I stopped updating this game as i thought the game takes you from small ape to a full grown human but nope you stay an ape the whole game you just get smarter, i'll pass unless they make the game a full transition where you start as an ape and grow and evolve into a homo-sapien that would be a really good game i'd like to play not this monkeying around no pun intended! :)
Sorry it's six days later but the audio cue is difficult to hear without headphones, and nearly impossible to hear without them if you have any kind of hearing loss or naturally difficulty hearing high frequencies (which is pretty common)
Downloaded and installed the game and played it for about 2 hours without a problem. Then I tried to update it. The game itself seems to be 10 GB, but CODEX says to update the game you need over 18 GB of free space. That's fine. But at like 10% updating progress it shows a blank window called "IsDone.dll". When I click "ok" the updater says "Installation Failed" and "Rolling back changes... Error" Afterwards the game crashes when I try to play. What is the problem?
I have played it for 2 weeks,it is really the best game idea in a while but not so well applied by the programmers before releasing it. An example are the amount of bugs:your monkey often is hard to direction when climbing trees cause if camera turns it automatically inverts its direction;the first and biggest one i noticed, and the worse, is that monkeys overlaps when close one to another,and sincerely i don't understand how it is possible in 2019 letting two or more solid objects do this. Enemies animals when they try to follow you get often trapped in the environment. Well... if they had a team which cared more about quality than a quick releasing to get an immediate but lower profit,probably now we were playing with a milestone in the game history.

So I encountered quiet a problem here. I have downloaded the game for the second time, because the first time I got bored, but I decided to give it another chance so the game is downloaded and when I check the installation file the .iso or .zip file is not there, but in properties it says that the file is 8.75 GB (the size it should be), I've tried looking if I'm missing Daemon Tools or WinRar, but I have both, so what should I know? BTW I checked if the file was hidden and it is not

Sometimes there will be an update file posted on the page of the game (like here under the main files), but other times when it's a big update or new DLC it requires downloading all files again and replacing old ones. Your saves stay intact though.
be aware, do not have your children piggybacking an adult when you go to the next generation, apperantly this makes them dissapear, this happened to me and i ended up with just 6 elder hominids.

game is great but could be greater the main reasons its great its not trying to cuddle with the main users of games and make some sort of battle royale its a subject that is rarely explored and used in the gaming industry and it was a great piece if you consider it was low budget what people expected when they got this was a "warfare monkey game" it is literally not a war game its based around evolution of our ancestors and it is a very interesting game to say the least while it was a grind it was fun nonetheless
Game worked fine for me until my PC got a bluescreen. After rebooting my PC the game stopped working. Every single time I get a blackscreen after the studio stuff... Hope there is a fix for that. Updated Drivers and everything but not working sadly. Edit: After a fresh reinstall I still get a blackscreen.
I really tried to like this game but I had an aweful time with it. controls suck, camera is too close, you're super slow, effects that make you unable to see for MINUTES, you often get stuck while climbing, you jump through branches that you want to grab... also I had no clue what to do when I came to the area where you can't see at all (with the tiger cutscene)... that was aweful, too. I just deleted it and now I am happy :D
So can you play this game to the end or is there something that will hinder you from going to the end (I read that someone with 12h and 3rd generation couldnt play anymore and I dont want to waste 12h of my preciouse time)
I bought this game on epic game store. Try it out. I hate it. I though I learn my lesson to not buy the game before playing the cracked version first. I guess I will never learn. Hate this game. The control on the camera is weird and hard to get used to. The control path for the ape you move around won't do certain things you want it to do. I wish the jump button is separate from the run key. Wish it have icon change from Xbox button to PS4 buttons. Too confuse for those who are like me used to play PlayStation only. No mods yet to change the xbox icon to ps4 icon.
How is it hard to get used to how to control the camera you literally just move your mouse like ANY OTHER PC GAME. I've never once had an issue with my character doing anything they weren't being directed to do via my input, it tells you to stop moving if you don't want to jump and it's a very simple thing albeit difficult to get used to for the first literally 5 minutes, and the buttons on xbox are literally the exact same ones as playstation the only difference is the name. Since you clearly don't play using a keyboard on a pc game, let me put it simply for you: the camera controls are the exact same in this game as they are in every AAA title on the market. It's not the camera that's funky, it's the directional combat and contextual interaction.
Here's a thing, it is preferable to play on a controller since it is build around it that way. You can't move around fast enough even if I change the setting to look in any direction for enemy are at. If the camera is slightly adjust upward little bit above head, it would be much easier for me to see. All AAA games I play are RPG and racing since I love those game. The FOV is much better in those game. This game have lower FOV and I want to change it and move the camera up a little for better view of everything I want to see.
you really can't blame the studio for this though It's not EA, CDPR or Blizzard Its a startup made by the A.creed creator so its kinda low budget. If only it was released on steam it would have lots of support
The best game I played so far that didn't hold my hand like a toddler. It's like being back to the old days without internet, you just do things randomly and you make stuff, really fking nostalgic. It gets grindy though so I hope they give us a challenge since once you master the counter attack, you can kill EVERYTHING even with a rock. Will actually buy it once its on steam, hopefully when its there, lots of things get added to the experience.

