I can't seem to open the game after installing it, I follow all the step, disabled firewall, add exclusion for Windows security, adding codex file after install and still can open the damn game. It just don't start. Need help Win 11 R9 7945HX & RTX4070

Thanks, works fine in VR on Rift CV1. You need to enable VR from menu, press B for the menu, it will skip the movie. There is a lot of 2D stuff in VR on a big screen, be patient and wait for the 3D part, it worth playing it.
yeah agree, since the game good review not come from game play (honestly i feel like it a bit easy even on hardest mode since our battle frame is really strong) but from the story. and that also where bad review come from either, because the eng voice not really fit with the characters in the story, some time desync lips, some time feel a bit awkward. when the jap voice version (it seem that version also have eng subs on it too...what da hell?) you will have the feeling like you watching the high quality animation made by Sunrise (in fact sunrise also made the animation from this game too).
if you didn't know yet. i recommend you watch the animation "Zone of the Enders - Dolores, I" (better watch its ova before the series) that where the real gem is. even this one may make you impress, the anime story is much more unique. yeah even it is the anime made by sunrise back in 2001. well that remind me how many good and unique anime back in that era...yeah...where it less stereo type than this day.
For those with no audio: Went into my sound properties>playback and right clicked on my sound device and clicked properties. Under "enchancements" my "disable enhancements" box was checked. Unchecked it but it didn't work. Restarted computer with the box still unchecked. Ran game and boom, audio is back. I thought to myself that couldn't be right so tried checking the box again and no sound, and then unchecking it still no sound until I restarted. Nani the fuck? Anyway, it's working now, also got it to work with DFX as well, under the DFX properties in "advanced" just check the box "enable audio enhancements" and remember to set your speakers as your default audio device even if it keeps jumping to the DFX Speakers. Works fine for me now.
nahhh in my case i just plug my usb headset/sound card at the back of my pc case (directly to my mobo), and the problem solved. however what funny is as long as i not plug it at the back of my case, disable sound enhancement or disable sound onboard won't make the audio come out.....awkward.
I think your anti-virus ate it. If you have one, check your Quarantine and then find out how to stop your real time scanning of your anti-virus from getting rid of it.
"Is this game better than New Gundam Breaker?" well for me it, the game play both are a mob buster game where both of them not the best nor the worst. then what selling point ? this game is its an animation story like where the jap voice is the best and eng voice not bad ...but well...it a bit not really fit in. and in gundam case..it for gundam plastic model (aka figure) fans. well it fun with the part that you can mod your plastic model without fear that you may break it like you do on the real thing.
only downside i can found is the jap voice version is so damn good and better than eng dup. however sadly this game sale in awkward way even on console, where only the copy that sale in japan can has jap voice when the rest will have only eng dup.... what da hell are they thinking back there ...i wonder ?
That is sad to hear. I usually select Jap voice in any games even I don't understand it but still it makes me feel like watching anime while playing games and that's cool.
yeah but i feel it waste for not have jap voice since the feeling and emotion is far better. yes at least from what i saw from the console version, since in my country there are many shops import it from japan to sell here.
Yup. I always looking for Jap voice because of the emotion of course. I remember looking for Tales of Abyss with Jap voice but still cannot find it anywhere.
You are far too kind, Ash...this English dub, while not quite on original Resident Evil levels of bad, is still fairly "ugh", and this is coming from someone who usually picks the English dud in games for convenience sake..
Maybe it's cause i grew up with the ENG dub(I bought this game on ps2 day one and played the fuck out of it back in the day) but i don't find it to be that bad. Not good, but not bad either. Certainly tolerable. And this comes from someone who usually prefers the Japanese voice acting because, let's face it, the Japanese are much better actors
i just did download and watch some episodes the anime that made by sunrise. well i really surprise how i miss this one back there. the story of this game may be satisfy you but...honestly the anime even do better. one of the good and unique anime even it from year 2001....wait ? i think that year sunrise also made Big O anime too. yeah that one also a good unique classic anime.
is that mod still work ? from steam, it seem many mod of voice mod stop working after a certain update. or it just desync all over the place. ps seem that mod not free, it look like it need to register and donate for download it some how. and also get reported on steam that it buggy...plus it dev seem left it like that with no new update.
I tried it for the first part of the game and it is in the quality of the voice mod for ps3 it is normal that lipsync is a little off beacuse they made it for eng voice i prefer to have desync when i look on their lips rather than pain for my ears for the whole game. There is nothing bad in it rather than that lipsync problem you can play without any other problem mod is free donation is only an option to the site.
Apparently, there is a VR mode, but on Steam they're saying there's a non VR mode. Gonna download and check, since it's on sale on GreenManGaming, and I want to make sure I can play it properly.
nahhh i did it already. no VR needed, you can play with controller with x-input. but the real problem is it has no sound. it is bug that reported since it released back in 2018 and sadly no way to fix it. plus the dev seem long gone too. and another thing that make it get a bad review is the game has a region locked on the japanese voice. only download this game in japan can have jp voice. or you will get an eng dup voice which is unsync and come with an awkward translation.
from what i saw in steam comm, i seem not work cause it desync and bug the game out. and from the website of this mod, dev seem not update to fix it too. well i really feel hopeless here.
Damn, Konami really crapped the bed on this one...the game keeps crashing every now and then. I'm scared to try the mod for fear of making it even worse.
yup mod come with more bugs. i think that why dev of 2 jap voice mod stop update it. more than that i heard its console version (ps2 ?) also sale the same way. region locked on jap voice....
found a fix for the sound issue switch the sound options from Speaker to Headphone in game. disable the High Def Audio Device and other audio devices you are not using in Device Manager.
ok i found the fix ! in my case i have to plug my usb headsets directly to the mobo (back of pc case). however i feel a bit waste when think about how good the jap voice version is, and no way to use it without causing bugs on eng dup version......goddamn it !
