Oh wow, it's the first time I hear about this game, and I LOVE it!
And I usually think I'm too old for childish platformers like this. lol
The gameplay is very rich and never boring, I feel like it always tries to innovate.
Levels are super colorful and inviting, and I love how the OST is not "in your face" and almost relaxing at times. The game is easy imho, which is perfect for not-so-good gamers like me. lol
A great adventure!
Edit: I also compared to the emulated version on Dolphin. I THINK there's a widescreen hack for Dolphin, but I didn't manage to make it work, so it was 4:3. Also, even if you change settings to improve graphics and resolution, I feel like this PC version still looks better! I think it's the better version overall.
Edit #2 : My bad, after meddling with Dolphin settings, it's actually possible to totally make the emulated version look as good as the PC version. The widescreen hack does work perfectly.😉 So I'm not sure if I need this anymore after all. lol

I never played the first one. But it looks nostalgic. It reminds me of those classic, friendly characters from my childhood. Klonoa, Ristar, that mouse with the knight armor... (>w<)
