God dammit. today I decided to play this game and continue where I left off back in 2018 I dropped it. but the problem is this version doesn't read my previous save data. so my save data always replace with new data and start from beginning. that's suck. my save data is in document folder. and this plaza version save locate in Public Document under steam Codex. perhaps I used GOG before.

Yo, the save files from the older version are not compatible because this version is from Steam and the previous one was from GOG. If anybody finds a way to make it work please share.
You can't from the looks of it. I tried moving the Save Data from the previous version to this one and it just seems to completely erase it. Check my comment a little ways down to see where the Save is if you'd like to try it for yourself.

This game came out 4 days ago unlike your other games. It's pretty new. Both NVIDIA and AMD often release newer graphics drivers that fix alot of bugs and give major performance improvements, Especially to newer games, So it's always a good idea to stay updated. If you dunno how you do it i can show you, Otherwise just look it up on google, It's really easy.
I appreciate it my dude, but yeah, I know how to do it. I've done it before but had a bad experience with one of NVidia's terrible drivers and it broke all of my games to the point where they weren't even playable. Didn't make a restore point back then but I've learned my lesson since then lol. I'll give it a shot soon and see if it works.

They just released a patch which adds keyboard displays (instead of controller button displays). Would love it if the version here is updated to that soon.

i am having problems with the hoodlum installer. if i click on "select path" i get "setup doesnt work anymore" and i can only close it. if i click on "install" it says "cannot create game folder (admin rights?)", even tho i run as an admin. you guys have any solutions for this problem?
Try installing Direct X I would suggest you to download AIO runtimes, it will download all the required files required for you PC. I had the same problem for this game. After installing all the apps it is working fine

I can confirm this game works perfectly. If anyone has any trouble, they don't have their drivers updated, they miss important .dll files or their CPU/GPU are having issues.
I didn't say it would work with everybody, i said that if it isn't working, those problems listed there are the issues: since everyone else would have just those commons problems most of the time: the don't update properly, their system is corrupted or with missing stuff and or they have a low end system that cannot handle it.
Post your specs, and tell me if you updated your whole pc, well. Try using Driver booster (the pro version, get a crack if you need to) And that will ensure you have EVERYTHING updated.
That cpu, it isn't that good, and the game starts in your screen's resolution, so depending on how big it is, the harder it will lag or get stuck with a slow cpu. What is the graphic cards? dedicated or integrated? Because i'm guessing it's integrated, and those 2 are the issues you have. This game uses a lot of resources.
nah the game is working fine and smoothly the problem is the cutscenes are just black,nothing,na dah I can only hear the audio and it seems that it's a bug so my best chance right now is wait for a patch
apparently when I press play my antivirus says that it tried to open other files in my computer and closes the game. no other games that I got from this website do that. idk man that's hella sketchy to me unless im wrong. Edit: ok after checking to see what it tried to open it was the achiev.ini it has. don't know why it tried to block that but its all good now
try installing the 64 and 32 bit versions of c++2015 at the same time. If does not work, if you are NOT using windows 10, try installing the windows update (KB2999226), if you are using the windows 10, just check if you have any new updates on windows update. It's not turn based combat. Your ability to attack recharges in real time. So you can delay until you hit the cap and then unleash multiple attacks at once. Considering you're controlling up to 4 characters at once, it wouldn't work as a fighting game like Skullgirls.

i got code vein to run on the first try. Game ran beautifully for a few hours, then i started having controller issues. By then I had put 10 hours into the game and was having a blast and felt personally it was worth full price. I'll get game for you on sale if you haven't gotten it by then.
2 years waiting on this game, and skullgirls is by far the best indie fighter I've ever played and i think I played them all. I have faith in this game. And will , as I always do, buy the game legit once its on sale. And if the game is SO good, then i will pay full price. ( like I did with Code Vein after playing pirated version for 10 hours, i had to legit buy it immediately)
I bought Pre-order the special edition of Code Vein on ps4, spent 80 dollars for it. And I still pirate it because PC is the only way to use Cheat Engine. I mostly want to mess around now that I've beating the game on PS4.

you want to buy it legally? You can get a copy of the ps1 version (i recommend the PAL version since it has some fixes) And i think it's avaliable on the psn store, unsure if for the vita, but the original psp had it. Other choice would be emulation, but that's obviously much easier.

Some effects are mor choppy in the psp version tho, but only a geek would notice the little details. buying a psp AGAIN ( bought 7 of them in my life time, ), just for 3 games. Crisis Core, Star Ocean 1 and 2. I'm not really interested in hacking my Vita, I want my Vita perfect the way it is. I can emulate a PSP on my phone, which is a better idea then buying the mobile phone version.

I have to say that, even if you don't want to hack your vita, playing the psp version with a better screen (and bigger) would make theexperience so much better. But that's just my opinion, you do you.
