Better late than never: For anyone having problems getting your cheap no-name gamepad to run even if you use x360ce. Try renaming the xinput1_whatever.dll into xinput9_1_0.dll. Seems like that's the only xinput file the game loads and fixed my controller problem.

while i get stable 60FPS, i keep getting that pixel and rainbow color in many scene. hell i even get freeze and hang while playing these game follow by blue screen machine_error_exception. which i never get when i play heavier games like AC odysey.. the witcher 3 just cause 4 or GTA V. conclusion= very bad port game!

Its a visual novel with rpg elements you dolt , "Switch between the RPG action of the game world and the visual novel segments of the real world." it's not the developer's fault that the people that play the game don't read what genre the game is in the first place.
And even if a part of it is a Visual Novel (which is basically the budget version, if you can't animate cutscenes), it doesn't have to drown the gameplay in endless walls of text.
In all fairness though, it doesn't say in the tags but the game description does say it. If you know who made the game, you'd know that they make this style of game. I guess do the research beforehand (and quick reminder, you're on a cracked game website)
Played PS4 version, my opinion? Nope, not even worth trying a cracked version! Do yourself a favor, stay away from this game even if you have the money, because it's just unworthy. The character looks attractive, I agree. But don't you fall for that.
Excuse me, i just installed the game but when i run the game it said application is not working so i tried to restart my pc launch the game again and it works for just a couple of seconds longer black screen then another crash so yeah i have tried to find a way to play the game but still cant so does any one have any idea how to fix it ?
For me, i've already met the minimum requirements even fulfilled some of the recommends: windows 10, 64-bit with 12 directx, and i got nvidia 940mx. Well certainly my memory is only 4gb so it is minimum. So, the prob here is that the game is still slow i've installed all from commonredist folder but still slow. Want to set the resolution at the options menu but no settings about display.

as in running it through steam (bought the game)? usually my steam save files are at C:\ Program files(x86)\ steam\ userdata you'll see a bunch of numbered folders, each folder is the app id number you have to "know" what the app number is, or open each folder one by one (for this game it might be 990050) the save files are named (for example slot 1) "savelist0000_game.bin" so you can't find it in the folder I said above, search your PC for that filename.

am I the only one who was looking for like a world map or something to jump to previous areas? guess the game has you walk everywhere, had to walk back to the castle first area of the game, took me about 6 mins just dashing over there... the teleport stones really should jump you to every place, not just in the same map unless something later in the game lets you jump around, i might have to ignore some quests
tried to help an NPC and game over, walk into a corrupted door game over, at some point it's actually annoying but i let it slide cause you can save on practically any story scene, even on a choice selection (i guess some points you can't but haven't run into that)
decent progress into this game, there's so many "bad ends" for example, dying on the tutorial fight triggers a story scene and gives you some defense item when you reload. one point you see a corrupted door, run into it anyways to trigger a bad end one of the boss fights you hit escape, and bad end. lot of the story choices trigger bad ends. make sure to save regularly (you can save DURING story scene choices too) these ends give you rewards under the "episode" list CHECK THE EPISODE LIST EVERYTIME YOU SWAP TO REALITY! tried unplugging every device (including keyboard/mouse, obv not both at once)? one of the replies below said something about keyboard having to be unplugged (then replugged once game starts)
what setting? zooming in and out is LT/RT, i think LB changes camera angle in fights other than that right stick does all the camera work. you can customize all of the buttons/sticks to whatever you wish in the options, key config at the bottom.
Not sure if anyone else is having this issue but my game just goes black screen and stops responding. It takes about 10 mins for it to go from a large window to a small window and stops responding again. A few people have also come across this issue on the steam discussion pages, but not very many so no one has really found a fix there. Yes I have applied the crack, installed all required programs, run as admin, windows compatibility launches 7 and 8, fullscreen optimizations are off. No, none of this helped. EDIT: The issue is once again a Keyboard issue. If you own a K55 Corsair keyboard the game will not launch. You have to unplug it and then launch the game. Once the game starts you can plug your keyboard back in. I don't know what other keyboards/devices might have this issue with the game but yeah try it and see how it goes.

game adds DLC as soon as you load game (whatever says on) swimsuits refuse to show up for me (even in game it says it's on) everything else important works though
It's because the Swimsuit DLC isn't actually released yet. It's supposed to come in June. So while you can get it to show up in the menu the actual files aren't there so it doesn't do anything when you turn it on.

