynamic IP address so you can restart your net and get a new Ip address) http://ddl.to and clicknupload can both be good as well/ While they don't have limitations as far as waits between downloads, and no captchas... They can have issues working well often. As you mentioned. Zippyshare is a good host, but has the 500mb limit. People (for whatever reason) complain about downloading a lot of parts... but in the end they're getting the game for free, so it feels like people are just being lazy on those ones because they have to go to more links. (Could always pay the $60 USD as an alternative, if having to put a little effort into something free is too much for them...)
Hello, works almost perfect on the Valve index. The only thing that I'm experiencing is flickering (every 0,3 seconds) of the loading screen "in between levels". Anybody experiencing the same? Totally awesome game!

SEND HALPPPPPP! I have a Lenovo Explorer and I get a Fatal error and CTD after the splash screen. Can't even get game to start. Applied SW's fix with no luck. Still same fatal error.

Which version of revive are you using(I am using 1.8.2)? I still get the same error message. I drag the WrathGame-Win64-Shipping.exe on top of the ReviveInjector.exe. The game opens and this error message "The UE4-Wrathgame has crashed and will close" appears.
Just copy what's inside your x64 revive folder (program/revive/revive/x64) and past in your game folder near the game executable. Just drag and drop your *.exe in the revive.exe This procedure is the same for all oculus games

For those that "Somehow" didnt know that they have another website & to Help EVERYONE, instead of painfully downloading an entire "15 part" game download" just go to their "Other" website that instead uses the much, much, much, much easier "Torrents" to download a game, as you only need to download "1" thing that way & can simply start the download & forget about it until its done! Hey buddy, if your internet isnt that fast then I HIGHLY recommend you download Large game files like this that have more than "1 part" through their "Other" website, Im sure you know about it right? If not its the Exact Same website but they use a "Torrent" system instead so its soooo much easier & more convenient as you simple make a folder, download 1 torrent & start the download & forget about it until its done. As you are here downloading games Im sure your familiar with torrents & are aware they are the easiest & most simple way to download games, especially compared to this horrible & time consuming method, I mean there are "15" damn part to this download! wtf! If you insist on doing it the 100X harder way through this version of their website "Google Drive" seems to be the fastest link by far. Hi everyone, i'm having a massive issue downloading, wondering if someone has an answer for me. I've downloaded every part, mostly without issue, but just cannot download parts 10 and 12!!! I'm guessing there is some sort of limit i've reached, but there is no indication other than my downloading speeds going from 5 megs a second, to 100 kb per second. I've tried creating a Mega account, but that was a complete waste of time as it only allowed 1 part. I've tried the google drive hack, but that doesn't work any more and the rest of the links are BUNK!!! Totally appreciate this site, but really frustrated with this as it's happened before with multi-link downloads. Is there anyway for me to get all parts WITHOUTpaying? Yes, I tried that, but it copying didn't do anything. Are you referring to the instructions where you change the url to "open"? I prefer MegaUp, but 10 and 12 only download at 100kb...now. inject with revive gets past that but then it does not recognize the wmr controllers and you cant get past the "raise your arms and press the right stick" calibration screen.
just wanted to say thanks a lot, I requested this game before seeing how huge it was. Decided it was too much of a hassle to download in parts or wait for torrent + I want to support a VR game that is trying to really set the bar so I bought it. Again tho thanks this is one hell of a upload
No, you don't. This site doesn't put passwords on their games anymore. I've confirmed this for myself by extracting what I have downloaded already. there is no password. You've downloaded a virus ad... This download is nearly 80GB in size with each part being 4.99GB. If you downloaded anything less than that, then you have the wrong files.

I didn't know how to get revive to work so I followed the above and it's perfect on my quest via ALVR and Link Cable.
Cable is way better quality though.

People (for whatever reason) complain about downloading a lot of parts... but in the end they're getting the game for free, so it feels like people are just being lazy on those ones because they have to go to more links. (Could always pay the $60 USD as an alternative, if having to put a little effort into something free is too much for them...)
I drag the WrathGame-Win64-Shipping.exe on top of the ReviveInjector.exe. The game opens and this error message "The UE4-Wrathgame has crashed and will close" appears.

Just drag and drop your *.exe in the revive.exe

This download is nearly 80GB in size with each part being 4.99GB. If you downloaded anything less than that, then you have the wrong files.
