OMG this is bad... One of the biggest disappointments of 2019 for sure. The feeling is really terrible. Pixel art is very good, music is awesome(imho), but when you compare to the fighting mechanics of, for example, https://igg-games.com/dead-cells-136311470-free-download.html, it's really extremely poor. Even the platforming feels completely wrong. I uninstalled it after 30 minutes. The developer said that he listened to the critics, though, and it's possible that he'll implement block, and improve other things, hopefully. So let's see how he improves it!
It's definitely a marketing conspiracy that they made a game called Warlocks about warlocks in order to pander. "God Slayers" is obviously a ripoff of "God of War" and the band "Slayer". And 2? Yeah, way to copy every sequel ever. Try something original like "God Slayers 360".