Doing boring tasks that 10 million year old apes did may seem interesting to some but i found the game to just be a slow annoying grind! I was really hoping that as a player you evolve from an ape to a man and have changing tasks as you evolve thru the ages! But.... nope! you stay an ape the whole time! So glad i didn't waste my money on this title this is one of those game you buy and are excited and right after you play it for a half hour that buyers regret sets in! if you only played it for 30 mins you haven't learnt much and for a super low budget game there are tons of stuff to explore and do i'd say once you reach the 3rd evolution you'll have discovered more than half of the things there is and you'd have to have played for atleast 10 hours to get there
No i didn't play it for 30 minutes! I played a few hours and got to 2nd evolution, I guess what tricked me was the title cover showing a small ape turning into a man from my game play and all the videos i saw the player never changes into a man the player stays an ape! I think the next title part 2 they may add that in! I hope they add real things in too like when they get mad at another ape they throw their shit at them! LOL!!!!! The controls and the over all graphics are great but the endless grinding is what put me to sleep! I woke up to find my ape had no food or water i was just glad it was right in my base and all those stick barriers i put up for defense of my cave was probably the only reason my ape didn't die i just wish as the game goes on it would have been great to see your character start as a small primate in the jungle only to finish the game driving down the california coast in red convertible or even better taking off in a rocket ship to colonize another planet. THAT is the game thought this game was! Not monkeying around in the woods grooming each other! LOL!!! I'll pray part 2 of the game if they make it will be like that! kinda like the game civilization but starting much further back. Ok enjoy the game! Maybe it will get better and they can alter the grind part of the game but i don't see how. Anyway take care!

nah, i found 3 hominids in the span of 30 minutes and quickly had my clan up to 18 members once i had them pop out some children and go to the next generation, then i took all 18 of them and relocated them to a nice new cave entrance settlement with lots of resources around, and continued exploring from there further into the jungle.
The monkeys are random spawn. Once you have a full tribe. the random apes will not spawn. i think the max number of adult apes you can have is 6. making you tribe a max of 18. (6 babies, 6 adults and 6 elders)
I'm not sure as i haven't tested it. But i think. If you lose an adult monkey you will get a replacement monkey spawn in the world. I would only assume that this will happen only if you don't have the 6 babies to fill the next generation.

