i believe they use a 3rd party DLC verification. I tried using Dream API on my legit version and it says I have installed it but same error here.
The DLC seems to work with the latest version. Also you can bind it to your epic games account. I imagine if you own the game legit form the giveaway and the dlc from this crack things should work rather smoothly.
I'm just letting people that read these comments know that, out of many Early Access games, this one seems to be in a particularly early stage of said access, and it might be wiser to just wait for the full release instead. You're clearly slow, so I'm trying to help you by explaining and re-phrasing what I've already said.

Roadmaps for games these days tend to fail abysmally. Or they get scrapped and rebuilt from scratch, leaving people wanting the return of much of the previous roadmap.
