You must have played it before to that point. go to C:\Users[username]\AppData\Local and then UNDERTALE, then delete the contents of that folder to eesentially true reset though

actually there's a boss at the end of the game (one of them), its some kind of weird ass monster (really disgusting) there's many colors it moves around everywhere, and also many powerful bosses have some big fast attacks that may trigger you so be careful a little bit, idk if it works but maybe decreasing your screen light may help make the flashing mild ? anyway enjoy

Replying to everyone here. i am not educated on how viruses or cryptominers work or why but what i have been told by someone who helped me setup some yuzu related stuff that is paid for mentioned that a site like igg, just because you can download a game, run it and play it doesn't mean you haven't been infected. What i been told about cryptominers are that they are programs that insert themselves into your pc and mine for certain likes of code or in this case, virtual currency such as bit coin. different miners use a different amount of what i believe to be cpu and will reefer to it such. It could either be 1% (unnoticable) 2, 5, 10%, still relatively unnoticable, 20% upwards of all available on your computer, programs may struggle to detect these but i can't say for certain. These miners serve a single purpose and that is to get as many of these coins as they can from you so that the owners can get as much money as possible. Am i personally threatened by this? No, i have used igg-games for a very long time and i rarely get error messages downloading a game, i think it's just because the files and websites igg host for this game are old and could have easily had some viruses sneaked in, which is why you all get an error and virus alert. As i mentioned earlier, i am not very educated, i make many guesses here, but i recommend you to research into cryptominers as you may be infected by them yourself and your antivirus have not detected them as they technically don't cause any harm to your system but rather your performance, there may be long lasting effect of this mining, i am personally not concerned but what i am concerned about is getting virus alerts. false positives are one thing but when you try disabling your antivirus and you still get detections, it's concerning. Sorry for the wall of text but i just couldn't sit here and watch all the conflicts of whether there is a virus or a cryptominer involved. i run ad blocker myself so most of not all ads are blocked
there is no virus, crack files are similar to trojans so they are flagged by generic results never anything harmful detected. there is also no bitcoin miner, i dont even think IGG has a bitcoin wallet. All files on this site are safe but if you still dont trust it you dont have to use it, just buy the games instead(:

No, its not. It the file i sent will get your computer an easy backdoor access. The file is an installer, nearly all cracked installer executeables are safe and thus will not be detected as malware, but this one isnt ONLY an installer, it will install a trojan as well as the game.

I have a problem. I got all the way to the core in this game, I had been playing for several days and I saved and quit multiple times. But for some reason this time when I booted up the game, all my progress was wiped. It started me back at the character naming screen and brought me back to the beginning of the game. I played it again, this time a lot faster, and I reached the point right before the Undyne fight. Then when I started up this game this morning, boom. Progress deleted again. WHY? I JUST WANT TO FINISH THIS GAME.

This site doesn't really deal in free games or betas. When Toby releases the full game, I have no doubt it will be very heavily requested. IGG usually has the heavily requested games very fast, so it's just a matter of waiting until it's released.
I don't know about the other links, and it's not broken just kind of annoying, but when I download the Mega files, whenever I click to open up the app for UNDERTALE, it shows up with some little error message, and once I hit 'okay' or whatever it just boots up the game normally.

If you name your character "Frisk", you will initiate a joke "hardmode", after the encounter with Toriel ends, the "hardmode" will end. You need to reset the game by closing it and then opening it again. Once it is opened, choose the reset option in the load screen. Then choose another name besides "Frisk" to avoid starting "hardmode" again. So... no, it's not a demo. Just do what i said above and you should be good to board the feels train.

Disable antivirus, extract it in the folder with only English letters, (for example e with a line on the top, means it's a non-English letter) then enjoy!
Here is another method: Try to google undertale audio files, if you found them, download them, replace it in the undertale folder. If does not work, run as administrator.

For the people who want to mess with your files to find Gaster and reset genocide runs with the Codex crack version: I found my ini file and other things here: "c:\users[MY_USERNAME]\Local Settings\Application Data\UNDERTALE" Technically, I was using WINE in linux, so the directory was located here: "/home/$USERNAME/.wine/dosdevices/c:/users/$USERNAME/Local Settings/Application Data/UNDERTALE" Hope this works for you c:

You need to delete the file UNDERTALE, you need to go in LOCAL, that is found in the file APPDATA... but this will delete your save. If you did Genocide run and don't wanna sell your soul, you gotta have the original Steam version i think...