I can't use the iso from part 2. If I want to start it with Daemon Tool only "Error image contains no files" comes up. And the CODEX folder of the first part, after the installation is also empty xx. I read here that you don't need a crack for that, but without Part 2 you won't get anything? Why is Part 2 Iso empty?
I'm not sure which source you downloaded from but maybe try one of the other sources because I know for a fact the #2 part of the iso isn't empty on Google, at least.
Downloaded about Mega. Couldn't extract it normally either because there was an error. And after I got it right then this error .. was annoying xx. I will load it over Torrent now and hope that everything will work out better. Would like to test it before I invest so much money in a game.

game starts but it says press A to continue like I am using a controller so i go to options & select mouse/keyboard controls but that does not help. So when I manage to get past that there is a screen showing some molecule looking things but it just does it over & over. The game does not start
Spacebar instead of A which is the xbox controller to start it. Then, when you see what you describe, the game is generating the world and it may take some time to do that before you enter the world...the same happens when you start No Man's Sky. If you got that far, your pc can handle it.
your pc can't handle it I think. And you also need to set the textures to high since making it medium or low makes the foliages into ground making the predators invisible.

Because it reuses a lot of it assets over and over again. That's because it's mostly Jungle so you can use not so many different textures to give it a good look.
Played first hours and I would say the controls are not intuitive and the skill tree system was not necessary, imo. But one thing that dispointed me a lot is that there is 0 management of your clan. You clan just sit at your base and not interacting with each other at all. You don't need to worry to feed them either it seems. Only the ape you control you need to manage it needs. I will give it another try to see how do we evolve into a "human".
I can handle this game with 1080p resolution with gt1030 all low settings, get 37 - 42 fps, and my processor i5-6500 with ddr4 8gb dual channel 2400 MHz, I must new game to get rid fatal error, but older save file cannot be used again, in older save file fatal error come if I'm grooming :(
It has nothing to do with optimization. Early on you basically can't fight things unless you are god speed. Try fighting small snakes and hogs to learn how to better deal with things. Also remember you must hold "space" OR "A/X (controller) Then move left, right or back and release to dodge and forward/at the animal then release to attack. Also animals require you be holding a stick/rock or you will still get hurt trying to attack them.

Nevermind, even if i try to put a savegame in it the game still crashes after the logo, i can see it creates crash logs in the folder. Oh well. Another game i can't play because devs do the "unga bunga if you don't have quad core we're not gonna let you start up the game". GG.

Is this not a full game ?. Cuz some feature doesn't exist, like Game Mode there is just First Time only, there is should be 3 or 4 mode, and then the keyboard bug, key's to do Altering and Switch hand doesn't exist,also try to use X360ce doesnt work well, anyone have the same issue?
As Tom said you need to learn everything. And i mean EVERYTHING. LIke how to digest meat. How to keep warm (No fire) How to pick two items up. How to combine items. There is no real help what so ever in the game even in full tutorial mode. You WILL get hurt, poisoned, break bones, bleed, DIE and restart! If you are looking for a survival game where you can monkey around (pun intended) then this is not the game for you. Iv been playing for 2 days now and only now just figured out how to get honey and to fight off predators effectively.
It's the full game, You need to play it first before unlocking the other modes to it. As to your other issues like not changing hands. You need to "Learn" those abilities. You are early mankind. everything needs to be learnt from scratch.

For me, I change the location of the hard drive and its work, (i was on an external one on the first try). If it's not your case try to allocate more memories on virtual. you can look on google how to do it, just write: Resolve ISDone.dll errors
I turned off my firewall and antivirus, allocated 3000 more memory,tried to install on both my hdd and sdd and still got this ISDone.dll error. Please somebody help . Updated video card drivers, still not working, They probabily the same shit s the devs of Titanfall 2 did. They programmed the game to not start if it doesnt detect a quad core CPU. Absolute bullshit. This is why i try the games before buying them.

Do you mean the Qbittorent file it tries downloading? As long as you already have a torrent client installed you can just close that window and continue downloading the ISO. I'm doing it right now.

