I came here excited after finishing Wolfenstien:Old blood but this judging from the comments and cover art this game isn't faithful to the usual wolfenstien recipe? that's a real shame if that's the case, I was really looking forward to more of that.

So i inquired around a bit, checked gameplays, looked up the controversies related to this and it's connection to read some reviews, looked into politically charged story premise. I've never been interested in Wolfenstein games so i wanted to make sure i knew what was going on before concluding, so i asked hardcore fans about this game, and they also happen to be saying that this is a flaming heap of irradiated dogshit and that it's an insult to the franchise. So in conclusion, this did turn out to be a flaming heap of irradiated dogshit. Lmfao
I admit, this is very different from the usual Wolfenstein and the girls' banter can grate the nerves a bit, but then I've played plenty of games with male leads that have dialog that make me want to strangle the writers and voice actors. And yeah, the mission structure could've been more intuitive and varied, but I kinda like the more open nature as I always prefer open ended to linear, like the new Gears of War game coming up. That said, I freely admit this game is...well, an acquired taste and some just won't get into it, and that's cool. Not every game is for everyone.

I play the game for like 30 minutes. Then I exit the game and it starts back to beginning of level. It wont continue where I left off but oddly enough it saves the time played. Enemies killed etc. Anyone else having loading where they left off?

I have tried everything but game wont start! All C++ are installed, directx reinstalled, newest gpu drivers reinstalled, overlays disabled, AV disabled, firewall disabled or enabled no deference. Vulkan files checked (no amdvlk64.dll present). Tried all compatibility modes!
Sorry to hear this... 4 me i just installed with codex (no uninstall no sys data codex files copy) and the game works. So i dont think its because of the game. Do you get an error msg?
No errors. Nothing happens when i start the game. Same behavior with codex's "the path home" and "battlefront II". Other games run fine. Pc configuration: cpu 2700x, 16gb ram , gpu RTX 2070

Update: Found out it was a Bitdefender issue! The event viewer shows no activity when i run the exe. so i thought it wasn't the AV blocking the game! But when i excluded the exe from scanning...voila!!!!
Thx, I was searching for a solution for a long time. My Bitdefender also did not show any notification. I had to add the exe to exceptions for advanced threat protection. Also have to deal with Bitdefender Enterprise at work and this piece of shit is always a major pain in the ass. Worst AV ever.
I still dont get mine to work, I wont even have bitdefender, only windows built in defender. All my drivers and windows are up to date. Yet for some reason its still not starting... My entire drive where my games are installed is also added to the exclusions for the anti virus

I dont get it? I have a modern acer predator laptop with i7 7700HQ GPU, GTX 1080 and 32GB of ram. This game will only run at 16-20fps no matter what video setting I put it on. I have all of the latest games running at 60-120fps on ultra surely theres a bug or something.
It is strange this kind of issue, the only "BIG" différence between your config and mine is the graphics card ; mine is an AORUS RTX 2080 extreme. For the other components it's almost the same: I7 9700 and 32GO of ram . I run the game with 60 FPS on cinematics and 144 during the game in resolution 2560 x 1440 with Gsync on. Amho , i think there is a bug with the 1080 graphic card series.

Disappointing.. 4 main missions, The game is no longer centred on the scenario, Take everything that was bad in wolf 2 and make it a stand alone. Too repetitive, Have to do the same mission 30 times to advance in the story.

Have you installed it in compatibility mode (win 7/8 32 bit) works most of the time. If you install it this way you might not have any problems anymore

What cpu do you have? And how did you install the game specifically? Cuz i have a R7 2700 with a 2070 XC and my game runs on ultra with a minimum of 60 fps
i7-7700HQ CPU, 32GB Ram, GTX 1080. I downloaded the cracked version form here and did the usual install method. Its definitely not my laptop as I can run all new AAA games at ultra 60-120fps. This game cant even run on low at 20fps, perhaps a bug in the game.

Umm, wrong. They do improve. Look at The Crew and The Crew 2, idk look at R6 Siege, which was shit at the release but they managed to fix it and make it popular. They fixed For Honor's shitty serves. They completely changed the Assassin's Creed's gameplay (between the Unity and Origins). They did improve on Watch Dogs, I didn't really like the first one, but they did a great work with the second one and actually fixed what was wrong with the original. These are just a few examples. Still always doing the same things?

Assassin's Creed has improved, but the story sucks, the side missions are very repetetive (especially in Odyssey) and the world is nice looking, but feels empty, because the NPCs don't do much. Watch Dogs actually improved and that's why I like it. My hatred mostly comes from their microtransactions and bad bussiness model. They aren't as bad as EA, though.
