watched a guy i am subscribed to play this i do not like ragging out games unless it is hentai but dang the a.i for the enemy is 1 of the worst i ever saw hah enemies 40 feet from ya swinging at the mid air , enemies running passed you to just start swinging
So just a quick nerd comment here but dual wielding in general wasn't done that often in real life but when it was, it was done with a long SWORD and a Dagger/knife. Doing it with both of either is actually quite bad. 2handers are the way to go though for the real bosses. Try parrying a meaty twohanded swing with one arm and a thin blade. Yikes.
Ho I know that for sure, but the point of having dual Dagger is generally to be less heavy, not having a huge throwback stick in your hand, therefore you generally not trying to parry but rather dodge. Some dual dagger wielder would have some sort of little shield on their off-arm in order to parry in last resort, but most of the time it is dodging. I do agree tho' that dual sword is not the best to parry, but as everything, there is pros and cons in this type of "stence". All in all, it was of course more of a joke than anything, just read "Rogue are the real master, Warrior are just fearfull wanabe" haha.
You are half right mayrana2. Many nations have used dual wielding Europe Japan China Philippines Thailand North American Indian tribes Romans And not just sword and dagger but everything from 2 sword (same or different), sticks, daggers https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dual_wield
The word you're looking for is Kunoichi. And there have been Kunoichi with dual swords(Technically not swords, they are more like daggers really. Kodachi, not Katana) LONG before Senran Kagura was a thing
Glad to see someone else knows about Kunoichi Technically kodachi were a short sword not dagger. Also not to be confused with wakizashi which was a secondary weapon. No one really knows what the Kunoichi was really used for but most believe it to be a commoners/merchant personal defense weapon as they were shorter then the length limit for non samurai. Another theory is that they were used by adolescents (Kids-Teens)
Well if they were anything like their male counterparts then they were spies, information gatherers and sometimes assassins. And honestly back then women would have a much easier time infiltrating the house of a Daimyo and assassinating him in the middle of the night or stealing information because...well, men were pigs
well, female-ninja is annoying enough... I haven't really taken a look at the game title when you made this comment... you made me remember the Ninja Kunoichi as a game title..
Ah yes, the "kunoichi"(Seriously i always hesitate calling anyone in that franchise a ninja because...WELL JUST LOOK AT THEM!) who's theme song is" Make sure it absolutely hurts"
I will try it~
Although, not sure if the gameplay will be as lovely as the visuals... (>w<)/

this one could be more stylishly named 'dual blade - kunoichi battle'
you're right. kunoichi revenge does ring nicer.
enemies just stand there and swing the weapons like idiots
