Darn it! i messed my game totally up now when i try to play it tries to connect to online server even when i click offline server so glad i still have the original copy i never touched i think i'll just play that seeing as how messed up the patches are now instead of a july update i get to play the april release! but seems the same to me nothing is different, i may just forget it and wait till the final release unless a major change or update comes thru! Wow talk about messed up! every way i tried this i get errors from the update patches, the update is mismatched errors! Like the two other patches that were messed up i'm not going to bother! The update isnt that big a deal i'll wait till a good patch comes thru and works as i'm not going crazy to change everything these patches come out so often errors are bound to happen. All experts here...pls I need help. I got all files Hash sum mismatch! Required MD5: (with different codes) while updating V1.21. I reinstalled the game and tried to update it again but still the same thing happened. I didn't turn on antivirus and also window defender while downloading stuffs.. How can I fix it?
Here is what i did after 2 fail. Uninstalled with iobit uninstaller,pc restarted,game installed again,i used crack from iso,update extracted again,and it worked,so update installed,and i used the World.War.Z.Undead.Sea.Update.v1.21.Crackfix-CODEX crack. 1 more thing i did not copy crack from iso when the 2 fail happened. Don't ask me which one caused the error, no idea.
Try to install the game and all the updates in secured boot. Win + r then "msconfig" select secure boot and install everything through this then set it back to normal start and it will work

Get L4D2 (levels from l4d1 are included thats why noone plays 1 anymore) and then just play it. Its like 2€ on steam sale right now. The gfx is still very okay and the game is great. You should have some people playing it with you. Its super cheap and many people have it so you should be able to find some.
I got L4D and L4D on sale last year super cheap. It's still played but the 2nd game is a lot more popular. Z might be fun Co-Op but they went the Epic exclusives way so I wouldn't support them.

i copied it from this site as i said for you to do. all the files are interchangable so you can download one part from mega one from goole and 3 from another it does not matter as long as you do not interrupt the download i suggest you using XDM from sourceforge as a download manager unless you have idm....or paid for idm it is better but its not free....anyways good luck
you can use google drive just hit the add to my drive and once you do make a copy of it delete the original and download the copy...rename if ya want its not needed. i can share part 3 from google drive if you need.
Have exactly same problem in Overwatch and Apex Legends when running 1280x1024, so yea this resolution seems to be bugged in many games, you should get a 1920x1080 monitor, or try using different resolutions in the game settings.

nope simply hit the bluelink download thing when it comes up to where you down load you simply go to the top right and hit add to my drive do for all parts as i jus did go to your drive right click and make a copy of each delete the original youll know which is which.. download the copy rename if ya want i do.. then do what ya need to do to get the game extracted and running.

Edited: I'm running off the RX 570 and even after finding out from the torrent site that I need to set the game to high performance so that it'll run on the RX 570, it still crashed on me. Game works perfectly so far. Testing another episode before I buy it but runs well and pretty optimised. You can grab it from a keysite for like £20 but I wouldn't pay full price for this game.

If you want to play with shitty bots, sure. I get the impression that a lot of the mechanics were heavily influenced by l4d2, but it is a lot clunkier and more rigid. I'm sure an online experience would definitely be better, but as far as offline goes I'd give this one a pass. Also, if you're curious about LAN, it doesn't work. Multiplayer menu is locked due to not being connected to WarZ servers.

This is far from the truth. Yes, games can still survive without relying on steam, but it doesn't mean they're not sacrificing a LOT of potential profit. Steam is still by far the dominant platform and can easily survive some major titles leaving said platform. In most cases, these games have complex online features that require them to have more control over their players. I believe that if a user had a choice to purchase one game between steam or another launcher, they're more likely to pick steam simply because most of their games are already on that platform. Many of the competing platforms you see now have been around for years and in my opinion have hardly threatened steam's position in online digital distribution. Though steam does have plenty of drawbacks, the sheer convenience of the platform makes it stand out from the rest. I personally would prefer not having to go through several launchers to play different games; thus if it isn't on steam, I won't buy it. Paying the difference would be unprofitable. Epic does give a bigger cut by 18%, but most of this still goes to publishers regardless. Maybe if they get their shit together, they could be a proper competitor that doesn't fuck over the consumers every chance they get. For developers, epic may seem appealing, but in my opinion they're just sacrificing reputation. The main thing that contributes to their success at the moment is their aggressive anti-consumer business tactics involving buying exclusive rights to the sale of some major titles like borderlands and metro; forcing the consumer to use their store.

Alright so the game sometimes crashes in the middle of the episode like f.e. in the first level it crashed 3 times (1st time before reaching the elevator, 2nd time going onto the street to reach the subway and the 3rd time right before the train cutscene played) but after that the episode worked flawlessly for some reason. If its asking for a password then it's not the real .Rar file. try to redownload, sometimes the sites will output a fake file for people to install a bunch of unwanted junk on their computers.

the 3rd archive file got only a wrong filename, just rename it as same as the other archive files cancelling the " (2) " which is the reason why you get the error.

