Google and mega nz are down. Other ones too. Only mega up is up. And the first file is one of those glitched ones that take 2 days to download while the other ones took 5 minutes
The only links that go to anything are the megaup, and the zip files I get from megaup seem to have missing volumes. Is this happening for anyone else?
Seems like that was a problem with either google chrome, or with the way the dl sites try to make you download something that isn't the file you wanna download a couple times first. Whoops.

I'm not really sure, it was throwing me an error about something missing in the .dll file. but after uninstalling the game and re installing everything, including every update one by one it's now working properly

Bad stuff? First game was great. Not super-great but not bad either. Just a good souls-like game. I played all Dark Souls games and I can highly recommend The Surge to you. And in my opinion first game was better and more challenging than the second, however few things are improved here - cutting enemy's limbs for example.

yep, it's working ... somehow my Windows 10 unable to detect the new update for the driver even though there is latest update. it always said my driver is the latest one. So, yeah, I updated it from Nvidia Experience and everything works perfectly.
First of all, this game's graphics are unacceptable for the requirements it wants to run and due to the awful optimization, I am unable to play with steady fps even with a medium-high end system. I have a ryzen 5 2600 six core 3.40 GHz, 16 gigs of ram and a gtx 1070 and yet, at the first area (the tutorial one with where it teaches you how to fight) when I look around the fps drop from the fire particles! Very high settings the game crashes, High it plays with around 30 fps droping to sometimes even below 20 (not having steady fps is a bigger problem than having low fps), medium it runs at 40 fps that can't stay stead and at low it runs 60 fps again, dropping to 50 or below, not that the game's graphics change much at all at the various graphic settings I managed to run. For a triple A game, this is unacceptable. Now that the awful optimization part is over, let's talk about gameplay. Good. The first Surge was mediocre due to the areas/bosses/fights being all the same and being no variation. Here, they solved that problem (at the biggest part) making most fights feel unique and not being tiring. Good combat system and quite polished with the exception of the countless bugs. Bugs: The game is filled with bugs, from small graphical ones to dodge not "dodging". When you create a souls like game, you have a standard that Dark Souls has set in stone, you must have a bug free game. If you create a game that revolves around precise combat, you must make it bugless and the game fails misserably at that. Dodge not working, Bosses stun locking you until you die, getting 1 shot from behind a solid wall and many more reported bugs. For me, this game was promising and while the developers have created something good, it is filled with bugs and broken coding that makes it unplayable at parts. That was my experience so if anyone wants to give it a try, be prepared of the problems this game has

checked out a short lets play (mainly on the gameplay aspect) and this game looks like its everything dark souls wanted to be but never was. in darksouls, 95% of weapons and armor are totally useless and killing enemys for souls isnt required honestly. here everything has at least some purpose. cant wait to give this a try.
I Had problem with vulkan all the time, specially after the update. Tried everything and nothing worked, then, after a wile I've installed the game again and in the options I changed the "Volumetric lightning quality" to Low and "Antialiasing mode" to Off... Now it seens to be working with no problem.
Yeah, worked for me too. But, I played the settings between the two and the issue was from "Volumetric lightning quality" to Low. Even if I change Antialiasing to High, it won't crash but if I changed the lighting quality either med to high, then the game would crash right away. Thanks for this. Maybe others can try this if they are having issue with Vulcan Error thing.
So after installing the update and cracking it again the game just simply won't start, I have windows 8.1 pro. If anyone knows how to solve this problem let me know
fyi with update 1 still crashing to desktop, apparently it lets me escape to the city but then crashes randomly with the flr bug. so... still no fix yet

the "3 y/o hardware" thing only applies to intel processors with integrated gpus, and then only applies if your trying to use said integrated gpu and not a dedicated gpu. all other hardware is compatible back to Q1 2012
is there anywhere to get the dlc pack? I found a download of the game that includes the dlc, but its the full game again, and the links are not fast free ones, so download speed is around 100KB, so would take a week or so to download
I don't know why but on EXIT of The Surge 2, I've had two Stop Errors, one 0x00000024 and one 0x0000003b, and Since I have the latest updates and drivers, and other things fully up to date, at least I think so?! I don't know why this is happening, there was a Blackish screen problem that I fixed with the help of a Search and Rescue Drone function as that function sent me back to the last used Medi-bay, it hasn't malfunctioned at all after that except on exit of the Program. Anybody have any ideas as to why? I finally found the problem, I think anyway... I reinstalled my video drivers and the game and it doesn't crash on exit anymore.
I play with a controller so not sure what the kb&m equivalent is, but when you press the A button to increase the stat, you also have to move the slider over.

I believe something is wrong with my pc, all updated, have legal win os, just restored win to last update, reinstalled DX, Net framework, and so on. already succesfully played metro exodus, control, sekiro and others by igg torrents no problems there. but the game blasphemous had similar issues, fixed by placing appropriate dll files with the game launcher. however your blasphemous crack didnt work so i later downloaded the game elsewhere and choose codex crack instead of hoodlum. this time no dll errors.
Heard a rumor that running at 32bit helped with some other games. Can you even start Surge at 32bit? Like in the game files? I already moved and replaced like a hundred dll files in the game folder and for that reinstalled the game few times, so that didnt help.

I needed to set Vsync to "adaptive" and all graphic issues were gone! I had it turned off before, and had severe graphical problems as well! Oh, and ofc lastest drivers!
I got FLR error with weird fix. First i want to play as men then the error [ FLR ] appear, then i start new game again, change the character male to female and the game works! I don't know if it will work for you guys, try changing the gender and see if it fix the FLR error. If it still happen, try update gpu driver.

the reddst are programs for windows that are needed for the correct finctioning of many games. They are located in the folder common redist/vc redist insde the game folder. Yo suld il those to see if they are up to date ornot installed at all.

I couldn't really get into the first one enough to finish it either because I wasn't a fan of the main character or the game world, even though I did really like the combat. However, the addition of a character creator and more diverse game world settings helps me keep more interest in this one.
It's more of an AA game...not quite the budget or manpower behind it like an AAA title like a Dark Souls game. Plus, it wasn't the full $60 but was sold for $50.
here where i live theres 0% natural disasters but the heat its a nightmare on summer, it barely rains sometimes and you cant stay 5 mins outside winter its a paradise however, neither hot and cold
Those of you who played the previous game, know this: This one is better. Not by MUCH but it's a step above the previous one. combat remains virtually unchanged, you can make your own character now and it's a bit slow and ugly to start but gets better as you play
I watched a review by ACG and he rated it a buy. It has some performance issues but other than that it's a big step up from the original. and ACG is someone you can trust