No these are real things and you have the right to no like/complain about them. (My opinion) The no basket complaint seems weird to me. The store doesn't have that many games so is it really that bad to have to scroll for like 3-4 seconds to find the other game? The lack of rating system/review comment system is strange not to have but then again how hard is it too simply type in a search bar "game name" review? I nor any of my friends have tried getting a refund so i cannot comment of that. But if it's anything like steam/http://Battle.net - 2+ hours and no refund period then no i don't support that. As for exclusivity deals. I don't support them period with anything, be it a brick and mortar or digital store. But on that note remember for every 1 console game PC get 100-1000 so you really shouldn't complain if you need to download a FREE launcher to download and play the games. first i downloaded rad tools no help i use this codex pack for years but thnx It seems that game crashes always when bik is played. i even changed dll with this from senua hellblade (bik/unreal engine) it loads quicker but stil dies

I really don't understand the matter, Let's imagine: I click play, I play like I want to play, when I have finish I click back to desktop or alt+f4 And for the "I don't want to split my library, Is just shit, if you are not an idiot, you take the free game of epic or at least only when you like it, and your library becomes split anyways. (yes all free games are not good but its still free) I understand many people who take crake games for some reason, like, too poor for buy game, testing if here computer can handle it or testing the game before buying it. But take it to play when you can buy it & just because you don't want to play on epic.....
When google drive says too many downloads it isn't broken... I feel like this needs to be stickied to the top of every upload on this site from how many times I see this... but here goes again. Simply log into your google drive account. Next, click the google drive link here for the part you want to download. In the top right corner, click (add to my drive). Go to your google drive and find the file you added. Right click and click (make a copy). Once the copy shows up. Right click it and download from the copy. No more (too many downloads) message. Problem solved.

If you're playing with M+KB, it's probably a bug with the actual game. At the start of the game, it warns you that the game is meant to be played with Controller.

At the beginning of the game, it offers you a choice of difficulty and me being the kind of gamer that likes a challenge decided to pick the "No HUD, no tutorial" option. Don't be hasty its a game with a lot of perspective and its unique, the studio that made it its not so big, so small problems are to be expected. Its not that we paid for the game anyway.
I was able to successfully begin a game with no further issue after the "movie folder" trick. I did not play long as the game proved to be extremely complex and I needed to get to bed. Are you saying that taking out the "Movies" folder did not work for you at all? Did you ever get any further than the initial black screen w/game cursor? I did. As far as I could tell it was working 100%. I was controlling an ape, err...excuse me, an "Ancestor" and trying to wade through the controls complexity but thats another issue in and of itself.

Its a DELL XPS720 that is still a strong runner. I can still play better than 95% of games on IGG with high graphic settings. I've always said that if I can run a given game, anyone should be able to.

Maybe it's your hard drive. It's too slow or something. I don't have the best one but it works. It's probably just the game's issue. You can wait, maybe it will load.
I think it's your CPU, it's not enough. I didn't have any problems running the game on this setup: GTX1060 6GB + i5-9400F + 8GB RAM. Sorry to say, but I don't think you will be able to play this game :/

controls suck,
camera is too close,
you're super slow,
effects that make you unable to see for MINUTES,
you often get stuck while climbing,
you jump through branches that you want to grab...
also I had no clue what to do when I came to the area where you can't see at all (with the tiger cutscene)... that was aweful, too.
I just deleted it and now I am happy :D

If I want to start it with Daemon Tool only "Error image contains no files" comes up.
And the CODEX folder of the first part, after the installation is also empty xx. I read here that you don't need a crack for that, but without Part 2 you won't get anything? Why is Part 2 Iso empty?

Early on you basically can't fight things unless you are god speed.
Try fighting small snakes and hogs to learn how to better deal with things.
Also remember you must hold "space" OR "A/X (controller)
Then move left, right or back and release to dodge and forward/at the animal then release to attack.
Also animals require you be holding a stick/rock or you will still get hurt trying to attack them.
Or maybe you really are just having a bug.