Nope. Same thing happened to me and many others. In the codex it says it should be saved in %SystemDrive%\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Steam which I don't even have and have never had (and I use Steam often for many games with no issue.) The steam forums aren't for games that have been torrented because steam files work differently. Where are the save files stored for your torrented version of Undertale?
Some of there games "crack files" are counted as virus cause steam paid them to report crack files as viruses to discourage crack games. Some games crack files are made to bypass the steam verification process so Steam doesn't like it. Though still be wary

No, It only shows up after talking to clamgirl in a certain location twice. Or clamboy...? Not sure, But after talking to a certain one of them in a certain location(I forgot the exact details) twice, The new dialogue will trigger. Here's an easier way to see if you got the update: After giving the statue the umbrella, Wait to see if the solution to the piano puzzle shows up after about 5 to 10 seconds, If it doesn't then it didn't work.

Actually, the UNDERTALE file in LocalAppdata keeps some stuff... but if you get a new game, with a new http://data.win, you'll continue in your own game, kinda like separate saves, but the file0 and such, undertale.ini and system_information keeps some stuff.... forever

Where are the Save files? No, I don't found anything in AppData/Roaming. Anyway, I didn't install the game propertly saying. I extract with 7zip, click in the .exe and I can play the game normally. Nothing more. I don't know if this is important.
With only that, I couldn't do much. If you use Mac, I can't help. If you use Windows. The single thing that I can think of is that you can't see hiden folders, and AppData is a hiden folder. Try this: -Go to "Computer" and look for a tab called "Organize". Click on it. -Click on "Folder and search options". -In "Folder Options", go to the tab "View", and in "Advanced setting", in "Hiden files and folders", select the option "Show hiden files, folders and drives". -Go to Computer/Local Disk/Users/{your user's name}/AppData/Local/UNDERTALE. I believe that may be a graphics card software problem, but I could be wrong. Try updating your drivers. If that fails, then it may be a hardware issue so I can't really help you there. Also, make sure you're using Windows, I don't believe IGG uploads games for Mac or other OS
People say that you have to found the Save file in the Roaming file inside the AppData, and erase it. Anyway, I can't assure you because I don't have that file :/.

I read you should not extract the rar into a folder with "unenglish" (probably meant non unicode). I had put the folder into some sub-folders and one of them actually contained a non english letter (a german umlaut). Then I shoved it one folder upwards so that the path contained no special letters or symbols anymore. And sure enough, now the music plays! Either the path name or number of folders did it apparently.
could you be a bit more specific? i really need to fix this, have tried putting the folder in a with a non englisht letter but it says that i cant find the unicode

The game crashed when I beat the final boss. When I restarted it, the opening dialogue is unskippable until it glitches out and eventually says "Floweytale" in the Title Bar. My save file was replaced by a file named Flowey with 9999:99 hours and LV9999.
I want to know how to restart and try other paths but at that point I got stuck and and still stuck trying to figure out hOW TO JUST FIX MY GAME CAUSE NOW ITS USELESS
The game itself works fine, but it's not playing any of the .ogg files that come with the game. And the ogg files are, to be precise, all of the music and some particular sound effects. I can't really play the game with this lack of music and sound. How can I fix this? I'm on a 64-bit windows 7 basic pc. I've already tried running the game from inside steam (offline), disabling my antivirus and running the game as an admin.

I found my ini file and other things here:
"c:\users[MY_USERNAME]\Local Settings\Application Data\UNDERTALE"
Technically, I was using WINE in linux, so the directory was located here:
"/home/$USERNAME/.wine/dosdevices/c:/users/$USERNAME/Local Settings/Application Data/UNDERTALE"

Not sure, But after talking to a certain one of them in a certain location(I forgot the exact details) twice, The new dialogue will trigger.
Here's an easier way to see if you got the update:

Anyway, I didn't install the game propertly saying. I extract with 7zip, click in the .exe and I can play the game normally. Nothing more. I don't know if this is important.
-Go to "Computer" and look for a tab called "Organize". Click on it.
-Click on "Folder and search options".
-In "Folder Options", go to the tab "View", and in "Advanced setting", in "Hiden files and folders", select the option "Show hiden files, folders and drives".
-Go to Computer/Local Disk/Users/{your user's name}/AppData/Local/UNDERTALE.

When I click on Undertale.exe the screens appears and the music is playing but it looks like the image is "maximized" (like, I se some letters of the prologue but they're are huge and it's the only thing that shows up on the screen)

I had put the folder into some sub-folders and one of them actually contained
a non english letter (a german umlaut). Then I shoved it one folder
upwards so that the path contained no special letters or symbols anymore.
And sure enough, now the music plays! Either the path name or number of folders did it apparently.
