If the game opens Steam when you try to open it, you gotta crack the game.
Go to "Local Disk", "Program Files (x86)", "Bethesda Softworks", "Dishonored - Game of the year edition", "Binaries", "Win32", then copy-paste the contents of the crack folder named "PROPHET".
After I copied and pasted the prophet file I opened game its working at first but after loading It crashes can someone help me? I installed redist files too

Prophet folder i believe,copy/paste it to the game directory.It even says how to do it in the firts comment but some people are just lazy to read i guess
pretty late but its at the drive disk where you used wincdemu on and where you ran setup (its called PROPHET) then copy all the contents inside then paste in the game directory and replace it. youre probably new to this but its pretty normal happened to me as well.
Please read the pinned comment everyone. If your game redirects you to steam, crack the game. There should be a folder inside the game installer named prophet etc. Copy all the files in that folder and paste it to the install directory of your game. Use copy and replace

These were originally pre-order DLCs from separate shops (Walmart, Target, Tesco, etc.) If still not, then the files may be corrupted, or missing. In that case: re-download, delete prev. install, re-install from freshly downloaded setup and it should be fine.
after solving all problems when i finally got the game to start it crashed after the loading screen any suggestions for not crashing after loading screen? apparently many people have had that problem and reinstalling it hasnt worked

The problem wasn't anything major It's just they used Prophet to crack the game You follow all the steps on the installation guide page but
instead of looking for the codex folder you go into the prophet folder
copy the files there inside the folder called "dishonored.game.of.the.year.edition.MULTi5-prophet
go to where you've installed the game
open the folder called "dishonored - game of the year edition"
open folder "binaries"
go inside Win32
paste the files copied in step2
run the exe file
enjoy the game If the game crashes at the "press any button to continue screen" People say uninstalling and reinstalling the game helped solve that I didnt personally get that issue I just had the binkw..... Error or that i got sent to the steam login page Hope it helps

Perhaps it because your anti virus program on your PC, sometime it deletes a file names steam_api.dll from the prophet folder. You need to allow that file to run on your PC, that'll help I think
I installed the game and cracked it properly, but for some reason when I try to start the game, it gives me an error saying that it can't start. Nevermind. Reinstalled the game and the problem is fixed.

Your problem was you downloaded a fake file that was generated by an ad. When you click it the first time, it loads a new page and tries to give you a fake.
If anyone is having trouble installing please follow these steps:
Download all parts from this page.
Extract only part 1 (All parts are symbolically linked)
Mount iso file extracted using wincdemu and select a drive letter.
Run setup in the drive that shows up in my computer or this pc.
After install delete the rar files in your downloads folder to save space as well as unmount the iso and delete the setup files. (optional but recommended for space saving.) P.S. Mods can you pin this comment for all people to see. It would greatly help people out since there is confusion in the comments.

Yeah, it is completely different game. You can't download the 4th part for Dishonored 1 from anywhere and when I went to request section they told me that Death of the Outsider and Dishonored 1 are the same game, but they are NOT.
Nobody on staff cracks games. We only host cracked games that scene groups have released. Anything else on this site didn't need to be cracked (Steamworks being the exception, but only because it's trivial to circumvent).
Yes, Eveything's thouroughly scanned before being uploaded. Just make sure you don't download an ad, Pay attention to the file description, Anything that isn't rar or below 5mb size is not the game file.
You mod guys, should put the languages available in each game uploaded here. For saving time, downloading a game that isnt in your own language is annoying. Tracking down the language packs for every game uploaded to the site and then having to download the game and apply the language packs to verify that they work would be a massive time sink and would make doing other work here an impossibility. If you have your anti virus on, either: 1: Turn off you Anti-Virus program or 2: Go into you Anti-Virus settings and exclude the folder where you set up your game. Those are the options that have mainly helped me with my games suddenly having no .exe files

If you are not using linux don't worry about the wine bit, to reinstall windoes you erease the entire operating system look up how to reinstall your cirrent. Windows version... or try getting more ram/ better processor or gpu.
Hey, I need help, I go to extract Part 1 and it does this every time, I have downloaded all the other parts too, I used Mega to download. I use Z-Zip to extract. For some reason it doesn't work. Please Help.
Alright so i downloaded all the parts, extracted the first one and this is all that is in it. No .ISO files or crack folders itc. do i just run the setup as an administrator and the job is done?
have the same problem with "THIEF 2014", only that when i try to open it it crashes, i meet the min. requirements and have everything updated... And nobody helps me ;-;
I reccomend using 7zip,select all parts and right click,then click 'extract here'. Click setup and then you're done! (Yes,i tried opening an iso file with 7zip and it's worked :O!)
