THAT BASTARD!!! Tyrian was one of my favorite games of all time growing up!!! One of the first games I lost hours of replay time to on computer...
How can people get away with this? Shamelessly using others' hard work and effort years later, with the excuse that "oh it's been a long time."
Gah.
Double Gah. I do some research and find out that Tyrian got an open content license in 2007...
STILL. Shameless. Wrecked my day.

apparently Daniel cook (the guy who did the graphics FOR Tyrian) gave free access to all his tyrian assets, including graphics and source code.
