How can I add custom maps to the game? I cannot find the 'Maps' folder that the tutorials has been talking about. It is supposed to be inside the AppData folder. Can anyone help? Thank you.
Okay,appearently now you have to DOWNLOAD the crack fix togther and put the dat file inside BACK into the main game folder directory,no need to put it in 1.9 folder but still...?Not working?!
Okay,appearently this game crack decided to forcefully tie itself with Steam and will never open at all by giving me the typical application error and forcefully direct me to the game's steam page.
Inside the download file containing the installation pack look into the PROPHET folder and find "cnc3game" (it's the CRACK that came with the download) Now copy that. Than go to folder where you installed the game and go to: (Main game folder) >>> RetailExe >>> 1.9 >>> and delete "cnc3game.dat" over there.
Now past the "cnc3game" from the PROPHET folder in there, start the game. You can't overwrite it, you need to delete the former file. These old CnC games got a lot of shit reviews on Steam because EA didn't even test them on Windows 10, a lot of them were broken and cannot be played without a patch.
Ok thanks,but apparently the downloaded game installation file stops giving out that Prophet folder for this one and its Expansion Pack.Now I had to download the crack fix now. Tib Wars is working now,but my KW crack is sitting ducks RN because of the same problems as the TibWars and the worst of all,there is no single crack fix file for KW.
I got Tiberium Wars working on my end, played the crap out of it, downloaded Kane's Wrath, installed but have yet to try. Pretty sure it will work since Prophet only failed to name the crack file properly (.dat instead of .exe)
i know i am 2 year late. but the moment i delete the dat file, replace it with the cncgame. exe, rename it to cncgame.dat try to launch the game, nothing happens, any help?
Possible solution for use Kane's Wrath on win10 and/or having the error at launch: "Directx 9 or higher needed..." on a laptop(Intel UHD 630) , the problem was the initial resolution conflict with the screen, adding the parameter "-win" at the launch path have let game start windowed, then i changed the resolution, canceled the forced windowed command, fixed. Hope it helps.

Tell you what, i know i'm hella late but for others to notice - you gotta delete the cnc3game.dat from the folder, put the cnc3game.exe from the crack folder in the folder that cnc3game.dat was, and rename cnc3game.exe to cnc3game.dat

uh... what was that game? that's looks like empire earth, and the graphic, units, style, etc empire earth is the better, also more challenging, i remember play empire earth since i was 7
