Finally took the time to try this, and... It's actually not bad at all, but... What is the point when you can have Sim City 4, which is infinitely superior, and still the best 2D modern city builder ? Basically, it does what Sim City 2000(3000?) and Sim City 4 did , but everything is worse. Definitely, if you don't like SimCity (some don't like the UI of SC4), then it's a good alternative.
Every time I click on the game to start it starts but then the steam app starts. And when I try to start by LAUCHER_X64 it opens but then closes. Does anyone know how to solve?

mobile version has limited content you need to unlock by grinding the diamond or pay for it, not to mention some of them are limited and not transferable between map and its not easy to mod

Yes. First entry on the Worklog: 09.01.2008 and there they said it startet Sept. 2007. I think i follow it since summer '09 But they rewrited the whole code a multiple times!