Did you set it up after copying it into the games root folder? Have to open it and configure it first or else it wont work, luckily you only have to do that once for each game you use it with.
emulator you need to put it in your game folder where is exe that starts game, and you need 64bit 86bit deppends on game you can find tutorials on youtube how to setup

TO EVERYONE When dealing with a CODEX TORRENT, always RECHECK when finished. it probably didn't finish, this applies to almost all, assume all of CODEX torrents
antivirus kicked in probably. If you extracted iso then it'll delete the crack. just mount it. when you finish. make sure your antivirus is off. tick the copy codex to...whatever it is they have in the installer. if the crack didn't go over then you'll have to copy paste manually
Your anti-virus will NEVER delete any files inside the ISO, EVER it doesn't have those kinds of permissions, no anti virus does. This game has no DRM, hence why the folder is empty
And i will say again, no antivirus has permission to delete any file inside an ISO as ISO files have a completely different set of permissions. Your AV only kicks in when you try to run the files inside it. And, like i said, in this case thee CODEX folder being empty is normal as the game is DRM free and doesn't need a crack. I guess the folder is there just to ID the one who released it
Game works great and it's insanely well optimized, something we rarely get a chance to say with the condition some games released recently wind up in. This game, however, runs perfectly with a fps between 70 to 100 or so at Ultra settings, even when all the zombies are swarming like in the movie.

No it's not. Steamworks HAS A CRACKED VERSION that lets you play pirated games online. Look it up. For example Monster hunter World HAS A Steamworks crack and works just fine online. What they do is they use the Payday 2 demo to give you access to Steam's servers and you can play the pirated games online that way

try installing Visual C++ v56 (all in one) this will install most of the redist required from games/software. No reviews, no achievements, no forums, no stats (you can't see how many people in-game, you can't see top 100 most played games at the moment list like it is in Steam), constant users data being stolen (yes, most users data can also be stolen on other platform too, like facebook, steam, uplay etc.), but Epic Store has especially bad reputation about this.

That's not how it works. Scene groups post the full files with an NFO to identify themselves on the scene's private topsites and IRC channels for other scene members to see and they get logged as cracked on predb listings. It's officially cracked at that point provided it doesn't get nuked. Crackwatch isn't part of the scene and just posts second hand information they pull from publicly available predb sites and the like which anyone can see. No real scene group sends them anything nor does crackwatch have any authority to declare anything officially cracked or not. The admins at crackwatch are often late in updating or posting the correct info. It's only a useful site if you don't know how to or feel like just checking public predb websites yourself.
Admin crackwatch is human, they online 24 hours as i talk to them. Also the game sometime has been cracked right when they sleep so that's why they late updating it. Crackwatch isn't scene group, yes but a lot of people need to know when the game release or cracked and cw is the place. I've been member of cw 1 years~
None of that changes the fact scene groups don't need to send NFOs to Crackwatch nor does the listing on Crackwatch matter as to if a game is officially cracked or not. I got all files Hash sum mismatch! Required MD5: (with different codes) while updating V1.21. I reinstalled the game and tried to update it again but still the same thing happened.
I didn't turn on antivirus and also window defender while downloading stuffs..
How can I fix it?
Uninstalled with iobit uninstaller,pc restarted,game installed again,i used crack from iso,update extracted again,and it worked,so update installed,and i used the World.War.Z.Undead.Sea.Update.v1.21.Crackfix-CODEX crack.
1 more thing i did not copy crack from iso when the 2 fail happened.
Don't ask me which one caused the error, no idea.

Replacing crack in update with crackfix doesnt help
select secure boot and install everything through this then set it back to normal start and it will work
you can only play singleplayer, hamachi or vpn's will not work, online IS NOT CRACKED.

just hit the add to my drive and once you do make a copy of it delete the original and download the copy...rename if ya want its not needed. i can share part 3 from google drive if you need.

I'm having trouble starting up the game. I saw a comment asking about the same problem but when I tried translating the solution it didn't really help much.
Also, if you're curious about LAN, it doesn't work. Multiplayer menu is locked due to not being connected to WarZ servers.

Many of the competing platforms you see now have been around for years and in my opinion have hardly threatened steam's position in online digital distribution. Though steam does have plenty of drawbacks, the sheer convenience of the platform makes it stand out from the rest. I personally would prefer not having to go through several launchers to play different games; thus if it isn't on steam, I won't buy it.

No reviews, no achievements, no forums, no stats (you can't see how many people in-game, you can't see top 100 most played games at the moment list like it is in Steam), constant users data being stolen (yes, most users data can also be stolen on other platform too, like facebook, steam, uplay etc.), but Epic Store has especially bad reputation about this.

Crackwatch isn't part of the scene and just posts second hand information they pull from publicly available predb sites and the like which anyone can see. No real scene group sends them anything nor does crackwatch have any authority to declare anything officially cracked or not. The admins at crackwatch are often late in updating or posting the correct info. It's only a useful site if you don't know how to or feel like just checking public predb websites yourself.
Also if people want to know when a game is cracked checking public predb websites, which have been around for longer than Crackwatch, would be more accurate and up to date.
