if you're looking for solid STG's, check out Devil Engine, ZeroRanger , monolith , game tengoku , or Super Hydorah. If you're just looking for bullet hell, they're a dime a dozen.
Can you recommend some nice visual "easy" bullet hell games for beginners like me? Interest in the gerne but afraid it will be hard for casual like me...
if you're looking for vertical bullet hell, you can't go wrong with any Touhou games, they always have a variable for difficulty to get it just where you're comfortable. If you're looking for a slower experience that you control, check out MOnolith - it plays like The Binding Of Isaac, but you're a ship. for sidescrolling stuff ( the easiest form of STG games ) Super Hydorah would suit you just fine. You can save the game whenever you want, it has multiple branching paths, tons of unlockable ship additions ( liek sub weapons, main weapon, bombs ) and it runs at a nice, slow pace. Another easier Vertical STG is Game Tengoku : Crusin mix - but you won't find that on IGG - the base game is 30 bucks. It's a saturn remastering, so if you have an emualtor - you can scoop it up.
yeah ...and i give up on this one after 15 mins of confusing. especially the text on this game is just really pain to read to the point that i can't tell what this game try to tell me how to play it.....crap.
graze counter is a pretty sub-par game. not bad by any means, just not super exciting. a bit slow, too. if you want super nitro fuled insanity, check out RYM-9000 that is one of the fastest STG's i've ever seen. perhaps not bullet hell, but it's just so fast and the visuals are so intense!