The most annoying thing for me is how stupidly slow the fast-forward function is. Especially since I seem to choose every insta-death option. It's slow enough I can still read the story comfortably while it's fast-forwarding.
if you can read THAT fast while skipping (LB one not the other one) god damn that's amazing, i literally skipped through about 40 text boxes in 2 seconds while it was skipping, i couldn't read any of that maybe like 3 words each box for a split second, made a 4-5 min scene like 20 seconds... also can save during story scenes right on the choices, so you shouldn't be re-reading anything much anyways, or hit L2 to skip whatever scenes you can completely.
See for me L2 skips stupidly slow. Like 1 full second or more per line. Honestly it's not much faster than the auto-mode for story sequences. There are also a fair number of choices in the game at places you can't save. Like in the story sequences right before and after boss fights.
maybe the games lagging? i'm seeing at quite random times my text slows (for like a second) then super fast again there was other compile heart games that lagged like that on PS3/4 to the point of story text being slowed. compile heart needs to work on speed optimization...
Is there any way to make it work with a controller? I tried to use Xpadder but it didn't work, I can only play the game with the keyboard but it always shows the controllers button, if it weren't for that, i would happily play it with the keyboard
try joy2key should be simple to setup i also play with keyboard which i prefer on these kinds of games for some reason it helps to set keyboard controls in a way thats similar to a gamepad for example i use WASD to move IJKL for ABXY buttons QE and UO are my LT,LB,RT,RB

TLDR version: if you like idea factory/compile heart games, and don't mind a large chunk of reading at points, it's a damn nice game. you better have the recommended specs, that minimum is complete bullshit damn the graphics on this game are decently high, wasn't expecting that from a IF/CH game, this makes neptunia V2/VR look like last gen. gameplay swaps between exploring dungeons and RPG battles and such in the "VR world" to visual novel like story scenes in the "reality" the swapping genre thing is bascially special skills that "temporarily" swap the genre to FPS or fighting for the duration of the skill. game starts off bloody as hell completely unexpected, games a little creepy overall, like "thinking you're hearing shit in your room" creepy. sort of like dot hack, sorta SAO, you play the story of Shiina who's the only player logged into game and she's trying to get out and the only way is to beat the game, all the party members and other people are NPCs, you can swap out to "reality" to control the guy who made the game in a sort of visual novel point and click thing which effects the "game" as needed to clear out glitches (or put in glitches in some cases) the "game" part fighting is like a mix of Mugen souls bouncing enemies and stuff around and the combo hitting of Neptunia games, one A button press does 3 hits+launches enemies right away, or you can put 3 commands yourself then execute them. there's a corruption percentage haven't seen the effect of this yet
About the combat. It's easy to miss but the way you get a lot of new skills is kind of unique. When you manually input specific attacks in the right order sometimes a lightbulb will appear with a percent. That is a percent to learn a new skill (which you keep permanently) after performing that specific attack sequence. Also the corruption effects. If you get to 80% corruption you transform into a more powerful (and almost naked) special form that can use special attack skills. Your corruption then drops with each attack till it goes back under 80% and you transform back to normal. It's kind of like the HDD forms in Neptunia but comes with a risk since if you get to 100% corruption that character becomes unusable for a while.
GTX 1050ti, Intel i5 CPU 2.3Ghz quadcore, 8GB ram with 1080p fullscreen and the 3 graphics settings (shadows, view distance, post processing) all high/on game has dropped down to 35fps at the first "castle" dungeon the game itself doesn't slow down just frame drops. the three settings above made like a 10fps difference when lowered expect a decent PC to play this without issues
Well with an 980 which is on par with 1060 6GB, give or take, I can get 60fps with around 70% GPU usage at 1080p. So I don't think a 1050ti is cut out for this game since the optimization is far from good.

I have a cheap generic Logitech USB controller and the game recognized it no problem. Any controller should work as long as it's Xinput and not DirectInput.

Anyone have an Idea to config the graphic setting, I ran it on an integrated graphic with 6gb ram, and it was very laggy. I have tried the config on the menu and turn off shadows, vsnyc, post-processing and it was still not enough.
idea factory/compile gameplay, you can bounce enemies into other enemies (or allies to combo) the FPS, fighting, etc stuff there's special skills that (temporarily) swap the game genre, like the FPS one you can shoot enemies for like 20 seconds (i think i barely started i'm in the tutorial phase still)
Seems pretty good from what I've seen from the beginning, although, I'm a bit confused as to who that second character was that's in my party. I don't recall her ever being mentioned and she hasn't interacted so far either. Is this a new game plus save or something?

the FPS, fighting, etc stuff there's special skills that (temporarily) swap the game genre, like the FPS one you can shoot enemies for like 20 seconds (i think i barely started i'm in the tutorial phase still)
Considering the description, I do hope I can "change" the game genre, so I do not need to stick to that turn-based crap. (>3<)
