I might be wrong, but from what I understood, the game was Early Access, which is why people were more forgiving before, and left a temporary positive review. Now the game is apparently officially "finished", and there are only 5 levels, content is rather limited, controls are bad (not my thought but only what I read on Steam), and the developer doesn't intend to update it. 🤔 Too bad cos I followed this game since years. I might give it a chance when I have time.

this actually looks pretty good and more than 30 mins of gameplay hmm... easy to get into... but interesting enough to hold your attention quite surprising
It's a complete Dead Cells rip off, but I'm actually okay with that. The game is a lot of fun so far. Not quite as brutal as Dead Cells can get, so that's a plus for me. I don't need everything to be impossibly hard.
"Taking over"? If you actually had an education you'd see that anime only clones original IP's and it's never the other way around except when live adaptations are made, which bomb every single time.
@Alan Talks about education then goes and completely ignores the whole history of gaming and the massive influence JRPGs (AKA anime games) had on gaming industry throughout the history.
Round up the weebs to get those upvotes, even though what you said is false. JRPG's these days are almost all anime, but what you're saying is that just because it's made in Japan, that it's anime. You're generalizing a whole genre. So just because a game has a jump button, it's a focused platformer now?
if you like platform games like castlevania/metroid/ hack and slash? this games alright. doesnt require you to have a 2019 update laptop or tower. dont think this has ANY 18+ content. preferred if you played this game on a controller.
I'm about 2 hours into the game and I haven't seen any nudity yet. Unless there's a nude patch or something I can't find I'm thinking it was an incorrect tag.
If it has some similarity to Castlevania, it must be worth a try.
