I never compared this game to a rape simulator, you just introduced a problem that wasn't there (or was it?) and of course the creators won't listen to anyone on how to "express" themselves properly, after all they're unique individuals who need no validation from society am I right? But I'm sure as hell they need to learn how to draw better people.

Representation for the sake of representation is garbage and just feels forced. Things feeling forced make them bad and the more of it there is in a given game/show/movie/ what have you the worse it is. Just because they add representation is NOT good if the game is shit because it's forced.
How is it forced? The whole game is about being queer. Even if the cast was 99% cishet and one queer person was in the cast, someone would say that we're forced rep. No matter what we do, our existence is seen as forced and unnecessary. Queer people can't have anything.
I think the style is interesting. It's a kind of crossbreeding between a realistic depiction and a desu-desu-desu waifu style. What seems ugly it is just the result of this way to depict people, which is different from what waifu-people usually experience. For people used to desu desu also the reality is just ugly. But for other people that still try to depict reality waifu is also ugly as hell.
