Oops I'm a bit confused. I just tried it, and it's not the version I saw here :

There are many versions of this old great game, and I was wrong when I requested the GoG version.
It looks like the correct version is presented here :
https://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/defender-of-the-crown-digitally-remastered-collectors-edition
As I don't want to break the IGG rules, can I do a request for this version too ?

played this on ms-dos and nes who got slightly better than dos

IGG you can put in RELEASE DATE of Defender of the Crown: 20th May 1986.
