I've submitted several update request already for this game being that this version is unplayable. NaN bug, and wood's broken leaving you with bugged pH results killing all your fish within seconds :)
But they don't care even though it's been a month and behind on 3 updates :s

The game is currently unplayable because of this bug:

The workaround that dev mention sounds ok... until you realize there are like 30 or 40 values to edit, and you must do so with figures that make sense, no random copy-paste.
So we'll have to wait a hotfix to be released... and hopefully, cracked.
BTW, the game looks pretty great (not a lot of content though), you can tell it's aimed to be a more or less realistic simulator.

Those big aquariums you see are soooo much work and effort in maintaining. They are pretty and a great conversation piece, but not worth it unless you have the money to hire someone to maintain it for you.

I've never had one but I don't think it's THAT hard. You just need to learn how to maintain fish and water ok (a few hours researching) and spend some time watching it, adding and changing stuff, etc. Of course, if you just want to look at it and invest zero effort, better play the game. But I don't think anyone would be so stupid to invest the amount of money it requires if they don't love the hobby enough to also invest time taking care of it.

It's not that hard I have nearly 1,000 gallons of water in my home and I spend like 3 hours a week on maintaining the tanks.
I keep freshwater communities and cichlids, salt water is more time consuming and expensive for sure but it can be fun as well.
There's a saying in fishkeeping, you don't keep the fish, you keep the water.

Trust me, start with the simulator. Majority of people that get into fish keeping end up killing them all for the first few times not knowing the maintenance of the water. When you have fish, you arent taking care of them, you're taking care of their water that they live in with a proper nitrogen cycle, ph etc etc
