Oh wow, I thought I wouldn't like it, but I think it's actually pretty good. Gameplay is almost 100% like the original. (So, yes, it's dated, but it's still ok.) Music is nicely remastered, but you can select the original OST if you want. And I really love the graphics. Don't mind the screenshots and silly look of the monkey's face, it actually looks waaaaaay better in motion. Everything is very nicely animated, and the retro filters are a nice touch. Only ONE problem: it's still a damn hard game. I can't play games in which I can die in just one hit, it's too frustrating for my nerves. One good thing though: you have many lives and respawn not far from where you died. If you're a good player and love platformers, go for it, it gets almost everything right, I think. If you're a noob like me, get ready for many ragequit moments. Oh, also, it's a short game, you can complete it in 30 minutes if don't die, I think.
Oh, my... The creature that haunted my childhood for years... xD I played the one on Mega Drive once, when I was a Loli, and never played it again, because that disgraced monkey scared me like no Horror movie was capable to. (>.<")
cash grab i dont think so the price its fine( even it has a -10% discount) cash grab would be like octopath traveler the price its ridiculous for a sprite based one thing for sure however this game fits better on handhelds rather than pc/consoles
