Before you start make sure you have properly installed the game and ran the registry file that came with it First open Registry editor ( windows button+R then type Regedit) Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AGES3 Applications\age\muvluv_pf_v11
Installation Make sure the paths specified above are correctly defined (exampl. C:\Users[Your Username]\Muv.Luv.Photonflowers ) The easiest way to find the path is to go to the game folder and copy the searchbar/address bar Note that "http://photonflowers11.rio" is a file and must be added to the end of the "strObjectOcean" path rvmmInstallation Repeat the process noting again to add " \Vmreg\ " at the end of the "strVirtuaRegistryAbsolutePath" path Optionally you can go to >steamSettings and change the "bUucUseSteamRemoteStorage" value to 0 (double click and type it) This last part was supposedly important to the process but my testing didn't actually require it. I choose to mention it anyway. I'm not really an expert on the matter but this amount of tweaking fixed the save issue for me.
review: it's everything you'd expect as kind of a supplement of both Ex world and Alt world. obviously you'll gonna have to play the main game first which was fan translated over a decade ago. and... that's pretty much it. I can't say anything that would avoid spoilers. would I recommend this? no and play the main game instead. only play this after recovering from the horrors of Alt world. and again, I can't say anything without avoiding spoilers.
The maiin game was translated by fans years ago, but there is also an official translation of it now, using the fan translations as a base after it was purchased from them.
