odd my game no longer works! i uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it still doesnt work! Ok looks like i gotta reinstall with the short cut added hopefully this fixes the problem!
I played the earlier version of KW2 and had issues with cards, techs and save files. I tried this version but cant seem to solve the problem. What do i have to do to make the features work properly?
wow game is very difficult i played my first game on skirmish i had zombies,monsters and 3 other players all invade me all at once and i manufactured swordsmen,archers, macemen and halberds,crossbowmen,cavalry like a ww2 auto plant! Popping them out, holding the tide back for over an hour since they were all at my gate. I was lucky enough to get one peasent unit outside my gate and had him keep building behind my castle! so i kept getting resources but after an hour all 3 ai teams seemed to get much better tech than me and they very slowly pushed me back over the next half hour until i had to admit defeat! and that was on the easiest mode the game has!!!
In order to get the game to work, Check "Desktop shortcut" when installing. Run the shortcut as administrator and it should work. Otherwise just make a shortcut from the luncher, Right click it go to properties, On the target field, add -dev86 at the end
i've done all you said, the game starts but after the loading screen, it goes black and i can see only the cursor, tried to reinstall several times, what shoul i do?
OK! finally!!!! i turned steam on again! i reinstalled it and the only way this game worked for me was i had to use the short cut it made thru the game installer i also had to install it into my steam directory i was putting it in my c drive like my other games and opening steam separately it didn't work! So once i installed it into my steam directory i put the crack in and it worked i tried to open game again the other way and it didn't work! So just follow what i did and game should work good luck everyone!
For all of you that are having problems and aren't aware of how cracking works. For the game to run you'll need to crack the game using the cracked files in the HOODLUM folder in the .iso file you download. Just copy them over to the game's directory.
Run the shortcut as administrator and it should work.
Otherwise just make a shortcut from the luncher, Right click it go to properties, On the target field, add -dev86 at the end
Edit: It doesnt require steam to be open though, You only need to run it from the shortcut.
