Protip: NPC AI is rather dumb when fighting. A rushing strike is 90% successful on melee enemies and can be done numerous times as long as there's enough space to run back and attack again. You can also land a successful backstab on any NPC by running through them and quickly flicking the opposite direction and hitting attack at the same time. This also works well on special attacks or getting a heavy hit on those who answer the door. also pls nerf vampire class. is too op.

you could get those soundtracks on youtube using a converter from many sites everything else you can see it on youtube the older builds are pretty much the same shit as the game except without shadows, dynamic lighting and other effects

My save file got deleted when I was messing around with the Assembly-CSharp file for some reason, so I'm back to square one as well. Yes. I extract and there is no simplex.exe Edit: My .rar must have had an issue. I redownloaded it and extracted and the simplex.exe was there this time. Thanks
I don't have an antivirus (shut down windows defender anyways and no change) and there is only one exe. (unarc.exe) and it isn't working. Tried on another PC with the same result as well.

Links are not dead. Make a google drive account. Once that's done, click on the google drive download here. Top right click add to my drive. Then go to your google drive storage. Right click on the file and click make a copy. Once its copied right click on the copy version and hit download. Now it will download without the "too many people" warning.
Ezpz i heard some of you are downloading viruses on accident. this is mostly common when using the megaup links. If you have prompt before download enabled on your browser, take a look at the extension of the file you're going to download. if it's an .exe, it's definitely malware. if it's a .zip extension with the name of the game, then go ahead and download. What I usually do in when using megaup is I continuously click the download button and click out of ads until I get prompted to download the correct .zip.
They are not virus, the exe file of watherever has a similar structure to a virus, for some reason, or something like that, but its not something to worry i have like 15 games from this page and all gave me that "Virus Warning" it isnt danine.

The game is slightly buggy like that the same happened with my xbox controllers apparently the setting had a button registered as pressed the entire time. I had to go to settings and callibrate it to get it to work. you will be able to tell if its broken via going to the system thing your trying to do like which button fires and pressing the button it should go from zero to 1. hope this helps.

To the people who don't trust simplex because of the false positive, I would also advise you to make sure that you've actually downloaded the game instead of some ad. If it's smaller or larger than 107 mb, then it's an ad. IGG-Games won't have passwords on their unzip option, an ad will.

The past few games I've downloaded from here have started having SiMPLEX installers, instead of the usual CODEX or just source folder with the .exe, and it's been triggering Windows Defender which makes me a little nervous, but so far it hasn't actually done anything and is just a false positive. Honestly the only reason I didn't just immediately delete it as soon as it alerted me was because I've used IGG-GAMES for probably years now, and I've never gotten an actual virus or any form of malware from any of their direct links. They're the first site I go to when I'm looking for a free version of a game. They're the first site I recommend to any of my broke friends who want to try out a game before they actually buy it, and they've definitely earned my trust.
Tried the google drive link. Installed it. When I try to boot the game thru the shortcut it says it did not find the game and when I try to boot up thru the exe nothing comes up

You'll only get a virus if you click on the ad provided downloads that take less than a second to download. You'd really have to be foolish to think that the false ad download is the real one.

theres no virus, its just a false positive, the file size difference is because before it was just game files, now it is an installer so it is more compressed

Like the developer himself says (and I said it on my blog too), it's a bit like Deus Ex in 2D. Well, especially if you use the hacker... If you use the gorilla, it's another story. ha ha I'm surprised it's already out of early access now, though. I think the latest version was v0.81.🤔
