yes bro! download hamachi, make a network on it, tell your friends to do the same, make sure you're all online on hamachi, then open steam, click add a non-steam game, add cube world and then go on one of your worlds, and press J i believe to open your friends tab, you will see your friends there (most likely with a weird name)

When I run the game all is ok but when I restart my PC, the cubeworld.exe is deleted. I've found a solution for the people who have the same problem : make a copy of the "cubeworld.exe" and when it's deleted, paste it in the game folder. But if the file is named "cubeworld.exe" you can't paste it so rename it something like "cubeword - Copy.exe" or anything other and you will be able to paste it (I recommend to do a lot of copy in one time to be sure to have at least one remaining and to refresh the stock). It's a solution but an easiest thing could be great.
Open the multiplayer crack that's included in the download, copy the files to your game directory, start Steam, Open the game as an Administrator. You should see on your steam profile, that you are playing Spacewar, that's good. You go in the game, open the friends list, and invite your friend.
It was recently updated, it doesn't have a crack anymore. You don't need to paste the crack into the game anymore, just start steam, open the game and add your friends. Enjoy!
When i start the game (I put the crack in and started steam) it shows the loading screen then goes fullscreen, the music starts for a bit and then crashes. I tried to start as administrator and to re-install the game but it doesn't change anything. I can run it with my curent pc and i dont know what the issue is.. any help?
Cube World doesn't support Windows 7, if you have that OS. But you can use a fix provided in the http://README.md file. Just open the file with your notepad.

had the same problem, if you wait things will render in. Just wait in the home screen until a person flying appears then create character and it may take a second to load that character also but it just takes time.
Worked fine for me but the game itself is just awful IMO. Get ready to die every few seconds and all your stuff vanishes within a minute or so so you lose everything. There's no tutorial or help at all. I don't expect the game to hold my hand but helping me understand how to actually play the game is kind of important I would think.

I don't think you can play the game with someone who has the steam game but he can install the crack too and you'll need hamachi (I suppose because that's how I play) to play with your friends

Is the file size less than 5 MB? Did you get the file directly, or have you used an exe? If the answer to any of the questions is yes, you downloaded an ad. Please try downloading the files again and make sure you get the correct ones.

If you want to play multiplayer, you dont need to have spacewar running, all you need is to be in a local network (e.g Hamachi), then you will see your friends as "goldberg", to change your name, edit the file at C:\Users*USERNAME*\AppData\Roaming\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\settings\account_name.txt, then you invite your friend and they will be able to click on join.

I has been fixed in the https://cubeworld.gamepedia.com/0.9.1-6. We just have to wait until the game is updated here (probably for the full release that came out earlier today). According to the changelog, the crash happens when you have 14 friends in your friend list (J is to open your friend list). I haven't experienced this crash myself, so i don't know if it's really only with this amount of friends. It seems odd.
I didn't test. But as far as I understand it is that you need to have friends on Steam. Install Spacewar, open the friends widget in-game to see your Steam freinds who are playing it now.

yeah, it should, if it doesnt show as playing spacewar, it wont work. i have had that happen to me in many games, and usually the fix is to restart steam, or restart the pc. maybe reinstall the game. but if that does not work, then the problem is the crack.
the thing that i did to fix the game not starting with steam is copying the files from the older 0.9.1-3 into the 0.9.1-5 because for some odd reason the new version didnt have the bzinho_config.ini and bzinho_api64.dll and the steam_api64.dll

Upgrading the computer or optimizing the game engine if your graphics and options are on the low settings, only the developer can do this engine update :/

Horribly coded, uses more of my CPU than heavy modded fallout 4 at high settings. A game should not be hovering at ~92% CPU no matter what settings I use.
there is an option to reduce cpu usage. besides. cube world's map is HUGE and for some reason the game loads most of it at the same time, hence the insane cpu usage, but it is not a problem, because it wont make you lag because of it.
Which could be fixed by using a render system like Minecraft or any other game. I use reduced, killed any other program, and anything else I could think of. I just don't think my computer should sound like it about to take off when playing a blocky rpg whilst being quite silent playing anything else. A bit disappointed, earlier versions were better optimized.
sounds like a problem with your cpu then. nobody seems to be having such issue. And btw, minecraft's render system is terrible, and is much worse than cubeworld's, or any other game's really.
there is a render system, but from the sounds of it seems like your cube world is contently trying to do something, as the cpu usage it tied to loading, rendering, map rendering with cache, and item genration

Since I know that this often happens with Advertisement etc, I Disabled my AV to Download the Respective File and start my AV later again. But no matter what Source I use (its the same for other games on here too) when I click on the Download Button on the Site, it wants to Download a "Your File is Ready.exe", which seems more then Suspicious. I know you Guys are 100% Clean and do good Work, could you please Investigate if there currently is an issue with your Site? (Same Behaviour from a Different System btw)
I don't really understand, why people having issues with starting this game. It clearly said, Steam has to be installed AND running. As Windows 7 user, I have additional DLL files and it works without any issues, no crashing during the game. I can run this game with or without admin privileges - it doesn't affecting if the game starts or not. Only one issue is a black screen, trying to quit - just have to start task manager and it's done. Considering the fact it's still BETA - is playable version and we should appreciate the fact, it has been shared with our community, but this is temporary and official (stable?) version will be released in couple days.

