New Update is out, cannot wait till this finishes. Gonna be a great game if it does, if it ends up being completed I'll probably buy it on steam. But that's why I pirated stuff, if they don't finish it, they don't get my money ;-)
Nice game, full of text, a load of text. Spend a lot of time on reading them. You can not use "ALT" to highlight everthing you can interact, this needs to be inprove.
It's a decent taste of what is to come. I'm hoping they improve the graphical quality a bit, but overall its pretty solid and feels like it's going to be good.
I'll be honest, when they annouced the game to release on Sep. 26th, I was expecting the full game... not an early-access release that is basically just the prologue and little else. But then again, if the Kickstarter is anything to go by, it seems this game has been in development since late 2018. A year is not a whole lot of time to make a decent game. The devs wrote on Steam that they are going to add content throughout the coming months. My guess is another year or two in development... if all goes well. Most games need 4, on average. Since there's not much we can do at this point, either buckle up and wait or treat this as a demo or an actual EA game - to help the devs with troubleshooting and fine-tuning until it's ready to release.
"waiting" will simply mean there is a big chance the game will never be finished. EA isn't a form of advertising. EA means: "we need money ASAP, this is what we've accomplished so far, this is what we still want to implement in the future....but we need your moneys" ;)
Someone has already whined on the steam forums trying to push for MP. The devs did respond and say "nope, not now." It's like every game has to be watered down for MP these days instead of creating a genuine and solid single player game.
Because some people can only enjoy a game when they're playing with others and every time they see a title that is moderately interesting they instantly want it to cater to their tastes, regardless of how others may feel and whether or not its feasible. Some even outright refuse playing games that don't have MP. There are a few genres around created with such experiences in mind. Mobas, MMOs, Battle Royals, etc. Not every game needs MP to be enjoyable and if someone think they do, they need to expand their horizons and learn to appreciate games for what they offer, rather than hijacking every title to cater to their selfish tastes.
I have nothing against games that are built explicitly for MP. They can be fun. It's just frustrating that too many people want to force MP into everything. I mean, it'd be like someone trying to shove the dark souls mindset into every game. So its not just MP, its trying to shove things into games that just don't belong in the game and what you get is a watered down product.
