This game has solid design in both gameplay mechanics and art, and can be a lot of fun if you haven't played many card/rpg hybrid games, but it's also not original or inovative in any way, so if you're a bit demanding of your games, this one may bore you quickly (as it did me).
Anyone know where are the save folder? I want upgrade the game to the latest version. Also I want know ¿how I can take screenshots of the game?. I try with Impr Pant PetSis but doesn't work with Paint, the screenshot showed is a black background.
Yeah, I thought it was a turn-based RPG type game with some kind of card integration... =X Oh well... it's Image & Form and part of the SteamWorld universe - so I'm gonna stick with it - at least until I've played for another hour or so - until I figure out if I wanna throw down the $$ or not... =/ Their other game - SteamWorld Heist - didn't really click with me at first - but after about 2 hours of gameplay, I found myself hooked on it until I completed it - and then I 100%'d all of the achievements and wound up considering it one of the better iPhone ports I had played. So...
Arcade beat-em-up games are on average much less interesting, if you ask me. Sooo many of them just rely on the old formula and add nothing new or interesting to it. On the other hand, almost every single card game I've played so far has tried to do things in a different or interesting way, because the card-based format allows for much more flexibility. Beat-em-ups feel more appealing, because they're faster-paced, real time, they look flashy... and who doesn't like that, honestly. But they're always much more shallow than a card game at the end of the day. Even this one, which isn't particularly deep, is more interesting than your average beat-em-up.

Only 2 chapter done and I can say this devs team does better every time.
for a second i though this was an arcade beat me up
i am sure it would be better than a turn based card game :S
=X