Yeah it works on windows 7 because there's a patch and that's really cool I think so everyone can enjoy that game, even some other on windows 10, but I don't know at all why it doesn't work for me but should =/
Maybe I could have a tip... As I created shortcut on my desktop, game stops starting. I noticed, I have to go directly to the folder where game is installed / unpacked and run it from there. Try this.
U gta do quests, just talk to the NPCS in your city, they'll give you quests that has you walking to certain marked areas. Sometimes they just give you items in that area, or has you required to kill mobs to save NPCs. And those drop good equipment oce you save them. :D
Impossible to launch the game, no matter what I do, I double click on cubeworld.exe and it shows up a tiny window with "loading" and closes a few seconds later, and just that. No matter how hard I try to do things to make it work it just don't, HELP
i open steam install spacewar and run administrator. reinstall spacewar restart steam several times and try open cw.exe normal and administrator. try change compatibility win7-win8 and try other opsions at properties menu. try change options.cfg codes change windowed screen and fullsc change resolution and change monitor hz change cpu performance. besides i closed the antivirus. but the cube world when i tried launch just showing a square cube world logo and cubeworld.exe stopped working. my system 64 bit so its not the problem. I update my graphic driver and whole pc drivers besides update directx and c++ and reinstall game multiple times but nothing change can anybody help?
I can't agree about Alpha (2013) version... it's not really picky. It works for me on my gaming computer as well as much older one: DualCore, 7GB RAM, GT710.
And whats your graphic card? i know its a radeon 5000 series but which one? You dont need to install spacewar on steam (just need to keep steam on) You might wanna disable your firewall as windows10 has a defective firewall See if there is any malicious program running in the background through the task manager You might be missing some DLL or Redist packs And one question: you could run the old Cube World? the alpha one (This may or may not be an error related to the fact its in the beta state)
graphic card: radeon 5740 firewall is already disabled as i write first comment. all programs is closed all dlcs are installed and redist packs are installed and cw alpha is fine at this computer
Try this: open up the Task Manager (esc+shift+ctrl) and go to services. Stop the Nahimic service the last resort would be a clean reinstall of win10 but the game is more optimized now so you should be able to run it with no problem, my guess is software incompatibility due to it being on beta you probably should wait until wollay fixes it, since a bunch of people are having trouble with the game right now and you've done pretty much everything you could
And what to do if there is no Nahimic service? I kinda have the same problem but no error, the "loading" window just close after a few seconds and nothing happens and its not in background inthe task manager, so its fully closed.

It could be your antivirus or firewall might wanna try disabling them it could be related to graphic drivers not updated and it can be that you're missing windows redist packs
I can launch the game just fine, but when I create a new character, I can't exit out of creation! I can change the character in every way, but there's no button to "Finish" and actually start the game. The only button I can press is "Back" button, but that takes me to the menu.

I DO NOT play in administrator mode. This is because when I launch it as administator, it tells me that Steamapi failed to initialize.
at the center bottom there is a box, that is a name box for your character once you click in the box and start typing something there will be a finish button at the bottom right
re-download the game, and if it still happens go DDL-filescom and search the file name and manually download the .zip file get the latest version and right OS version like 64-bit or 32- bit, unpack the file both in the game folder and in your system32 folder (note this is for windows OS)
Did not work for me I dont know why I did what you said I got zip file (64-bit and 32-bit because my computer is 64-bit) I unpacked them in system32 but didn't work so I put 32-bit folder in SysWow64 and I put 64-bit folder in game files Still doesn't work (64-bit file is also in system32)

Help! The map won't even show up for me. I know I have to press M. But whe I do, part of the HUD just disappear (the health/mana bars and the quick buttons. EDIT : I restarted the game and the map does show up now. :)

Just have steam on standby and do the following that's featured and you should be good...basically they run multiplayer via steam and your steam friends are the ones you invite to your world and vice versa

Can you send me a screenshot of the game's root folder? (the folder with cubeworld.exe and the .dll files) Maybe you're missing some files or maybe the Antivirus deleted the crack.
Try closing every Task (in Task Manager) that has the word "Nahimic" in it. Check if the game is running in the background (in task manager) and close it.
I have my task manager open since I downloaded the game, there's nothing with the word "Nahimic" and the game just close everywhere when I try to launch it, even in the task manager

