guys its easy, i have Oculus quest 2 and i solved by adding -vr in the target field in the shortcut properties like the screenshot above, just plug your controller and play :D
.bat files are on the main game install path on another release, I copied the bat for "steamvr" to the skidrow release(with expansion) and it worked on my vive. The contents of the bats(you only need the one for your platform): TroverSteamVR.bat
@REM This will run Trover with SteamVR start Trover.exe -vr -hmd=SteamVR
TroverOculusVR.bat
@REM This will run Trover with OculusVR SDK start Trover.exe -vr -hmd=OculusHMD
TroverOSVR.bat
@REM This will run Trover with OSVR start Trover.exe -vr -hmd=OSVR
i made a txt document called TroverSteamVR.bat and TroverOculusVR.bat then typed out both combinations as bats (start Trover.exe -vr -hmd=OculusHMD ) etc and dropped it into just next to the .exe file and it doesnt work was that what you meant?
sorry late response I didn't get notification, you have to launch the game from the bat file and use the correct .bat file for your VR headset, if the bat file opens the text on double click, it means you need to "show extensions in explorer"(google it) and ensure the file extension is .bat not .txt. If it still doesn't work it is possible the igg download changed for one that doesn't support VR but I think it's highly unlikely
in the folder of the game it self create a new Text file and paste the following line start Trover.exe -vr -hmd=OculusHMD then save it under the name TroverOculusVR.bat if you want to play it through Oculus software, or type the following start Trover.exe -vr -hmd=SteamVR then save it under the name TroverSteamVR.bat if you want to play it through Steamvr software,
Downloaded the game and everything works fine, besides that I cant run it in vr. I've read the post and cant seem to find the .bat files anywhere in the folder. Am I looking in the wrong place?

i have a problem, every time i open the game it gives me a black screen and does nothing else, i cracked the game and did everything i could,i downloaded the game from goggle docs if thats importent
For some reason the exe file is not opening as my computer is detecting it as a virus. I've tried turning off anti virus and firewall and nothing worked. Is there another fix?
EDIT:: Appearently THe disk space is a bit not enough. for completing install you needed 20+ gb space. not just 20gb. but the game is not really 20 gb tho. Stuck at 90% regardless teh install location and options. Tried on Win 10.
Heya after launching in vr SteamVr to be precise, the game tells me to press any button to continue. the only thing is no button will make it continue. not on my controller or keyboard. I am using trinus psvr. any help would be appreciated...

Click on the batch file (.bat) for your headset... it's not that hard... If you have a rift you click: TroverOculusVR.bat For just about anything else just use: TroverSteamVR.bat It's literally found in the exact same spot as the exe for the game, so I'm not sure how they can be missed.
Where exactly are the (.bat) files? Im in the file where i installed Trover, but all i see is : Engine, Trover, WindowsNoEditor, Manifdest_debug,Manifest_Non, Trover (exe/aplication) What exactly am I missing?!?
for some reason when you use mega to download it brings up false file.exe to download. keep clicking on Download and at some point the actual File starts to download. you can tell bcz its 4 gb file not 1mb. same thing happend to me that was my fix.
Did you download an exe file? When opening the exe, did you get a rar file, or am I missing something? If the above is true, you downloaded an ad, make sure you get the correct file.
Okay, I haven't installed this one yet but generally when that happens what you have to do is open the ISO and grab the "HOODLUM" folder and move all of the content of it into the main install directory for the game. That's the crack.
My installation got stuck almost at the end, someone got the same problem? Fix: Even when the ISO is 8GB and the game is 16GB, make sure you have at least 18GB free or it will get stuck.
Disc C for Windows. Disc E for games at cetera. No, I dont do anything else. Well before that i extract iso file with winrar, but just this didnt help. Just when i choose disc D it's finish install.
Thanks! It helped me indirectly. It seems that the installation needs more space than the actual game to complete and the disk were I installed it was full just for it. I cleared 1GB more and it worked.

Hey There! Any idea on how to get this to work with Windows Mixed Reality. I launch it and it wont accept input from anything besides the keyboard. Also the headset is not centered, I spawn like 4 feet above where im supposed to be. Any ideas on how to fix the input( ive tried the windows mr controllers as well as an xbox controller but neither work.
Still getting the same error. I've tried creating a folder on desktop > extracting into folder > extracting the iso into the folder > run as administrator > move install folder to directory I also tried not making a folder at all and doing everything to my desktop instead and same error.
download poweriso to mount the iso image to a virtual disc drive. once poweriso is installed, just right click the iso and look for the cd icon, then mount image to whatever drive letter isn't being used. hope that works.
you should self extract with admi rights. your unzipping program needs admin rights to do this. and as for mounting, just have windows explorer mount the " disk drive " to run the game installer./
er, came back here to calrify. I had installed th3e adult swim font to make a thumbanil, and it over rides the default web view font for reaons I'll never understand
gamne works, it just won't install to your C/programs, install it anywhere else and it runs fine. if you're playing VR, launch the game with the appropritate VR EXE
I am stuck, I have everything so far done, but when I try to open TroverSteamVR it opens for a split second then closes and the store page for it appears, is there a way around this?
I've found a work around through steam, add the game as a non steam game, then right click on it>properties>set launch options... and put this in the blank line:
-vr -hmd=SteamVR and click 'OK' works for me, hope it helps :D.

Seems someone has never heard of a false positive. A lot of virus scanners add basic cracks into their database to fool people that don't have the aptitude to actually search and educate themselves. Fools gonna get fooled in other words.
