Kortal returned and restarted the servers. Sadly a large part of the community left the discord server after a prolonged time when the servers were offline. Very few remain today. And what I remember being almost constantly full server is nowadays empty. The BT community is gone which saddens me immensely.
Just posting this here since this was the way I discovered his servers 3 years ago. I have since bought the game but for people like me who didnt have the money this could be a good alternative.
Anyone able to get mods running on the new version? I've tried modifying the files, didn't get far. Two months ago a reply stated they fixed it by 'enabling' in settings after it didn't work. The issue here is that mods are being deleted. I remember running into this issue a while ago but can't see to fix it anymore nor find how I fixed it.
Figured it out, go into filelist.xml(my text software) and along the line that shows path, make sure the name to your file is the same. Ex: [path="Mods/Rucksack 2.0/filelist.xml"], File Folder is called Rucksack 2.0 so it paths correctly. Secondly delete [steamworkshopid="214872183"] and it won't be deleted. Launch the game and make sure it loads! If it doesn't work, sorry.
I used to be able to play multiplayer on the previous version, 1.0.21, now on the new versuon 1.1.19 it just dosent work, is there a multiplayer fix i need?
As far as I'm aware (if they haven't patched it yet), you can download the fix from the online-fix russian website, apply it to the igg version and it should allow you to play invite-session games with your steam friends.
Hey guys, I used to be able to play the older versions of Barotrauma just fine, but this new version is somehow not working on my PC. Now when I click on the game icon, nothing happens, not even an error message. How do I fix this? Can anyone help?