You just have to wait a bit. It's loading the files and it may take a while until everything is loaded. I would just go into the Character Creation screen and wait until everything has loaded.
So, I tried starting it. Gave me an error for missing XAudio2_8.dll, thus I downloaded it. Now I get the error naming "The ordinal 1 could not be located in the dynamic link library XAudio2_8.dll." It doesnt matter if I put the .dll in system or the cubeworld folder. Steam running and Spacewars installed, plz help!
XAudio2 (2_8) seems to be a library that you're missing. It should come with Windows 8 or Windows 10 and cannot be installed like any other program/redist. This game only works on Windows 10 and Windows 8 and it looks like you're using a Windows version that is either older than Windows 8 or 2. Windows 8 or newer and not 64 bit

Not really a new system but just a new OS. (ok, maybe a new system if your processor is 32bit). If you're thinking about getting a new OS: imo you should get Windows 10 since it's more compatible with newer games and hardware and it has dark mode :) and some other cool features I guess? oh btw, np

Yeah, you'll have to reinstall everything. Just use some removable storage media (like a CD or a hard drive) and copy your important files on it (dont copy programs tho, they'll definetly break) and maybe make a list of programs that you need. Good luck with your re-setup!

Spacewar installed, Running game as administrator, already restarted the steam and the computer, I'm thinking that it's the problem with the beta... I will try the normal steam here
I've installed the Steam Beta but Cube World still works. Are you sure everything is installed/copied over correctly? Does it give you any kind of error or does the game generate a log file in the game folder?
I don't even understand why installing a seperate game that is itself hidden on steam has anything to do with getting this to run. I like many other people cannot get this to run after following all of the steps anyone is suggesting. For me I see the logo pop up and then it greys out and says the program has stopped responding, working on windows 7.

VCOMP120.dll seems to be a file from the Redist stuff (Redist = Redistributables. Those programs need to be installed because they have libraries, functions and other stuff that the game requires.) Do not randomly download and "install" some dll files you find online. Google the .dll file first and make sure you know what it is/does. honestly, those things can have some viruses in them. Btw, VCOMP120.dll seems to be a part of https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=40784. (Also make sure to install install everything in the game's redist folder(only if the game has a redist folder). Hope this wall of text helps!
Huzzah another upload that doesn't work. No having steam open doesn't fix the issue. Rather having steam stops the "Failed to Initialize Steam.api" issue but the game simply just stops responding instead of loading.

As Windows 7 user, I have additional DLL files and it works without any issues, no crashing during the game.
I can run this game with or without admin privileges - it doesn't affecting if the game starts or not.
Only one issue is a black screen, trying to quit - just have to start task manager and it's done.
Considering the fact it's still BETA - is playable version and we should appreciate the fact, it has been shared with our community, but this is temporary and official (stable?) version will be released in couple days.

my system 64 bit so its not the problem. I update my graphic driver and whole pc drivers besides update directx and c++ and reinstall game multiple times but nothing change can anybody help?
You dont need to install spacewar on steam (just need to keep steam on)
You might wanna disable your firewall as windows10 has a defective firewall
See if there is any malicious program running in the background through the task manager
You might be missing some DLL or Redist packs
And one question: you could run the old Cube World? the alpha one
(This may or may not be an error related to the fact its in the beta state)

all dlcs are installed and redist packs are installed and cw alpha is fine at this computer
the last resort would be a clean reinstall of win10
but the game is more optimized now so you should be able to run it with no problem, my guess is software incompatibility due to it being on beta
you probably should wait until wollay fixes it, since a bunch of people are having trouble with the game right now and you've done pretty much everything you could

I have steam installed, installed spacewar, and ran the game as administrator. I also restarted steam and reinstalled spacewar and it still did not work.
I am on windows 10 64-bit
it could be related to graphic drivers not updated
and it can be that you're missing windows redist packs

seriously, he came back only to not put it up for early access on steam. that is just idiotic. everyone thought the came was dead do he would have had a flood of purchases had he actually allowed us to buy it.

When i try to run the game nothing happen no error or nothing i have done all the steps above anyone know what the problem could be?
I downloaded the game, I installed Spacewar on steam and wen I Run the game as an administrator, a cube world window appear and 1 to 3 seconds later, it says to me : "cubeworld.exe stopped working" and then, the only thing I can do is close the window and nothing els happens.

This game only works on Windows 10 and Windows 8 and it looks like you're using a Windows version that is either older than Windows 8 or 2. Windows 8 or newer and not 64 bit

It has most of the 1.0 content shown in the trailer, so if you really can't wait and dont mind bugs this is actually worth

Do not randomly download and "install" some dll files you find online. Google the .dll file first and make sure you know what it is/does.
honestly, those things can have some viruses in them.
Btw, VCOMP120.dll seems to be a part of https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=40784. (Also make sure to install install everything in the game's redist folder(only if the game has a redist folder).

Rather having steam stops the "Failed to Initialize Steam.api" issue but the game simply just stops responding instead of loading.
