I have checked to make sure it has been installed correctly, it still crashes immediately. it says: Sightseer.exe caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) in module Sightseer.exe at 0033:88e661b7.
The game needs a Discord or STEAM application to run. So run either one of those in the background and the game should launch. If it's not, then you either need to update Framework (dotnetfix), or firewall (vcredist). And if that won't work, that means you PC specs are not up to par, and you won't be able to run it, 'till you update your PC.
I have steam running, my framework is up to date, no firewall, and my pc has gtx960m so that shouldn't be a problem. I reinstalled it, switched drives that it was on, double checked the crack, and still it crashes immediately after I open it.
In the game folder (where you've installed the game) is a _CommonRedist folder. Inside you have a Visual C++ runtime istalators 2010 and 2017. Install them (even if theoretically you have them up to date) both x86 and x64 versions. If that won't work, you might also try to do a fresh install of windows, 'cause that error you've described is a result of incorrectly configured system settings or irregularities in the Windows registry.
Game works fine, it has impressive graphics, involve using rover to extract minerals and build instruments & base. Map is huge and terrain looks good. You can generate world and start at any point.
"More in-depth review" combat, exploration, base-building... choose 2 for your early game ... as then... you can't do everything and don't have stuff setup (like outpost resource rigs going to the main base, or a lot of research facilities so you have parallel research... combat and civil...) Graphichs: -quite beautiful Gameplay: -server oriented ( made for you to log off and see a lot of resources in your containers the next day from your mining rigs) but you can still have fun single-player ... Audience: -Everyone really... Learning curve and other in-game things: -quite shallow for the first hour then after you get the research facility and find out some chemistry recipes it gets a bit steep just to get shallow again.. My opinion: -Try it, it's worth it and you can always go in sandbox and go nutz.... =]]]
It's quite fun... one tip... silicat or siliciu... can be mined from watersides... close to the water.. wasted a lot of time mining it from designated rocks... If you love exploring a lot ... try it..
