Those are for DLC. The game is just setup_spaceengine_ with version info. I'm assuming each .exe for the other stuff is setup for DLC? Uncertain why it's made in such a way, the DLC are free.
i know how to fix problem with 0xc0000142 if u have it! just download base game and download fro the og website space engine version 0.980 and just replace the files that was in 0.990 and remember to to this in os or it might not work btw space engine 0.980 like i said replaces the files but it also add the files needed to launch space engine 0.990! soo be happy!
if you have a nvidia gpu then its a glitch, latest nvidia drivers made space engine break and they havent gotten to updating it to a version after the patch

I wouldn't recommend it just for running space engine, new drivers are better for every other game. Also you need to completely uninstall your current drivers first and get the old driver version that works with the game, i am not sure which last version worked with space engine
Hi, I have a problem with this download. I downloaded via torrent and when I try to launch the game, it instantly crashes ("Space Engine has stopped working" on the loading, with no error code or description). I've tried a lot of this. Uninstall/reinstall openal32.dll. Uninstall reinstall all the needed Visual C++ Redistributions. Rebooted several times between all this. I even tried compatibility mode... Does anyone have the same issue as me ? It doesn't seem to be the same as everyone here. Please,I really would like to try this game before putting 20€ in it. Thanks. EDIT: I tried to play the old free version and it crashes as well... So now I know it doesn't come from the crack. If someone can help though, it'd be great.

Download SPACEENGINE V0.990.34.1630 if you dont want all dlc. The game is 3.8 gb without the dlc's, after that update the game to V0.990.36.1665. The reason why the game it's so big (50gb) it's because of the high resolution pack and other shit.

The patch "V0.990.36.1665" is just a compendium of hot fixes and tweaks so don't expect a big file. You just need to download the "all in one" files (50 GB+DLC) or the light one without DLC's "V0.990.34.1630". Then apply the patch "V0.990.36.1665". And that's all...

Yes I tried it on the Rift but it's overall quite hard to get around the controls and menus, and you'll need a slightly better rig for this than your average VR game to run it smoothly.

For anybody wondering, this does appear to still be V0.990.34.1625 (or that's what it states when you launch the game) I guess we could always just wait until the next major update gets uploaded. SpaceEngineer said that development times should shorten after the steam release.

So I've downloaded the file without the DLC's but when I try running the Space Engine application it says that It can't run because of the error 0xc000007b. I've updated my .NET Framework and openAl and I'm on Windows 10 and sadly I can't find a solution to this problem myself... I hope someone can help me!

on update SpaceEngine v0.990.34.1630, when extract over existing version, its still reporting older version 0.990.33.1625...not sure its update or developer didn't change the version execute ??

For those who can't approach a black hole without crashing SE program just follow this: -Go to Config folder. -Open "Main-user" file with a notepad. (backup) -Search and change "true to false" the next parameters: "MipmapsGUI", "MipmapsFrame", "MipmapsEnv" It should work.

IT JUST WORKS... all i did is using windows 10 1809 version, and i haven't updated 1903 yet for may release and i have all vcredists install, then make sure i using my latest video drivers...that fix this all my games since i did that year ago...its very common sense..but space engine is never finalize the game..its still have some bugs like 0.981 beta 9 i have more bugs but its nothing gonna ruin my experience ..this app is very demanding on memory...ask yourself..if it worth 60$ for a beta still ??? its like starcitzen..but you all know...starcitzen is far from finish

The game is only 4gb on steam. The HD planet textures for Earth, Mars, etc are what make it 50GB they are optional to download on steam. And the program is fully usable without them. The 60 dollar "PRO" version only adds a few extra features that no regular person would use. Only if your exporting textures or skyboxes from the game. Only by people who very specifically want unlimited export resolution fir textures. only Dev stuff. Just download nvidia inspector, select spaceengine profile and change "Extension limit" in the "common" tab to 0x0000A474 (Growtopia). You can select it on the drop down. Hit apply and it should work

You just need to download the "all in one" files (50 GB+DLC) or the light one without
DLC's "V0.990.34.1630".
Then apply the patch "V0.990.36.1665".
And that's all...
V0.990.36.1665: how do I add this update? I didn't install the dlcs, I went the light version 1630. How do I apply the 1665, the website doesn't really explain it well and it seems outdated. Thanks in advance

you could've just said 'wait guys we need time' but rather you decided to put the same basic version. I thought if the developer forgot but it is not. the main fix from 1625 to 1630 is the intel hd graphics texture bug fix. it is is there. SO IT IS NOT UPDATED.

I a following space engine for long yes i waited 3 year since 0.980
but i had a grpahics card at one point and was able to smoothly fly thru all those 10 magnitude increased star field.
all i did is using windows 10 1809 version, and i haven't updated 1903 yet for may release and i have all vcredists install, then make sure i using my latest video drivers...that fix this all my games since i did that year ago...its very common sense..but space engine is never finalize the game..its still have some bugs like 0.981 beta 9 i have more bugs but its nothing gonna ruin my experience ..this app is very demanding on memory...ask yourself..if it worth 60$ for a beta still ??? its like starcitzen..but you all know...starcitzen is far from finish

But i think its a good thing that SE on steam now Epic Games is verify infamous because of their greedy tactics and anti-consumer practises that give it a bad name. Plus Space Engineer chose steam because of its community It will benefit from things like Steam Workshop. and it already has VR support
