for those who are experiencing game errors like this there are two ways to fix it but first lets check what device adapters ur using by doing this:
press start button and x together.
select 'device manager'
then look for 'device adapters' then you'll see what ur pc is using, it's either
intel (r) hd graphics - for those who saw intel in their pc then do the solution (1)
NVIDIA - for those who saw NVIDIA (not too familiar with it bc i don't even have NVIDIA graphics card) proceed solution (2) EXPLAINING THE SITUATIONS AND SOLUTIONS. (1) you see, the psychedelica of the ashen hawk requires NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or equivalent. now since i, or maybe u, don't have nvidia or can't find where the hell is NVIDIA (i can't even afford NVIDIA graphic card ;;) "but" have intel then here's what you're gonna do. intel (r) hd 4600 graphics can be a substitute for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560. yes, very good news! so u just need to update ur intel graphics.
--- FIRST, download the latest intel hd 4600 driver for your notebook from the link below and save it to your downloads folder. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27780/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=81496 (i know there's a lot of them but for me i picked the one in zip file and the 64 bit windows 10 since that's what pc is.) to check urs just click start button and r together for run window then type dxdiag to open ur direct x diagnostic tool then look at what ur operating system says to check what intel is compatible with yours. SECOND, extract it with 7zip or if u have other extracting tools already then use that. just click 'extract here' http://www.7-zip.org/ THIRD, when done, hold down the windows key and press R
into the run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
FOURTH, in device manager, expand display adapters, right click the intel 4600 device and select 'update driver software'.
in the following window, select 'browser my computer for driver software' and then select 'let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'. FIFTH, in the next window, click the 'have disk' button and then browse to the extracted intel 4600 win folder you just downloaded earlier
browse into the sub-folder graphics, i particularly found mine in the 'lang' sub folder. left click on the file igdlh64.INF to highlight it and then click open.
LASTLY, click on 'ok' and then click 'next' and wait for the driver to install.
it's like reading a book, but with pictures... hence visual novel. moreover most of them are interactive and some people (like me) love interactive stories where you can choose the outcomes..
The reason you got so many down votes because you commented on a visual novel page where people clearly go cause they interested in it. Its fine if u don't like it just don't say it cause people will be triggered. so yeah...

update: i still encountered tbe same problem after playing prologue, the game just closes by itself but i found an easy solution. so just skip the intro like the intro video by clicking then ur going to chapter 1 right away.
(2) just follow the instructions in the STEAM link below. i think what you needed to do is to locate NVIDIA control panel and do stuffs there.
